- brigitte (10/5): -
- Ellison (9/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Great location for access to train, bus and roads to the surrounding area. - Location great 5 mins from railway station.
Lots of resturants and takeaways minutes away.
Easy access to rest of Cheshire More oven pans and utensils , no prob if you like takeaways.
- Chloe (8/5): Great place to come back to after a day on the train - Super close to the station so good for me as Crewe was a mid-point on my travels.
The bedrooms are nice.
Lots of utilities provided in the kitchen. Not that it's something they can change just something to note, the walls are rather thin between the terraces so if you're a light sleeper I recommend bringing ear plugs.
It could be my issue, but I wasn't able to make the shower warm, only cold or hot.
The TV isn't a smart TV, but lots of DVDs are provided.
- Ann (9/5): - A very comfortable, clean place to stay in a quiet little street. Plenty of clean towels and the added bonus of breakfast essentials. Dana messaged with details of the key code which meant we didn't have to break away from visiting family to book in and could just arrive at the house when we were ready. Would definitely stay again. We would have preferred individual servings of jam and marmalade.
- andrew (9/5): Work trip - Comfy and clean, slept well Parking outside was difficult in a van but we did manage
- Steven (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Excellent stay and service - Clean, great location and Dana was a pleasure to book with.
- Ivanova (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Close to train station Everything was fine
- Valerie (9/5): Very clean. And easy access. - Central location’s , easy access to train stations, take -always and restaurants with easy access car parking on the street. Very clean. Couldn’t get the WiFi to work. But we were out so much that it didn’t bother us too much.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Great location, Good communication and nice place - Difficult to read numbers on keybox but great otherwise
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Frances (7/5): Very good value for money - The property was clean and it was great to have outside space to sit during the evening Very noisy outside and we had to shut the bedroom window
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Haider (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tracey (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (9/5): Lovely little find. - Lovely home, great location in the centre of Crewe. Comfy beds and great communication with host when needed. Fridge needed a good defrost and to be honest it really needs replacing. The tiny freezer shelf was half frozen so we could barely fit anything in. There were a lot of frozen ice packs supplied in the fridge which didn't give confidence that it was working properly. Not much space at all in the fridge no door shelves on it either. Stayed for a week with a toddler so didn't plan on eating out loads. Went shopping before checkin and food we could fit in the fridge froze and frozen items of food we had bought before checking in defrosted and went in the bin before it could be used. Kitchen needed a check over for things like oven trays. One tray supplied that had peeled. I forgot foil to cover it and more peel came off on food. It's a lovely home just needs some attention with kitchen stuff. A fire stick would be great for when there are kids staying too.
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, cozy and affordable. Ideal location for my work trip or for anyone needing to stay near Crewe Station.
- Kershaw (8/5): Well presented house near train station - Clean and well presented. Appreciated tea, coffee, milk and breakfast provided. Ideal location for train station. Shower could be more powerful
- William (10/5): Perfect for our stopover - We used this as a stop over on a trip to Scotland. I was clean, comfortable and quiet, ideal for a restful night. We liked everything
- Jigna (8/5): Great location , good value for money great for a family to rest. - Size, comfortable, nice decor, parking outside, thank you for the cereals and bread. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Crockery could have been cleaner and bins emptied . Shower gel and hand wash filled up would have been great.
- Corinna (8/5): Very good -
- Eleanor (10/5): So much room for the same price as a hotel. - Easy text communication and code for key collection was timely. Parking outside in the street which was as expected. Close to takeaways so didn't need to cook. Even had a small courtyard garden for some fresh air which was lovely in the morning as the heating came on which was not needed! Our fault as we didn't check the night before - radiators had adjustable thermostat.
- Anne (7/5): One night stay for a theatre trip, convenient, free parking - Location, parking, price
Decor is nice, provision of tea coffee sugar milk is a bonus.
Outside space was also useful . Advert stated good breakfast but didnt state what it was, turns out it was a loaf of bread, jar of jam and marmalade, carton of orange juice and 2 spoonfuls of margarine on a plate in the fridge.
Plates in cupboard were wet.
Small individual butter and jam portions would be more economical and less wateful and re the margarine a lot more hygenic .
Bed mattress was far too soft for us and as such we got very little sleep
No washing ip liquid to wash dishes and fan in bathroom is very noisy and should be seperate to the light as its not needed everytime you use the bathroom, especially during the night .
