Breakfast was exceptionally good with a wide range of items and it is served as an open buffet. Love the location and it is great to be able to watch the balloons from the rooftop. N/A

The terrace and restaurant above have wonderful views of the city and hot air balloons. Humayun and Burak were extremely helpful, responsive, and booked the exact excursion I wanted conveniently and at a fair price. They made the place feel very welcoming and I highly recommend staying here. I can't think of one thing I didn't like.

- Peter (6/5): Good place for a few nights. - Good location. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Very good shower. Internet was very poor and the tour prices they quoted were not competitive with what is available online or in the town. Technically not a problem more of a buyer beware statement.
- Natalia (10/5): Best hotel - The hotel is very nice, built and decorated as a cave; we liked the decoration, with lots of wood and local details such as carpets and lamps, very much. The rooms were spatious and comfortable, and, importantly, they were very well heated during the cold Cappadocian winter weather. Breakfast was very tasty and appropriate for any taste. The atmosphere in the hotel is great: the breakfast room is a closed terrace with an excellent view of the valley, there is also an open terrace upstairs from which balloon flights can be observed, and the other guests were very kind. Last but not least, the hotel owners were extremely helpful, responsive and kind to us, always ready to help. This is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in, and we strongly recommend it to anyone willing to spend time in Göreme.

From being warmly welcomed by the owner at reception to seeing his mom lovingly prepare breakfast each morning, the place genuinely feels like a home rather than just a hotel. There’s heart in every detail. The advice on tours was invaluable — honest guidance, great support with arrangements, and help securing fair prices without falling into the usual tourist traps. That alone made our experience in Cappadocia even more special and stress-free. Breakfasts were delicious and satisfying, and the cave rooms were comfortable, clean, and more than adequate for both a short stay or even a longer visit of a few days. Para mi lo peor es el desayuno, es tipo buffet pero es todos los dias lo mismo. Posibilidad de que hagan pizzas caseras para cenar y a mejor precio que en el pueblo, aunque no haya servicio de restaurante y no se pueda tomar otra cosa. - SEOYEON (10/5): 너무 만족한 카파도키아 여행이었습니다 - 동굴호텔 묵어보고 싶어서 예약햇고 만족합니다. 괴뢰메 핫한 시내에서 조금 떨어져 있지만 도보로 3분내외로 음식점이나 상점가 접근 가능하고요 10월 말일에 가서 추울까봐걱정햇지만 따숩고 푹잤어요! 그리고 조식도 매일 조금씩 다르게.나와서 만족하고 먹엇고요 무엇보다 카이막을 퍼먹을수 있어서 좋았습니다. 호텔 통해서 🏇 승마선셋체험, 공항픽업이용했는데 편안하게 호텔에서 바로 태워서 가고요 승마는 말타고 2시간동안 버섯처럼 생긴 지형을 산책하고 사진찍고 하는데 사진 가이드분들이 너무 잘 찍어줘요 ㅋㅋㅋ 만족합니다 dear. 프리야 저희 요청 잘 들어주고 항상 웃으면서 맞이해주고 고마워요 ♡♥︎ 없어여

L'orario di inizio colazione è alle 08.00, personalmente avrei preferito almeno alle 07.30. Ma lo staff la mattina della partenza è stato così gentile da anticipare di 15 minuti l'orario.

- Sujith (10/5): Great stay for budget travelers - We had a great stay at Safran Cave hotel. It’s located in the Goreme town centre with few minutes walk to some of the tourist spots. The hotel staff arranged Red and Green tours which was helpful. Special mention to Feride who was super helpful during our stay. I’d highly recommend this hotel. The hot air balloon ride was only 5 minutes away and was able to see the balloons from the terrace the next day. Not the typical Capadoccian cave hotel.

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful — she helped us organize everything so easily, including a private driver and airport pick-up/drop-off, all paid directly on the spot. Our room was super cozy, with a very comfortable bed, daily cleaning, and fresh towels every day. The terrace is beautiful — perfect for watching the balloons in the morning or enjoying breakfast with a view. Location is top, just a 5-minute walk from the center. Truly one of those places that makes your trip even better. Totally recommend it! 🌸✨

Cappadocia is a magical place and Safran Cave Hotel is highly recommended. Nothing not to like it’s wonderful.

Abbiamo apprezzato molto la colazione in quanto offre non solo pietanze salate ma anche dolci (ottima la torta al cioccolato e molto apprezzabile la presenza della Nutella). Ottima la posizione, nel centro di Goreme, in una via peraltro facilmente raggiungibile in auto dove è possibile trovare parcheggio con comodità. Consigliato.

