- Holly (10/5): - Lovely little place and nice breakfast - would stay again if in the area
- brian f (10/5): A genuine Gastro pub with great rooms - What a joy. Friendly efficient staff and welcome. Proper food cooked to a superb standard - dine in the dining room or beside a warm welcoming fire near the bar. Popular with locals and tourists for a reason
Worth a detour!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Stay! - Lovely place to stay, good food. Comfortable room with everything you need. Nice atmosphere and amazing views nearby.
- Verified traveler (8/5): 1 night business stay - Fantastic pub and accommodation. The staff are super friendly and the food was excellent.
The room was in great condition with good decor and a super comfortable bed.
Was an issue with flies in the bathroom and was told it always happens this time of year!
Would probably stay again if I'm back in the area.
- David (10/5): Ideal retreat. - Super food, great night away, 2nd visit would go again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely location, quiet and comfortable.
Restaurant was haute cuisine, but a little short on quantity.
- Brad (8/5): Nice place - Staff were very nice, food was excellent, breakfast was also good.
Parking was easy.
Only negative was the WiFi, so I couldn’t complete my work online, but it was not that big a deal.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A great location , friendly accommodating staff with a relaxed atmosphere and some great beers and Gins.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good-sized room in excellent condition above the pub (but not noisy). Excellent food, incl.breakfast. Easy to find & convenient for Hereford area.
- Samantha (10/5): Fabulous b&b - Amazing service and food etc, can't rate highly enough
- Brian (10/5): - Great place loved everything
- Selina (10/5): Lovely Stay - We had a lovely stay and a great meal. The location is a little remote but this added to the elaxed feel of our stay.
- Gareth (8/5): Well worth a visit - We arrived a little early (before 5pm) and could not check-in. A walk around the village, Castle and church easily covered the spare time. Friendly check-in. Our room (Dore) was probably the smallest, but a large en-suite. WE ate in the bar area, but could have eaten where ever we wanted. The food was good, as was the beer. , We retired well satisfied. Breakfast was of high quality and plenty of it available. Checked out at the bar after breakfast.
Worth a visit.
- Iain (10/5): Well recommend staying here. - This is a real gem. Extremely poor weather conditions when I stayed and I could not fault the hospitality.
Very comfortable room and excellent food.
