• Monique (2/5): - This place is terrible , I wish I could say differently. The location is fantastic but everything else is a 2 star at best. Mold in the shower, no amenities as listed. No front desk , you can only communicate through WHATSAPP, no laundry as indicated which is a big deal considering many people only travel with carry-on now and wash clothes along the way. When I asked about it I was told it’s not on site and given a website with an address. The mattresses are like sleeping on plywood. The pics make the place look bright and fresh….its NOT, it’s dark and dingy. There are dozens of hotels and AIRBNB’s in the area….pick one of those and stay away from this one.
• brian (8/5): - This room is in a great location near many popular attractions and in an area with lots of shops and restaurants. I recommend the restaurant right by the entrance and the bakery/coffee shop few doors in the opposite direction. They are both run by the same beautiful lady. Her staff is excellent, and they don’t play any tourist tricks on you. The streets outside have a lively atmosphere at night to say the least. Room 502 is fairly quiet despite the noise outside. A cab is less expensive than the hotel’s shuttle partner and always available. The shuttle service cancelled on us due to our flight being delayed. We were given room 502. The pictures on Expedia are from 8 years ago. The room is a little rougher than the pictures show. It looks like it is being refreshed little at a time, but it really could use some repairs now. The shower is good with adequate pressure. The bed is a little hard but similar to other hotel beds I have experienced in Europe. The room has working air conditioning. You will probably never see the owner; however, they communicate well by text. They will send you a couple of videos showing how to get in. It’s not difficult, but if you have ANY problems, just watch the video. Inside you will find a narrow winding staircase that goes up to the rooms. There is no elevator. The stairs were not a problem for me, but they may be an issue for some. If you are young and healthy, you won’t have a problem, and you will enjoy the location.
• Stephen (2/5): Disappointing Stay - This was the most disappointing accommodation i have ever booked, 5 nights, the photos of the rooms are from years ago and it old !!!!!! lots of repairs needed. The TV didn't work, after asking about it a number of times and was told it would be looked at? it wasn't until the 4th day I was told the last renter stole the remote for Netflix's. it took four days to replace the bed linen and clean and i had to ask.

El apartamento pensé estaría en peor condiciones por los reviews y honestamente está en regular condiciones pero pudiera estar mejor tiene mucho potencial! Solo es que le arreglen algunos detalles y pudiera estar muy hermoso y la ubicación es de película! Volviera a quedarme pero que le den un poco de arreglo y estaría estupendo.
• Ho Yin (6/5): - I think my rating is pretty objective without any feelings. First off,the location is the best. It is steps from Piazza Novana and other attractions. There are plenty of restaurants around the area and literally downstairs from the suite ( excellent btw). So it is very walkable and the bus and cab stops are a short walk away. The condition of the suite can be better. You can tell at one point this was a magnificent place. They just don't seem to care anymore. Just little things like fixing the toilet paper dispenser and painting the walls and changing some bulbs can make a real big difference. Other than that, bed in the master was good, the secondary bed was not bad either as per my friend. The air conditioning could be better and only reached the master bedroom but not the living room. Shower and toilet worked well. They provided shower gel and shampoo. I think they cleaned the room daily but we just had our towels changed. All the communication is by WhatsApp which was fine. Overall, it was fine to stay and sleep. Might consider even renting again if we go to Rome again as the price vs area can't be beat.

• Frode (4/5): God beliggenhet, lav standard - Leiligheten har en god beliggenhet med nærhet til det aller meste i Roma. Leiligheten er generelt meget slitt, spesielt på våtrom. Ødelagt dusjoppheng, tilstand av mugg på vegger i dusjsone og knapt vanntrykk. Aircondition sliter med å kjøle ned rommet. Oppsummert; er man ikke så kresen på kvalitet så er dette en grei plass å bo da beliggenheten er bra. Man har det man trenger, men ikke noe mer.

• Saloni (2/5): - I would never stay here again. The bed is extremely uncomfortable. Its like sleeping on a plank of wood. The access into the unit was shady. It sometimes worked and sometimes didnt. The unit was something that was put together last minute. The air conditioner didnt work and the shower needs TLC. They are receptive via whatsapp but its not enough. The TV didn't work. I think save your money and stay elsewhere.