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melinda (6/5): Dana may have a good accommodation but she is a bad and bullying hostess. - The breakfast was basic. The location is excellent and accessible, close to public transport. It is close to supermarkets, within walking distance, and a lot of eateries around. Lack of communication between the owner and booking.com. We requested to check in between 5-6pm on Sunday and check out the same time on Thursday so I could finish my training, return to the accommodation, take a rest and check out with my husband. This request was granted, as we received two separate emails confirming it. On Thursday at 12:01pm I received a missed call from the owner. In the meantime my husband texted me that the owner came at around 12pm and told me that we should have vacated the property by 11am and ordered him to vacate the property by one o'clock. All the explanation about check in and check out time was in vain. I called the owner on my break time, but she was very rude, did not acknowledge the approval of the request (attached herewith), saying she thought it was a mistake. She lacked compassion, empathy and understanding. She demonstrated total lack of leadership and duty of care.
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional - Just a beautiful relaxing house to stay in, very home from home would definitely stay again
- Nigel (9/5): Lovely little house with everything you need - Perfect little place after our family funeral. Will stay again for future parties.
Thank you
- Steven (8/5): Satisfied our criteria - Good value for money. Perfect location and quiet at night.
- Adam (9/5): Thoroughly recommend, great value and nice and quiet - Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Lovely touch to provide breakfast.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- Trevor (10/5): Very enjoyable - It is a very clean, well decorated house. It is a very good home to relax in.
- Paul (8/5): A very pleasant two night stay. - The hosts were very thoughtful and provided more than sufficient items for a breakfast, tea/coffee etc.
The house was very clean, well presented and homely. We enjoyed our two. nights stay. just a minor thing. The shower was good but difficult to get the temperature right without scalding yourself..
- Andyb (8/5): Very good - Location good
- Matthew (9/5): Superb - Everything was perfect just as you need could of done with a decent knife for cooking other than that amazing
- Bolanle (10/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolute Gem in Crewe! - Our stay at Hewitt Place was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped into the beautifully maintained two-bedroom flat, we felt right at home. The apartment was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, making it the perfect home away from home.
One of the standout aspects of our stay was the attention to detail from the host. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a seamless experience. We were pleasantly surprised to find thoughtful provisions, including breakfast essentials, shampoo, and other toiletries, which added a really special touch.
The heating was perfect, keeping the apartment warm and cozy throughout our stay, which was much appreciated. The beds were super comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep, and the entire space was designed for both comfort and convenience.
The location was fantastic which is close to the train station, making it easy to explore Crewe and the surrounding areas. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Hewitt Place is a top-notch choice that truly stands out.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Crewe—it's a **5-star experience all the way**! We’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you to the wonderful host for an unforgettable stay!
- Greg (10/5): like a home from home. much better than staying in a hotel - pleasantly surprised to find breakfast supplied in this style of accommodation
location ideal when working in Crewe with option of catching train in close proximity
very quiet location
- Sharon (9/5): Lovely little house - Lovely clean little place. Have stayed a couple of times. The lady leaves a decent breakfast selection, cereals, bread, butter, marmalade, jam, orange juice, milk. Lots of tea choices, fruit tea, green tea, camomile tea, coffee, drinking chocolate. Comfortable beds, very hot shower. Can't think of anything.
- John (9/5): 2nd time staying. - Clean place and very close to the venue we were attending
- Derek (8/5): Very good -
- Carley (10/5): Great value for money, good communication with owner and quiet location - Quiet location close to everything we needed, we booked the property close to my home to wrap the children’s Christmas presents and to stay with my friend for a girlie night. No fault of the owner as there’s clear instructions of no smoking but was very apparent upstairs that there had been guests whom had smoked cigarettes and it smelt, the owner had obviously cleaned to a high standard but it still smelt.
- Colin (10/5): Comfortable - Very nice property the rooms are lovely and tidy Nothing really had no problems with the property
- Machon (10/5): Excellent facilities - Lovely surprise when we arrived, well furnished and clean, lots of added touches, WiFi, breakfast cereals, tea, coffee and range of herbals, milk and juices in the fridge, bread in the bread in. The bedrooms were equally as well furnished with towels, hair dryer straighteners, phone charging plug. Good communication with owner. Overall pleasantly surprised and will definitely book again Nothing to dislike. Only one suggestion maybe add a lock to the inside of the bathroom door.
- Derek (8/5): Very good -
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect in every way - Lovely place, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Everything you need and lots of little extras.
Just at the back of the town centre but quiet enough - perfect location for us as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Crewe Hall. Nothing it was perfect.
