• Luís (7/5): Viver Alfama como quem lá vive. - O sofá da sala era bastante confortável, bem como a casa de banho com uma excelente cabine de duche. O brinde de boas vindas também foi bastante agradável de registar e desfrutar. Além disso, toda a iluminação do apartamento é de bastante qualidade. Sempre que o elétrico 28 passa (e não são assim tão poucas vezes quanto isso), até à noite longa e logo de manhã cedo, a casa toda estremece e, se estiver a tentar dormir ou simplesmente a descansar, torna-se bastante desconfortável ou até mesmo irritante. A torradeira estava partida por dentro, numa das bocas, e não funcionava. Também não consegui lidar com o ar condicionado (desligava-se automaticamente). Falta de privacidade e excesso de ruído exterior no caso de querer abrir alguma janela, ou seja, sofri um pouco com o calor, mas sendo uma construção maioritariamente em pedra, deu para atenuar um pouco através desse contraste. Ainda todo o lixo concentrado mesmo à porta do edifício, que denota alguma falta de higiene dos serviços camarários, naquele local em específico.

The apartment overall was very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only downside was that the bathroom didn't have ventilation, and there was a slightly unpleasant smell.

• sebastian (10/5): Perfecto !!!! Sin duda volvería! - Excelente departamento! Buen tamaño, muy limpio y bien equipado……… el baño con una excelente ducha! Muy bien ubicado……. Se accede a todos los lugares caminando…….. el transporte llega justo a la puerta del departamento y al frente hay un cafecito muy rico para tomar desayuno……… la zona es tranquila….. el troley pasa por fuera y mete un poco de ruido….. pero nada que no deje dormir….. Nada……. Me gustó todo!!!

• Ruby (9/5): We loved our location in Alfama! - The location was awesome but we had difficulty navigating the narrow one way streets by car. Because we took wrong turns we were late meeting up with our host. He had another guest to meet up with so we had to wait on the narrow sidewalk in front of our apartment. Antonio gave us a very thorough explanation of the apartment and the area., including recommendations for restaurants, sites and stores. He also put us in touch with a tour operator for Sintra and Cascais. We can’t think of anything we didn’t like about the apartment except that the guests above us walked very heavily.

• Róża (7/5): Ogólnie pobyt udany , dobre miejsce na szybki citybreak. - Plusy obiektu : dobra komunikacja z właścicielami. Super lokalizacja, pod oknem apartamentu jeździ zabytkowy tramwaj. Możliwe wcześniejsze zostawienie bagażu w pokoju. My mieliśmy pokój na parterze. Co do samego apartamentu jest kilka uwag: Czystość no tu można wiele powiedzieć… nie było za czysto , blaty w kuchni brudne , łazienka również nie wygladała czysto tylko z smugami i zaciekami. W samym apartamencie czuć bardzo wilgoć. Okien nie da się otworzyć bo tramwaj dosłownie jest na wyciągnięcie dłoni i każdy się patrzy. Pralka brudna z czarnymi nalotami.

• Emily (7/5): Would probably not stay again due to lack of cleanliness and noise. However might be ok for a short stay of 1-2 nights i - We’re on the ground level apartment. The space itself was set up nice and the bed was comfortable and clean. Well stocked kitchen and good shower pressure. There were dried food stains all over the ceiling and large smears on the wall of unsure what. The aircon was filled with mould and severely needed a clean. The floor and space felt generally unclean. Also the front door of the apartment in the alley way right next to all the bins. Not great for cleanliness and also smell of garbage when you open your door. This was not clear when advertised of course. And the tram runs right next to the bedroom and is super loud every 10 mins along with cars which are super loud on the cobble stones, so if you are light sleeper I would not recommend the ground level.
• lisa (5/5): Misleading - Location was good in the old town with tram 28 literally at your door. Great cafe next door, room was ok, clean with all things you require. The trams start running at around 5.30am and they are noisy so light sleepers beware. Also BEWARE there is NO 24 hr check in reception. This is misleading and if you are met by a person at the premises - If you check in later than 21.00 you must pay an additional €25 in CASH !! I have asked booking.com to look into this as it’s not clear. No 24 hour reception as advertised and 21.00 late fee to check in it’s hardly late !!

• Anuradha (8/5): Great location, great apartment, great stay! - Beautiful property, great views, on a street with the famous tram line, yet there was no disturbing noise. Lovely little balcony. The owner was helpful and allowed us to check out a couple of hours late. The stairs were a bit of an issue but it’s a small price to pay to experience living in the neighbourhood.

