- Justine (2/5): Disappointed - It was clean. No hot water for 2 of the 3 days and extreme difficulty getting through to anyone to sort the problem. I also still don't have a GST receipt that I have requested multiple times.

Self contained so everything you need if eating in. Stairs for luggage- very slippery when raining. The traffic noise at times. It didn’t ruin our stay but should be noted as on main road.

- Ebony (9/5): Cosy and practical. - I was travelling solo so perfect amount of space for myself. The room was very cosy and warm, and had large windows I could open for some fresh air with a nice view onto a grassy hill outside. Lovely little kitchenette with sink, making it easy to make a tea and wash dishes. Easy, picturesque stroll in and out of town. Cheap uber to and from the airport and a bus stop right outside that links you into downtown, Coronet Peak Onsens, trails right through to Arrow Town. Perfect for a rest and recovery after a day of adventures. Laundry facilities to wash clothes as well. Staff were friendly and prompt. Easy check in. - The interconnecting layout made my neighbours feel very close, however they were quiet and respectful. Also practical for sharing laundry facilities. This would be great for friends of family travelling together. - The shower was a little awkward. I wouldn’t recommend for travellers with hip or knee issues.

However, if y - Location of the property was great, a short walk into Queenstown with designated parking should you have a car. For the price of the property, there were a number of areas of improvement. The studio was not serviced daily which is fine, however fresh towels should be provided for stays over 3/4 days. The water pressure was terrible - it would take over an hour to fill the bathtub which was really the only option as the pressure wasn’t strong enough for the shower.

The property is advertised as having a garden view or maybe it said a courtyard view. The view is a sidewalk. And we couldn’t open the blinds because anyone walking on the sidewalk could see in. Very disappointing. I added a picture from inside the unit. The cost is reasonable, until all the fees were added. The fees added $300 to our stay.

The only negative, although minor was the lack of tea/coffee. This is a problem when you arrive late and just fancy a cuppa -

- Anne (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay, the view was amazing. would come back again - The view was absolutely amazing from the lounge. Good facilities re kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and dryer. Lovely big screen TV which we enjoyed watching. Fantastic. A bit tricky to get into the fridge in the kitchen. A few more instructions re the dishwasher would have helped.

- Nikita (8/5): My friend and I were extremely happy with our time at the Pounamu apartments, and will definitely be back again! - The property had a beautiful view, warm fireplace, very clean and spacious. It was a convenient spot as well, not toof far from the activities we had planned. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pounamu complex. I’d say the only thing would be the light above the mirror in the bathroom didn’t work, and there wasn’t much lighting in the bedroom part. The shower head also would always move upwards when on a high pressure so it was a bit annoying and messy.

- Kori (7/5): Nice place, few improvements like updating tv with more modern features & a new bed would make it great. - Value for for money for Queenstown Had a fire place & washing machine was ideal Couldn’t get tv working properly (only 8 channels) and had 4 remotes to try and decipher. Place was a little dirty with stains on couches and rug. Bed wasn’t great and shower was good but short for tall people.

- Eythan (8/5): Very nice - Apartment was very nice and spacious with beautiful views in a good location, in door fireplace was a nice addition and amazing bonus with the cold weather. Communication with management was amazing, assisted with luggage storage prior to the room being available for check-in. Clear written instructions for key pickup and drop-off. A few minor things that didn't have a major impact on our stay. - Shower head is..... interesting. - Bed pillows were very large and uncomfortable in our opinion, for a relatively expensive stay it made for an uncomfortable sleep.

- BAHARUDDIN (8/5): Overall, it was a decent stay, but for the price paid, these issues should have been addressed before guests checked - We had a good stay at this 2-bedroom unit. The bathrooms had heated floors, and the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils. The unit does involve stairs both to access and within. However, the TV was not properly set up to the right channels for proper viewing. When reported, the staff expect us to set up and troubleshoot for them. We ended not being able to watch tv throughout our stay. Additionally, the bathroom sink drained very slowly. Although we reported it and received reassurance, no proper solution was provided.

- Cho (1/5): AVOID - Nothing Everything. We booked a room for 4 nights and when we arrived at 5pm the key was not in the lockbox as per their instructions for the check-in. The room was wide open and anyone could have entered the room between 12pm (the time they insist the cleaners left the property) and the time of our check-in. As the door was unlocked for us, we entered without a key and searched for one in the room and still could not find it. 2 hours into our checkin, not being able to leave the room, we checked the lockbox again outside the room and there was the missing key which was not initially there. Feeling insecure, we asked for assistance to investigate where this key had come from. However, none of the hotel staffs, managers, or cleaning staffs had put the key back in place. They suggested that that was the only key on hand and the room should be secure as they do not have other replacement keys other than that. Despite the fact, it is true that we do not know where this key had suddenly come from and what could have been done on the room. I understand that customers have the right to receive a product that is of acceptable quality. The security was not at acceptable quality and the time wasted for having to wait for the resolution suggests that the produce was not delivered on time (noting that the room should have been secure and available at the time of checkin). They offered a $800 refund deducting a cleaning fee of $150 they would incurr for having us in the room for 2 hours. We did so as instructed to wait for the problem to be resolved. It is ridiculous how we get the burden of the cleaning fee when we were simply waiting for them to clean up their mess. Moreover, the $800 refund was not even processed properly as per their confirmation and a lessor amount was secretly being processed. AVOID GUYS

- Sohee (4/5): Disappointing - When I went out of the hotel, I saw the river. The bathroom isn’t in such a good condition. It's a public washing machine. At this price, I thought it would be better to stay somewhere else. It's vaguely far from the city center. The bed is also called a queen bed with a single bed attached. The electric mat was also in only one single bed. View is a basement view. You can see the feet of people passing by. It was like a prison. Netflix is not working either.

- Elsa (10/5): It's simply amazing! The staff are extremely proactive in addressing problems and their attitude is very good. - Overall, the experience is really great. You can enjoy the mountain and lake views from the balcony. The weather is particularly nice every morning and your mood will be good as well. The facilities are also very convenient. Some seasonings, beverages to be made, and CD discs are prepared for you to listen to music. Overall, it is very suitable for family vacations.
- Brendon (5/5): My stay, I must say disappointed, - My stay, I must say disappointed, Work men drilling into room wall outside day 1 and again on day two at 8am, along with builders / painter's rubbish and no sound proofing at all with other guest noise. The bed is very cheap and could do with upgrade, for the price paid I would expect better than we received. Positive aspect was great location and clean.

- Mary (9/5): Amazing views and great service in a perfect location in Queenstown! - Amazing view, great location We did not have a rental car and arrived just in time to catch afternoon tour, but too early for check in. Then same thing happened on the day we left, an early tour that would not return in time to check out so nowhere to store our luggage. I was totally impressed that the property worked with us on this - the room was ready one hour before check in time so we could drop our bags before our first tour, and someone arrived to the office to take our bags and check us out early enough to catch our last tour - two thumbs up for problem solving but I bet we are not the only guests with this challenge. The property was very responsive and accommodating, we will stay here again if we return to Queenstown for the views and customer service - two thumbs up!