- Derek (7/5): Good -
- Bev (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharron (9/5): Highly recommend , such a lovely place to stay and the breakfast is such a great add on - Immaculate, beautiful and homely Everything was great
- Andrew (8/5): Comfort and convenience, good location and price - Dana is very helpful. I've stayed four times now, and find it very convenient for the station and surrounding facilities. The house is very quiet and comfortable with simple home comforts and basic breakfast bits to get you on the road.
- Abrahim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Agnes (8/5): Very good - Very clean
The kitchen had everything
Lovely breakfast
Good location , near the station Very steep stairs to go upstairs.
Parking Space not always available
- Catherine (8/5): Very good - Lovely apartment, spotless, cosy and everything you need for comfortable stay. Lots of places to eat nearby. On street parking, we found space a couple of streets away which was fine for us.
- Jeannette (8/5): Very good for a one night stay - Position
- Helen (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (9/5): Very comfortable sleep, I would stay here again. - Easy walk from the train station. Plenty of food places within a short walking distance.
The house was clean and tidy. Cereal, tea, milk and juice provided which was a nice bonus.
Contact with Dana was clear, helpful and straightforward. Could do with a hook in the bathroom.
- Andrew (7/5): Very acceptable and convenient for our purposes. - Price, value for money. Overall facilities and comfort Some improvement required in kitchen. Cutlery pretty grimy, no bread or other cutting knives. It must be said, as a terraced property you could hear neighbours on either side at times.
- Cornes (9/5): Nice little stop over - We stayed at Hewitt in Place as a stop over on a trip further North from Southampton. We found the place clean, tidy and well equipped for our needs. We particularly liked the garden - simple clean but very pleasant to sit and have breakfast. Only very minor things such as a lack of hooks in the bathroom to hang towels or clothes. There was also no plug that we could find for the bath. No big deal just mentioning as both are inexpensive updates.
- Stefan100689 (10/5): Great Location and Perfect for Dog Owners - Location, facilities, cleanliness. An excellent stay with lots of goodies put out for our stay - a lovely touch. Towel hooks/rails would be nice for the wet towels.
- Chi (7/5): Good -
- Sharon (9/5): Nice little house - Very clean and comfortable.
- Deanna (10/5): UK 2024 - It was in a quiet street and was perfect from where we had just fled. Nothing
- Joy (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent value, clean, easy access, location perfect. Nothing.
- Sian (8/5): Cute, well looked after house in a run down area. - Cute & cosy little house. Living area & bedrooms decorated well & are clean (as seen in the adverts photos). The area is run down, with overspilled bins lining the street, and nowhere to park. House a couple of doors down had their window boarded up, which didn't fill us with confidence that we were in a safe area.
The breakfast was poor & not like the photos attached to the advert. We didn't expect much, however, did expect it to be edible. There were 2 half loaves of opened bread in the bread bin (one of which was mouldy), and 2 opened cartons of milk. There were Mason jars with a variety of cereals too. There was a fresh butter, jam & orange juice so we went to the local shop in the next street for our own bread. Also, no plates & bowls to eat from!
- Marie (10/5): Great wee house, lovely & clean plenty breakfast cereal left as we arrived late only 2 minutes in taxi to location f - Very clean, would be lovely for a family. Mixer shower very hard to get correct temperature
- Andrea (9/5): Superb -
- Nicebaps (10/5): We will return - Highly Recommended - Hewitt Place was clean, tidy, and exceptionally decorated throughout. The bed was very comfortable. All the facilities worked with no problems at all. Highly recommended and we will be looking to base ourselves there when next visiting Crewe. Hewitt Place was easy to find and is close to all amenities within the local area. The stairs are a little steep but that is part of the property's character. Would benefit a fan particularly in the bedrooms during the warm weather.
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Decor and furnishings were very well done, everything we needed, breakfast was very convenient, bed was comfortable, good location for our visit Nothing to report
- Joanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chris (10/5): Lovely clean 2 bedroom house, great stay, would use again - Excellent host, great communication, lovely well appointed two bedroom property in a great location, off street parking for our large van, town within walking distance, lots around, super clean home. Shower is either too cold or extremely hot.
- Ana (9/5): Great place to stay - Dana was awesome, she accommodated a late check out for us since we had to get on a very late train
The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen big and the living spacious, as well as the rooms.
The location is great to be near the train station, has restaurants nearby and groceries stores.
Aldi was a short walk away.
Wifi was good enough for intense work usage and watching streaming services The kitchen could use some bigger knives and regulating the shower temperature was very hard.
- Angela (9/5): We had a lovely over night stay . - Breakfast was good a nice extra . Property was lovely and clean provided everything we would need . Area was abit run down. Neighbour's noisy . Needs new firm mattresses especially single beds. Stairs very steep which would cos probably for elderly and small kids.
