• Thomas (8/5): Abseits des Rummels - Die nette Besitzerin hat alle Mankos wettgemacht. Sie hat uns herzlich betreut und ein sehr leckeres und vielfältiges Frühstück angeboten. Wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Die ganze Anlage müsste mal wieder richtig auf Vordermann gebracht werden. Vor allem die Außenanlagen, Garten und Pool hätten es dringend nötig. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil wenn man zum Essen oder Einkaufen in den Ort möchte.

Ils nous ont transmis toutes les informations en amont pour venir en bus de Chiang Mai. Le logement était spacieux, la décoration authentique! Nous avions une belle vue sur la rivière Kok. La piscine n'était pas fonctionnelle à cause du dernier tremblement de terre, ce n'était pas un problème pour nous. Les propriétaires nous ont réservé le bateau pour descendre la rivière Kok et nous ont déposés à l'embarcadère. Nous recommandons cet hôtel! Rien.

• Shell (8/5): Hillside hideaway - The room was spacious and well equipped with kettle, fridge and wardrobe. We have found these lacking in some places we have stayed. Our room had a large patio with nice seating and we enjoyed sitting out after a busy day in the heat. It was a good breakfast and the food in the evening was also very good . The pools were not in use making the grounds look neglected.
• Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - The nature was beautiful It felt like the resort has been left a bit- the fan was very dirty, the faucet in bathroom dripped, the water pressure was minimal in shower, door handle loose when all it needed was to tighten screws- the pools were mostly empty and the grounds looked a bit worn. The bed was very old and worn out and sagged in the middle

• Orly (10/5): Exceptional place and service - We booked 2 rooms in Old Tree’s House and the place is exceptional. We stayed in 2 beautiful, cozy, and comfortable bungalows with a terrace in the midst of a lovely garden. The view and the atmosphere were so relaxing that we extended our stay. Nid, the owner, is a lovely lady, speaks very good English, and very helpful. She is also an excellent cook so we went to the market with her in the morning and brought fresh fish and vegetables and then had an amazing dinner cooked by the owner. The hotel is located about 600m from Tha ton town center/boat pier. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Tha ton.

• Stephen (10/5): Wonderful retreat in Tha Ton - Lovely, small, secluded resort just 500m from Tha Ton bridge. The owner, Nid, was really helpful. She picked us up from the bus station, advised on good places to eat in town and booked our onward travel by boat to Chiang Rai. The bungalow was lovely with large patio beside a swimming pool. We only stayed a night but it was a great place to relax and we wished we'd stayed longer! The freshly cooked breakfast was great with beautiful views over the valley.

• Philipp (9/5): Beautiful retreat in the midst of northern Thai nature. - Travellers should be aware that tourism in this region has suffered greatly in the last three years. Many accommodations and restaurants are still struggling to survive. Nid is a warm-hearted, helpful hostess who is happy to support her guests in all matters. The beautiful complex is 5-7 minutes walk from the centre. From our bungalow we had a wonderful view over the valley and into the garden. Definitely a good place to read a book in peace and enjoy the surrounding nature.

• Ab (10/5): Exceptional - - A pool in front of my hut. - Good bed. - The hut is spacious and well designed. - A patio to relax in the evening. - A shortcut to my hut: walking through an orchard. - Breakfast with lots and lots of fruits. - Topped by all is staff (Nid). After COVID tourism is still slow and so opportunities for trips. Nid consulted with me about my preferences. Then she managed to adjust the standard trips to the current situation. That gave three awsome days. Honestly, second time in about 50 hotel bookings that nothing could have been better.
• Megan (7/5): Good - Beautiful views, nice bungalow, very nice woman running the place who helped us set up a trekking tour and the boat to Chiang Rai, very helpful. It’s a bit dated and run down, no a/c even in the more expensive room, breakfast is overpriced. If you don’t like walking stay closer to the centre of town—this is a 10 min walk into town along a busy road.

• Pascal (3/5): This hôtel should be avoid for some months - Sheets and towel smell good in the clean bungalow which is ruined by the pool near the entrance and terrace. The water is green-browned in th swimming pool behind the bungalows, and it's the same with the pool behind the reception. Guests have to stay in front of these dirty pools. Beurk
• Anonymous (4/5): Disappointing - Nid is very nice. The place is nice and Thaton is a beautiful town. Breakfast is delicious. We were very disappointed as the pool in front of our bungalow was simply empty and the owner didn't seem to mind and suggested we swim in the other pool next to the restaurant... which was green. In short, no way to swim even though we had booked partly because there was a pool. You can also feel that the place is not very well maintained. It's a pity, because it's a beautiful place. As a result, the price/quality ratio does not follow: much too expensive for what it is.

• Joel (10/5): Jardin unique, confort total! - Petits bungalows situés dans un jardin botanique à flanc de colline d'une qualité exceptionnelle, cadre unique, accueil chaleureux, accès facile, restaurants à proximité... Equipement complet, rien ne manque, jusqu'à la bouilloire, cuvelle plastique pour lessive, séchoir sur la terrasse etc... Jolie piscine à débordement mais évidemment non privative et de surcroît assez rapprochée des habitations donc les amoureux de la tranquillité absolue préféreront une chambre avec vue sur jardin, qui est une petite merveille.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - We were staying at the furthest 'hut' from the reception area and whilst every other room had a lovely dedicated area in which to lounge we had a rickety platform with no cushions. Pools look lovely but there was no sign of any filtration system in use and the tiles are lethal slippery. Lots to recommend, staff, free shuttle bus etc, so maybe unfair to concentrate on the negatives. Overall a decent place to stay for a few days

Despite a sign in the room advising opening hours of the restaurant, it was closed when we tried to have dinner which was disappointing as we then had to walk into town. It was the only hotel we stayed in that did not include breakfast. Whilst we had read that breakfast was 160 baht we were told on the day that it was 170 baht. We did not eat there