Some options like coffee, boiled eggs, cereals were nice to have on the top of Turkey’s traditional breakfast option, which is not always foreign people preference One of our room: 101 suit with King size bed didn’t have AC unit. So we open the window at night to get some fresh air. If you keep window closed then you begin to smell a bit of stuffed smell from Bathroom Not to bad but it was noticeable when we first time came to the room

- Mayumi (9/5): 小規模な可愛いホテル、快適に過ごせた - 2部屋5人で利用しました。部屋は狭いですが部屋を出た所に椅子とテーブルがある部屋だったので、とてもくつろげました。朝食も美味しかったです。宿泊者以外の方も朝食だけ食べに来ていました。屋上から少し気球が見えます。 少しシャワーの排水が弱く水が溜まってしまって溢れないか心配でしたが、大丈夫でした。

Le personnel a été adorable et très accommodant pour le check in et check out. Le petit déjeuner était très bon, et peut être pris sur la terrasse qui a une vue magnifique.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and full of character with traditional decor and a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast was generous and delicious, served on a scenic terrace. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace—absolutely spectacular views of the cityscape and a perfect spot to watch the hot air balloons take flight at sunrise. It’s an Instagram-worthy shot for all you influencers out there! The location was also perfect—close to the town center yet quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. As a cave-style hotel, part of its charm includes unique architectural features—but just a heads-up for taller guests: both my wife and I are around 6 feet tall, and the stairs to our second-floor room had lower ceilings in spots. I bumped my head a couple of times, but it was minor and didn’t take away from the overall experience. Just something to be mindful of when booking!

The rustic and medieval aesthetic of the hotel transports you back to simpler times, and the breathtaking views of the fairy chimneys and mountains from the rooftop are truly remarkable. Whether you go to this hotel or not, I highly recommend trying the Safran Cave Cafe pizza. We got the Turkish sausage pizza, made in their very own pizza oven, and each bite of it was bursting with flavour and covered in stretchy mozzarella. This hotel is also conveniently located near a wide variety of shops, cafes, and taxi stands. The Safran Cave hotel employee was more than happy to assist us in booking our excursions and made us feel welcomed as soon as we stepped on the property. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys mouth-watering food, impeccable hospitality, and easy access to local gift shops and cafes.

Very close to restaurants and the views from the dinning room and terrace amazing! It is clean and the room 106 that we were in was large and welcoming. Small fridge and air conditioner! Hairdryer and huge shower. Nothing. WiFi a bit weak in our room.

Shortly after we completed our booking, the hotel contacted us directly, letting us know that we could reach out anytime if we had any questions. This thoughtful gesture immediately put us at ease. As we were interested in joining a hot air balloon tour, they kindly checked the availability and pricing for us in advance. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception, where the staff gave us a thorough explanation of the hotel facilities, a city map, and useful information about tours. There was always someone—either the owner or a staff member—present at the reception, and they also exchanged contact information with us so we could reach them anytime during our stay. Their hospitality was truly reassuring. We specifically wanted a room with a bathtub, so we booked a suite. The room exceeded our expectations and is something we would highly recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy a relaxing bath. The hotel had a cave-style design, offering the unique atmosphere of a cave without the discomfort of dampness or darkness—it was the best of both worlds. The bathroom was spotless and well-maintained, and thanks to the powerful ventilation system, humidity was never an issue. The bathtub also had a jacuzzi function, which made it even more enjoyable. The hotel as a whole was charming and beautifully designed. Breakfast was served in a lovely glass-walled terrace area, where we could enjoy a selection of Turkish-style dishes. Everything was delicious and satisfying, though we would have appreciated a bit more variety in vegetables. From the breakfast area and nearby outdoor terrace, we could see hot air balloons rising in the early morning sky. While they didn’t come very close during our stay, the sight of numerous balloons floating at sunrise was breathtaking.
- Hrushikesh (10/5): Fantastic stay at Safran - Absolutely lovely stay at SAFRAN Cave Hotel. This place provides the best hospitality with beautiful, clean rooms, great food and top notch customer service. Feride was wonderful throughout the stay with recommendations on tours. She got us a great low price for the hot air balloons. The breakfast was exceptional for the 3 days we ate in with changes to the menu. We checked out very early and Feride offered us sandwiches for which we were very grateful. The location is great with a minutes walk to Göreme town centre but still very quiet. The room was lovely as in the photos. I have stayed in many hotels over the years but this was one of the rare occasions where everything was just so perfect.

They helped us with everything including booking all the tours like ATV tour, Jeep Ride, Hot air baloon, Red tour, Turkish night show. They gave us discounted price for all tours, even reduced prices when they went down and personally spoke to the guides & touring company to ensure we get best experience. The hotel also is lovely, clean. Breakfast was included in our booking and it was very good.

- Yashan (9/5): It was a good stay and the location is great. It’s close to the town centre with two minutes walk. - We generally enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The staff are very nice and sometimes we think we are spoiled. We come to the canto for breakfast around 10am, - the greatest time ends at 10:30am. But the staff offer newly cooked food to us. One surprise happened around 11pm one night during our stay - some guy tried to open our door and enter our room. I guess it was a wrong knock but was disturbed anyway. We stayed here for three days and if the breakfast offering can vary that would be much much appreciated.

All the staff were very friendly and kind with our kids. Burak and Faride were very good hosts. The room had a little musty smell but that was sort of expected since it's a cave hotel. We got used to it after the first day.