Everything is in walking distance, Piazza Navona, Campo di Fiore, Pantheon, shopping areas, tons of restaurants and cafes AND - super rare for Rome - it is QUIET. Beds are great and new. The place could definitely need some beautifying but than all you do there is sleep, so it was no big deal for us. Anna provided excellent service and jumped on any request we had including airport transfers. We stayed in room 503 as a family of 3 and it worked very well

• Verified traveler (4/5): Almost good - Location was great and communication when we were at the hotel was good. There is no reception or people at the ‘hotel’ present so check-in and communication was difficult before arriving. There was a power outage which wasn’t ideal and no one from the hotel there, so I had to let local electricians in after checking fuse boxes myself. The room itself was fine so tbh daily cleaning. Has the potential to be great.
• nadege (6/5): - Appartement très sombre mais très bien situé. Si vous voulez juste un endroit pour dormir, il convient. La cuisinette n'est pas adapté pour cuisiner. 2 tasses, 3 verres, 1 fourchette et 1 casserole 😅. Le frigo marche et micro-ondes aussi même si la porte ne s'ouvre pas complètement. La porte de la douche ne ferme pas totalement. Le lit supposé n'a pas de barrière car elle est cassée. Pour 3 jours c'est bien. Resto dans la rue au pied de l'appartement pas cher et bons. 15 minutes à pied de la fontaine de trevi, 20 minutes à pied du Vatican et à 30 du colisée !
• M (4/5): Lack of maintenance - Superior Double Room 501 comments. Other rooms may be better. Good points. a. Housekeeping every day. b. Free coffee c. Excellent Location surrounded by many dining options. d. Street view from 2 sides as it is a corner room. Bad points 1. Toilet does not flush properly (housekeeping flushed it with a bucket) 2. Shower tray does not drain properly 3. Noisy due to the bars close by. 4. Videos showing how to access the property only arrived at the last minute when I had no data. 5. Digital safe lock has flat batteries. 6. TV remote doesn’t work. 7. No shampoo 8. No spare toilet rolls. 9. Broken mirror with sharp edges is dangerous. 10. Broken socket outlet behind toilet macerater is dangerous. 11. Amazon Fire TV but you need an Amazon account to login. 12. No instructions for the coffee machine. 13. Final straw was when the house keeper took away all the crockery and cutlery. Luckily, I had a spoon with me and used a cup to eat the breakfast cereal out of. It could be really nice if it was managed properly and the requests were answered.
• vickey (2/5): - Photos didn’t reflect the actuality of the suite,, the shower and bathroom window were both moldy, there was dried blood on the mattress. There was no 24 hour desk,or laundry facilities as indicated on the website, the “coffee bar” was extremely misleading. I do not recommend this accomadation.
• annamX6287HR (4/5): Disappointed!!!! - I send emails to the hotel before I come because I was so worried after review on trip advisor but I was been told was a old photos and room now is a renovated!! The room was really bad , dump , damage etc , my son he got allergy on dump and after staying here we need go to doctor !!! Only 1 good things is very close to everything.

No housekeep service for a 5 nights stay! 3. Shower stall does not drain properly! 4. Toilet does not flush properly! 5. Digital safe lock was out of order! 6. TV remote has batteries! 7. No English TV channels provided! 8. Amenities were not prepared properly, opened/used mini bottles provided! 9. Excellent Location surrounded by many dining options!
• marcelino (2/5): - La bañera tenía hongo en las paredes y piso. El espacio de la bañera era demasiado pequeño. El toilet se movía y tenía problemas de barbula de llenado no paraba de tomar agua. Cuando llegue las almohadas estaban sucias , las paredes estaban sucia no había recepción. No hay personal pendiente. El wifi es deficiente. Los cuartos no tienen seguridad todas las habitaciones habren con la misma clave de la puerta. Las fotos que publican en la aplicación de expidia no concuerdan con la realidad de las habitaciones. Las escaleras para subir al cuarto son extremadamente peligrosas. El área de café nunca tuvo café. Cuando tratas de conseguir al personal nunca aparece.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Bra läge men halvfräscht rum - Utmärkt läge mitt bland de många mysiga gränderna och med gångavstånd till många sevärdheter. Rummet fungerar att bo i om kraven är låga: toan läcker, inga hygienartiklar utöver balsam, sitter ett mindre barnvänligt klistermärke på insidan av dörren, finns inget extra toapapper, tandborstglaset har ca 1 cm av gammal tandkräm i botten, och så vidare. Det känns även något osäkert att lämna väskor på rummet då portkod och kod till rummet är densamma - nyckelkortet fungerar inte.
• Francisco (6/5): Não gostei tanto - Apartamento muito bem localizado, fácil de encontrar, porém tenhos dois pontos que não gostei: O vaso sanitário não funciona muito bem … o banheiro precisa ser renovado. Em frente a porta de entrada, devido ter lixo do restaurante que fica em baixo, tem sempre ratos na chegada a noite.