De noche es súper tranquilo no se escucha ni un ruido. No recibió Antonio que nos explicó todo e incluso nos pasó recomendaciones para ir a comer y demás. Una sorpresa de bienvenida que fue muy agradable y se agradece. La verdad fue increíble la estadía en Lisboa. Gracias por todo. Está todo perfecto, nos gustó todo.

• Helena Aus (10/5): A joy to come 'home' to. - I loved coming 'home' to this studio apartment each evening. It is fully equipped, has great light, is very comfortable, and the view is a bonus. Being on the famous Tram 28 route was another bonus, as is the location.... an easy stroll down the hill to the most popular lookouts. The booking site photos are accurate. This studio offers a local feeling, with modern comfort. Almost anywhere you go in Lisbon, you'll be walking up or down a hill or stairs, and if you want to be central, you'll have to accept that there will be some noise, in this case, the tram below. I didn't notice it with the modern windows closed, and the stairs don't bother me - but just be aware.

• Janet (9/5): Kommer gjerne tilbake! - Leiligheten var romslig, ren og hadde alt man trengte. Hyggelig velkomst og vi hadde mulighet å sjekke inn tidlig. Vin i kjølekapet var et ekstra pluss! Nært til det meste og trikk 28 rett utenfor. Savnet ikke noe på overnattingsstedet, men det var mulig å forville seg inn i litt skumle strøk på nattestid på veien hjem. Så lenge man holdt seg til de store gatene føltes det trygt.

Seppur ci sia un frequente passaggio del tram, non è stato per nulla fastidioso. • Tania (8/5): Enjoyable - We loved the location and the tram didn't bother us, but we were on the first floor, so could close the windows. The apartment is really lovely. No plug in either of the basins to do washing of any kind or wine glasses - also, one of the water glasses were cracked. They did drop off a plug and 2 wine glasses (thank you!) - of which one was cracked. We we also disappointed that, even though we had to wait to receive the keys until after 17h30, there was no reciprocity for a slightly later check-out due to a very late flight out of Lisbon.

Yes there is noise from trams even on top floor but didn't bother us. Only negative I would say is.. It's not a separate bedroom as stated , it's more of a studio apartment.

Famous No. 28 tram was just outside the front door. Tram noise was a bit loud, but we easily got acclimated to it.

The apartment was very comfortable, also quite nice and the location was perfect placing us immediately into the action. The check-in instructions were very helpful and accurate In addition we were given tips about the local restaurants, night life and entertainment from the co-host Luisa who was very kind and friendly! We communicated about the area with questions throughout our 4 days stay. I would stay there again!

• Cathy (3/5): Walkable to many attractions, too damp for our liking. - Great clean, ground floor location on the tramway and close to many attractions. Was able to check in early. Comfortable bed, equipped kitchen. Extremely damp. Clothing out for next days wear will be damp in the morning. Your towel will never dry. While convenient, the loud tramway right outside our door kept us up on occasion.

Tram stop right outside the house. Several shops within walking distance. You have a kettle and coffee machine, a stove and a hairdryer. Good and friendly stuff. When we arrived the sink was clogged but they drawing it very quickly as we told. We really appreciate it No place to dry your clothes When we were it was raining a few day and nothing drying during a few days.

At the end of the road with souvenirs are fruit and small markets. Very convenient. I couldn't figure out TV. But I don't usually watch TV. Just watched it on the phone. Floor is stone. Be sure to bring slippers.

• Craig (9/5): Superb - Great layout and the location was perfect. Noisy neighborhood and it didn't supply enough toilet paper.
• Dr (10/5): Tagides apartment (top floor with river view): perfect for longer stay, quiet, private. Excellent! - Everything in and about the Tagides apartment on the top floor (only apartment with a river view). Everything was perfect!
• Stephan (10/5): Couldn’t have picked a better location and such a well appointed room. - We loved the location. The amenities were excellent. We walked to the cruise port to end our Lisbon vacation. We will definitely recommend and rebook this location. Our host Antonio was welcoming and a great host! I would have liked a box of tissues, firmer pillows and no ants all over the countertops.
• Kathleen (8/5): Quite a nice apartment for a longer stay. - No breakfast was offered due to it being an apartment. But coffee, tea and wine were made available for us, which was lovely. Perhaps a schematic of the area. The location is in the Alfama, which for first timers can be very confusing. Having the tram stop across the street made use of the tram very convenient and helpful however!
• Sally (9/5): Great apartment in the heart of the alfama district - Lovely little apartment with comfortable bed, good shower and small kitchen. It was in a fun location and despite being on one of the streets with a tram line , they didn’t bother us much.
