• Ryuta (8/5): 次回も利用したくなるとても快適な一晩でした - 内装がとても綺麗で清潔感もありました スノーボード後に利用しましたがウェアの乾燥室など便利な設備が多くとてもありがたかったです ペンションではやむを得ないと思いますが 隣の部屋の声がよく聞こえました。自分たちは気にせず過ごせましたが隣の部屋に声が筒抜けという事を知っておいた方がが良いのかな?と思いました。
• Anna (10/5): - Dinner and breakfast were delicious! The owner kind send us to the ski resort with shutter bus No conviunce store nearby, only need to take a bus for 20 minutes, travel by car is convinced here
• KIKUSHIMA (10/5): - 夕食がとても美味しかったです。 魚料理や肉料理、デザートもあって、白米もしっとりモチモチで美味しかったです！ コーヒーメーカーもあって、とても助かりました！
• Millicent (10/5): Lovely! - This is a very sweet home stay. Ideally, it would be best if you have a car but we came without one by public transport and still made it work. There are no restaurants open at night but through the day there is a couple in the town and up on the ski resort. They offer free shuttles to and from the resort and also have breakfast and dinner here but it is a bit pricey. The owners are super lovely and they keep the place immaculate. The house smells lovely and his maintained perfectly. Although they don’t speak English, they use translate and try their best. We had a futon bedroom, which was fine but simple. The beds are pretty hard to sleep on, but we made it work. Please note that the shared bathroom is Japanese style and it’s just separated between women and men with three open showers and one shared bath. If you bring your own food and are okay with the Japanese style accommodation then it’s a great stay!

• Allan (10/5): We loved our stay here. It was so special to be close to the ski resort when a big storm came. Just communicate prior to - The location is amazing! The beds are little hard. We did a Japanese style room and still slept well.

• Paul (10/5): Exceptional - Great Pension! The hosts are extremely warm and welcoming! They have a great ski room with tuning gear and huge drying room to dry out from the powder. They also offer a shuttle up to the mountain! We did not opt for the meal plan, but the food looked amazing.

• Khanzode (9/5): Superb - Scenic location, cozy place, friendly and cooperative staff. Overall excellent experience The place is a bit far from everything, taxis become really expensive.
• Victoria (10/5): Best home stay experience in Niigata prefecture Japan - The place is very cozy and clean, the food is very delicious and there is a lot of variety of dishes in each emeal. The cost is also very affordable. The staff are very accommodating and nice. This place is highly recommended for those who wanted to relax and enjoy the winter.They have a shuttle bus coming from the train station. And have onsite free parking. Will definitely come again. Although they don't speak English, they are still very accommodating to foreigners.
• Jane (10/5): Very comfortable and would stay again - We arrived very late after checkin closed and they were very kind and helpful. The rooms were cosy and clean, and the beds very comfortable. The drying room was super hot for drying wet gloves and boots. They had a shuttle bus up to the ski hill which was a very short distance. We had dinner one night and it was amazingly good and well priced ! The walls were quite thin so could hear the gentleman next door up during the night and talking on the phone late.
• Jacqueline (4/5): Don't visit during low season - The hotel is in a nice location, stunning views of the mountains. It is quite isolated, though, and a long way from the train station. The hotel restaurant was closed on the night I stayed, which was not communicated in advance, meaning I had to go to bed hungry. There were no places nearby where I could get food. The vending machine in the lobby was poorly stocked with just a few drinks options and no snacks. No breakfast available in the morning either.