• cristina (10/5): - Es una una casa antigua rehabilitada, la limpieza y atención genial, Anna nos mandó instrucciones para entrar y nos contestó en todo momento, cuando llegamos estaba un chico limpiando y fue muy amable con nosotros, un 10, simpatiquísimo. La habitación tenía buen tamaño, el baño, tenía ciertas deficiencias como la presión del agua en la ducha, pero su localización es impresionante, tienes la plaza navona al lado, lleno de bares, restaurantes, tiendas... Volvería sin.duda. gracias
• YazR (10/5): Perfect Location - We stayed here from 22-25 September! It was easy to find, Instructions from Anna were easy to follow, It was clean and the perfect base for us to explore! Perfectly situated for most sites, we walked 36.5. Miles over the weekend as well as using the metro, train and Big red hop on hop off buses. When we come back we would definitely stay again!
• george (4/5): - We had been in Italy for 3 weeks and this was the worst place we stayed at, we were there 3 nights. The pictures are misleading, everything is shabby, curtains, decorative pillows. Pillows are stained, the comforter a disposable one, falling apart. The shower was the worst with the water backing up, no place to put a bar of soap while you showered, the grate in the shower was filled with hair. The door to the bathroom is broken, you can’t close the door.The lights were all dim with several not working. The big problem was the air conditioning did not work, it was 80 degrees in the room at night, and the windows have to be closed because it is a busy street with 3 restaurants, one directly below the property. The area is great but very noisy, music blasting and noise all night long. The last night we were there only 2 lights worked, the bathroom and one on the desk. Our biggest mistake was we should have left the minute we got there. The housekeeper was very nice and did the best he could with the run down rooms he had to clean.
• Sunshine24730980964 (2/5): DO NOT STAY HERE - DO NOT BOOK THIS APARTMENT THEY ARE CROOKS!!! Where to begin. Booked through buyagift for a two night stay - arrived and the room was in despair. Mould on the walls, leaking pipe under the sink, mould in the shower, nail hanging out in the shower, blood on the pillows, electric fixtures exposed, air con that sounded like a Boeing 747 when on & also leaked water on the floor, the shower head hanging off the wall, dust and grime everywhere and a room that looked absolutely nothing like the photos. Oh and a bed that gave me severe back pain because it was more like sleeping on a slate of bricks than a mattress. Do yourself and your bank account a favour and do not book anything with these absolute crooks who think a reasonable resolution to your complaints is to advise ‘we should of cancelled at the time and we would of been refunded’ - so essentially we should of cancelled after arriving and have no where else to stay on a busy weekend in July during a 40 degree heatwave. Absolute disgrace. I’d like to add also that when we arrived a couple were outside the building after having been told their booking was cancelled - most probably because the apartments were that much a disgrace they couldn’t of let anyone stay. The 10 reviews this property have are outdated and untrue I cannot stress how vile and dirty the place is.
• Nadir (2/5): - AC never worked, fan did not work, shower was falling apart, nothing was done by the representative to fix anything. The property is in a great location, but it is a total mess.
• Claudia (2/5): - Die Unterkunft ist stark reparaturbedürftig. Die Verankerung der Dusche hängt locker an einem Mini-Schräubchen. Das Wasser in der Dusche fließt nicht ab. Überall Kalk und Schimmel. Matratzen weisen Fecken auf, Elektronik als auch Schalter freilegend.
• Marie-Susanna (6/5): - Mitt i den historiska delen av Rom. Nära allt, restauranger, sevärdheter. Tyst biende trots läget. Kommunikationen med boendet svårt. Bl s kom aldrig taxin vi beställt två gånger med hotellet. Ingen egentlig reception/personal fanns på plats. En allt i allo på vissa tider av dygnet. Wc’n slutade spola efter dag 1; turligt nu är mannen i familjen händig så vi kunde spola. Saknade även wc papper. Duschen kunde må bra av städning bl a avloppet. Köksdelen smutsig och mycket bristfälligt utrustad även för en simpel frukost. Den trånga och smala trappan till lgh är inget för äldre. Tyvärr ger bilderna på hemsidan en mycket bättre bild av stället än den är i verkligheten. Men boendet ligger fint mitt i smeten när man hittar dit.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Location is awesome. Period. - The only thing I liked was the location, which is awesome. But, there's no 24 hour front desk, in fact there's no front desk at all. The double bed didn't really fit and for that reason my husbands side of the bed didn't have a nightstand. The shower area, which is really tight didn't even have a shelf or anything where to put the shampoo or soap, the shower courtain would stick to your back while you showered. On our last night in Rome we stayed at a nearby bed and breakfast which had a much better price, and was so much nicer. I wouldn't go back to this hotel unless there was nothing else available, which somehow is what happened to us, as we booked just one month in advance.
• Verified traveler (4/5): No regresaré ni lo recomendaré - No hay recepción ni recepionistas. Dificil comunicarse con el personal del hotel ni responden a la llamada y cuando uno escribe en su chat, tardan horas por contestar. Me dijeron de llamar a las 10pm para ellos reserven traslado para el aeropuerto. A las 10pm nunca contestaron. Total que a la 4am estuvimos sin taxi en la calle y teníamos vuelo a las 6.30am. Mucho estres solo porque nadie te atiende.
• Corinne (8/5): - Hébergement très bien situé, au centre de Rome, permettant de rejoindre tous les lieux touristiques à pied. Quartier animé, mais logement au calme. La présence d'une kitchenette et surtout d'un frigo est particulièrement appréciable. Aucun personnel sur place (seulement 3 chambres et un petit couloir où la machine à café est à disposition), mais joignable assez facilement par messagerie.