- Rhian (8/5): Very good - Excellent location close to restaurants, takeaways and the station. Easy walk to supermarkets. Very clean and nicely furnished. Tea, coffee, cereal, bread, milk etc provided. Very good value for money. Very steep stairs for elderly or very young guests.
- Susan (6/5): Handy for station but needs shower sorting and beds/duvets improving. - Location great for getting early train from Crewe station which is 5/10 mins walk. Shower was virtually unusable. Water either scalding or cold. Very poor water pressure. Beds old and not very comfortable.
Smell of cat’s pee was very strong on arriving.
- David (9/5): Apart from the fraud attempt, it was an excellent stay. Thank you. - Excellent all through. Our hostess was in touch with us and welcomed us warmly.
The location was just hat we hoped for as we had a funeral to go to in Stockport on the Wednesday. The worrying thing was a fraud about the payment procedure. We expected our host to charge us £161.04 the day we arrived. She had our card details, but was refused. Then on Wednesday, a fraudster phoned me to fine me £72 on my card for late payment. He was threatening and unpleasant. Wednesday evening our host tried our card again and was refused. I phoned her and gave card details of another account, so all was well. I had phoned Natwest and on Thursday they phoned me having unearthed the fraud, and blocked the £72 threat. so again al was well. I had never before had booking.com arrange payment direct to our host. Do contact me further if you want more detail.
- Ann (9/5): Lovely place, would certainly return. - Everything - we had a very comfort stay. Nothing
- Jayne (9/5): Enjoy - Is lovely in every aspect
Clean tidy and comfortable Nothing
- Ashney (8/5): Great - Have stayed here a few times now, really enjoy the stay. Easy, commutable and walking distance to all amenities. Comfortable and easy to communicate with the agents. For me personally, a few replacements of pans and maybe an easier shower. It's either too hot or too cold.
But no other issues really
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional - Communication from host was excellent
House was perfect and everything there that was required.
- Robert (10/5): Beautiful little house. X - Beautifully decorated and clean. Had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Host was wonderful and very helpful. Will definitely book again!
- Mary (8/5): Very good -
- Lynda (10/5): Home away from home for a good break. - Good position
Roomy & comfortable with well equipped kitchen.
Yummy biscuits in the jar - thank you. Had to be careful with the steep staircase.
- Joao (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kathy (9/5): Very good. - This little gem of a property was beautifully presented, very comfortable ,very clean and everything you would want for a short stay away. There was a selection of breakfast cereals ,fresh juices and milk in the fridge, and bread in the bread bin .It was very close to the Railway Station which was exactly what we needed.Street parking was fine just outside the door . It didn’t affect us directly but the stairs are very steep .
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Well equipped apartment. It was equipped with what we needed for our short stay. The kitchen cookware could use a refresh. Please don't use air fresheners as some people are sensitive to strong artificial fragrances. There were foods that should have been thrown away.
- Lynne (10/5): Lovely accommodation recommend - Lovely accommodation .. very stylish and spotless stay ..everything you could need and a lovely bonus of breakfast provided thank you Nothing to dislike
- Alice (6/5): Great price and facilities, but off-putting smell of cigarette smoke. - The flat was very spacious for the cost, and the kitchen had everything we needed (apart from we couldn't find a colander which would have been useful!). Comfortable sofas, clean and comfortable beds. Unfortunately there was quite a strong smell of cigarette smoke everywhere which bothered us quite a bit. And the neighbours were quite loud - we could still hear them talking loudly at 2am.
- Anthony (10/5): very good with everything provided.close to shops and plenty of eateries - Breakfast was fine.Everything was provided including hairdryer and toiltetries nothing
- Somers (10/5): very close to were we were going . - just what you needed to start the day . no instruction on how to work hot water heater.
- Roy (8/5): Comfortable, clean & was able to relax in the property. - Clean & tidy. The street it is in was very busy with take away couriers.
- Nigel (8/5): Very handy to where we were going and still cheaper than the Hotels close by. - N/A The stairs were dangerously steep for a 78 year old man. Made carrying suitcases up and down stairs difficult. Extract fan in the bathroom was very noisy. Did not work out how to use Central Heating until just as we were leaving but no worries luckily not particularly cold that night.
- Cindy (10/5): Such a fabulous treat, a real gem of a property, great host. Extremely comfortable and enjoyabl stay - Absolutely beautiful, modern, spotless, comfortable and very well-equipped house. Really enjoyed our stay, great location close to train station. Fabulous host x Having to leave
- Kathryn (8/5): Very good -