• Alicen (10/5): - Ignatius was extremely helpful with my accommodation and provided helpful tips for exploring the city. This property’s location is central and in walking distance to restaurants and attractions. It was a great stay!
• Laura (6/5): - The location is excellent and the value is terrific, compared to other places that have much higher per night costs. The gentleman that runs the front desk is very kind and did a great job making up our room each day. We felt safe at night and appreciate the property arranging a taxi to the airport for us. However, this property has gone way downhill since the online photos were taken. The shower is awful (old and cracked and rusty), the bathroom floor has visible caked on dirt, the A/C barely works to keep the sleeping room cool enough to sleep if you use the fan and keep the door closed to the kitchen and bathroom area (those areas are stifling hot). The walls are dirty with peeling decorations. The bunk bed in the room is falling apart with bent pieces. It needs a good remodel and spruce up as it has gone downhill. We were happy to check out when it was time.

• Cataldo (2/5): Da dimenticare - L’unica cosa che si salva è la posizione e la professionalità del personale che ha cercato di sistemare quello che si poteva sistemare. Stanza buia, sporca e spoglia. Foto del bagno non corrispondenti alla realtà. Bisognerebbe veramente sistemare tutta la struttura, esperienza da non ripetere!!

• Ido0 (2/5): the worst apartment that i ever seen - Be careful! When we arrive to Do Do apartment we felt that the apartment wasn’t clean as we supposed in covid 19 times. The toilet paper stay from the previous people, the lavatory seat was with some dirt, the kitchen wasn't clean. In addition, the facilities in the apartment wasn’t very good, there isn’t lock in the bathroom door and it was difficult to close it,the towels dryer wasn't work, the toilet doesn’t work, when we try to flush water down the toilet work just at the first time in 5-6 hours (when we ask the host to fix it he said that the technician try but fail to fix it.) More over There is an engine under the toilet that makes a lot of noise every time that someone in the building open the water, so every some minutes at night we woke up. When we try to use the air conditioner it wasn't work and just make a lot of noise but without heat the apartment after a Cold day. Don't let the misleading pictures to trick you and destroy your trip. We would not return to DoDo apartment! Be careful!

One recommendation if you come in car park before going to room. Recommend piazza Cavour 28 Euro for 24 hours and it's a close walk to the hotel.

We only stayed for one night, but I will never forget it. The atmosphere is extremely romantic; it combines the elegancy and the modernism of the room with the history and the prestige of the building, which is renaissance style. The welcoming was warm and professional. The manager, Daniel, also gave us a few recommendations on the best restaurants and cocktail-bars in the surroundings, which later revealed to be absolutely a precious and exact advice. On a final not, the room was well cleaned, quite and elegant. It also had a little kitchen. I must say we are satisfied and we will definitely come back as soon as I get the chance.

• K1812TAjuliem (10/5): Perfect location and nice staff - Nice small guesthouse with three cute rooms in a romantic atmosphere. It is located very close to the Piazza Navona and all the big attractions are close by. In our opinion it is located in the area with the best restaurants and sweetest waiters. We didn’t have to use any form of transportation (except airport-transport which the guesthouse helped us arrange). We were welcomed by Ignacious when we arrived. Even though it was late at night he showed us around in the area which was very nice of him. A small negative thing was that we weren’t informed that we had to pay a fee for late night arrival (25 euros). Ignacious was VERY eager to help us with almost everything. We only met Daniel, the owner, very shortly but he seemed helpful and nice. Wouldn’t recommend the guesthouse for light sleepers because there is a lot of noise at night due to the very central location but this didn’t bother us that much.
• seanshisam (8/5): Location! Location!Location - Travelled with party of 5 in last week od Sept! This place is 2 min walk to piazza Navona, 5 min walk to bus 64, (to Termini), 81 (to Vatican City) although Vatican is only about 20 min walk, 10 min walk to Pantheon and Trevi Fountain is about 13 min, 15 min to Colosseum! Close to all attractions!!! ❤️ Beautiful place at night with lots of restaurants and music. Amazingly quiet in the room at night. There is a restaurant downstairs. LoZozzone. Local and delicious food. Daniel is such an awesome host, helpful and quick to respond. Room is well kept and clean. Although its a bit tight for a party of 5 to move around, but it sleeps comfortably. Room is cleaned daily. Only issue I had is that even though we came on last week of Sept, some days are still warm and airconditioning wasn’t working well for the room. Because it gets a little cooler at night , electric fan was a fair compromise. And also the shower is a bit small. Will definitely consider staying here again. Will certainly would recommend to friends and family. Highly recommended
• Ola456 (2/5): Stay away! - Booked a rom here with my family. It was small, in need of renovation, As well as hot and badly cleaned. But the thing that made us leave was ample evidence in the beds of bed bugs and insects. Excrements, pieces of their shells etc. We notified the owner, but he never answered and just tok our money. As we discovered the pests before we unpacked, We avoided bringing any back home. Others may not be so lucky.
• Margherita (6/5): - Hard to find at first but Loved the location! Very close to famous landmarks! The room was overall pretty decent and very accommodating for a family of five however it was very very warm, the AC did not seem to be working!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved the location! Being close to Piazza Navona is wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable, and the online pictures were accurate. A bit tricky to locate, but that is average for many places in the heart of Rome due to the smaller roads and alleyways. The property was secure and quite safe. Walking distance to most anything! The only concern we had was regarding the air conditioning, and this is in no way a negative comment. It gets very hot in Rome during the Summer, with temps ranging into the upper 90's into the lower 100's. Some of the smaller air conditioning units struggle with those temperatures. The sleeping areas were comfortable and the air conditioning did it's job. It was a bit warmer in the shower area, perhaps another air conditioning unit may be added in the future? Communication with David, the manager, was perfect from start to finish! Overall, very happy with them. Thank you!

• kh (6/5): - Location is fantastic but does not expect reception available on site. You will be your own. The property manager is managing more than one properties and only show up for an hour per day. Cleaning service guy only shows up between 12 noon - 1 pm. Overall location is excellent, and the hotel is good shape and clean.
• 213gittee (10/5): Fantastic location in the middle of Rome - if you want to stay in the middle of Rome, but away for the busy roads, and you are able to take care of yourself and don't need a 24/7 reception, this is the place to stay. The room is fantastic and the location couldn't be better only 2 minutes walk from Navona square. And if you stay here please remember to dine at Marias place just outside the guesthouse door. When getting back in the evening enjoy a cup of coffee at the guesthouse sitting in the window an feel the city of Rome in the room. You have your own small private kitchen and a fantastic supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse, where you can buy all what your heart desire. Delicious cheeses, fantastic hams, good Italian bread, and both vine and other beverage, if you want to dine at home for lunch or dinner. If you want an easy access to and from the airport we can recommend Epickup taxi (epickup.it). It was easy an cheap.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good for short city visits - The apartments are great for a 2/3 night stay to Rome - great location, and clean accommodation. Whilst the service we received by email was very good, we did miss having a person on site for advice. The checkin procedure did not work well for us. The room was fine - very small for a family but a typical city centre hotel. The shower was very old and tiny! Still all in all, for very reasonably priced accommodation and the great location I would recommend to others.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Great central location for couple days - We were met by a very helpful young gentleman that checked us in and gave us a map. He also highlighted beat areas to visit and for meals etc. You can get free tea/coffee from machine in hall..... nice touch. Room was nice. Not huge but ok for my husband and I and our 3 year old. Could do with a few more utensils etc as only one mug available for 3 of us! Best part of stay was location. Central to everything. We walked for no more than around 20/25 mins to everything, inlcuding trevi etc which was only 5 mins away. Avoid tourist areas for food. Ridiculously expensive. We were offered a little later check out which we didnt need as were out making most of last couple hours but I'm sure would've been helpful for those with late flights. Really enjoyed our stay. Would recommend.
