- Brechje (5/5): Prima huisje maar jammer van de communicatie en van het beheer van de huisjes. - De ligging. Vlakbij het strand. Het huisje zelf was van alle gemakken voorzien. Badkamer ietwat verouderd maar het werkte allemaal. De communicatie! Vanuit de beheerder was totáál geen betrokkenheid. Drie huisjes als snel verdienmodel. Kleinzoon die blijkbaar de financiën regelt tovert bij het eerste contact direct het pinapparaat tevoorschijn en vraagt om het whatsappnummer. De rest van verblijf verloopt contact via whatsapp. Vragen worden pas na paar dagen beantwoord. Ook de vragen die ik voor aankomst stelde via booking.com werden niet of na herhaaldelijk vragen pas beantwoord. Ik heb me echt een beetje verloren gevoeld. Zo anders dan ik gewend ben. De werknemer die ‘‘s morgens het ontbijt bracht is overigens heel aardig. Er was geen contact met andere gasten. Als je graag op jezelf bent en geen bemoeienis wil, is dit the place to be. Als je graag ook wat informatie wil over het eiland en waar je wat kunt doen en als je een leuke gemeenschappelijke ruimte wil met een ‘receptie’ als aanspreekpunt, dan moet je hier niet zijn.

- Jasmin (9/5): Urlaub im Paradies - Die Privatsphäre war phänomenal. Es war wie Leben als Aufsteiger, weg von all dem Stress mit dem Stand vor der Haustür. Der Service war hervorragend und die Menschen sind einfach nur Gastfreundlich. Das Hotel ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, ein wenig Pflege und das Ding ist wieder Tip top aber es stört nicht am Charme des ganzen.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Really fun, comfortable and convenient little place. - The location was excellent; it isn’t in the more dense part of the island and I counted about 190 steps from the door to the water. staff are excellent; very helpful, available and accommodating. The breakfast menu was limited but the food is nicely prepared and tasty. The mostly private outside area (with a fan) & the courtyard in front to the room are comfortable. The small “drinks bar” is well-stocked and the activities area is run by a couple very nice young men. We really enjoyed this personable 3-room “hotel” that felt more like a private cottage. The shower head was not working properly, but since the handheld part did, it wasn’t a problem. Also the bed was a little soft for us, but that may be we like a rather firm mattress and this one was medium.

- Kalina (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The bungalow had its own private yard, which gave us amazing privacy and space — truly priceless. Having our own outdoor area with palm trees made all the difference. The location is unbeatable — literally just 2 meters from the beach, in the most beautiful part of Ukulhas. It truly felt like a resort experience, exactly what we were looking for. We didn’t want a standard hotel room — we wanted to see palm trees from our bungalow and have sand right in front of us. And that’s exactly what we got. The service was outstanding - Mehеdi was amazing, and the owner we communicated with was incredibly kind and responsive. There ware 4 breakfast option available, and they even accommodated my special breakfast request, which we really appreciated. We also had the opportunity to cook our own freshly caught fish — such a unique and memorable experience! The place might be slightly older in terms of equipment, but the feeling and atmosphere are absolutely irreplaceable. Peaceful, authentic, and incredibly relaxing.

- Camille (3/5): - L’emplacement proche de la plage et la gentillesse du personnel qui a compensé un peu la médiocrité de la chambre. - L’organisation du speedboat était catastrophique et pas claire du tout. - La publicité mensongère de l’annonce disant qu’il y a une vue sur mer directement alors que non. C’est une vue sur la rue, certes pas loin de la mer mais loin de ce qu’on imaginait. - L’état général de la chambre est sale, les murs sont remplis de moisissures. - Il y a des fuites d’eau dans la salle de bain. L’évier et la colonne de douche sont cassés et rouillés ce qui fait qu’il y a de l’eau par terre en permanence. - sur l’annonce il était également indiqué qu’il y a Netflix ou autre programmes mais ce n’est pas le cas. - il devait également y avoir des produits d’hygiène, nous en avions mais ils étaient déjà utilisés ce qui donnait un air non professionnel - un mini frigo inutilisable n’inspirant pas confiance celui-ci étant plein de rouille - nous avons réservé un bungalow de luxe mais nous avons eu 2 lits jumeaux accolés, donc pas conforme au descriptif Il y a un réel manque d’entretien des bungalows à l’extérieur comme à l’intérieur, ce qui est inacceptable au vu du prix de la chambre.

- Sara (8/5): Next to beach. Large comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff - It was nice to have our own space with a patio and area with sun beds. The main room was large with a bed and sofa. A fridge as well as kettle. The TV didn’t work There was a choice of breakfasts that you chose the night before. Cooked fresh. The staff were lovely. Across the road is their beach area where you can hire jet skis etc. There are sun loungers and direct access to the beach. It was windy when we were there so the sea was a bit rough. There was music and karaoke a couple evenings. They also run a juice bar. You have to walk through other guests’ space to get to communal area. One of the sunbedd was broken and there weren’t any cushions for them but it wasn’t a problem. The drains did smell a bit in the bathroom probably because of the rain.

- Ann-Kathrin (6/5): - Gute Kommunikation vor Ankunft und Abholung am Hafen, leckeres einheimisches Frühstück Wir haben die Unterkunft gebucht mit der Annahme, dass die Bungalows direkt am Meer liegen. Wir haben den bekommen, der am nächsten dran ist, trotzdem liegt noch eine „Straße“ dazwischen und der Wassersport Anbieter, der aber auch zur Unterkunft gehört. Im Bett war eine Feder kaputt und die Klimaanlage hat direkt aufs Bett gepustet. Aus diesen Gründen konnten wir mit unserem Baby dort nicht gut übernachten und haben nach einer Nacht um eine Stornierung gebeten. Zwar sind dafür noch Kosten angefallen, die restlichen Nächte haben wir aber erstattet bekommen.

- Valeria (7/5): - The location is exc! Right across from the beach. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. They provided a big bottle of drinking water daily, which was convenient. The breakfast that was included was good and they had several options to choose from. They were even nice enough to pack it to go on my last day, as I had to take the early boat out. It is more run down than what is shown on the pictures. There was a leak under the sink and the room itself was a bit dusty. There were no lounge chairs outside the room, as shown on the pictures. No staff is around, all communication is via whatsapp.
- Robert (10/5): Lots of fun, great hosts and adventures! - Regardless of the accommodation, the appliances, the surroundings, the beach, or the food, I must praise the hosts. They tried so hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible that it is difficult to put into words, and I am truly grateful for that. They met all our needs and provided as much assistance as possible when we encountered any problems. All praise for their effort and kindness. The accommodation itself is in a great location on the small island of Ukulhas, next to a beautiful beach with palm trees. The only possible drawback of the accommodation is that in two locations next to the bed, it can get a little wet if there is a big storm, but it is not a big deal because it is just drops, and that is why I mention it in the positive rating. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning and fan are good, and the small garden that the accommodation has is great for relaxing.

- Martina (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay! On the island of Ukulhas, this was by far the best accommodation. We especially loved the private terrace, the spacious rooms, and the tasty breakfasts. The guesthouse is located very close to the beach, where you can also rent various sports activities. There’s quite a lot of construction happening on the island, which takes away a bit from the beautiful natural surroundings, but the beaches are still amazing with plenty of shade. Fortunately, there was no construction next to Beach Villa Ukulhas, so we could enjoy our stay without any noise. The island has excellent restaurants and plenty of shops where you can buy some small things. The people all around the island were very kind and welcoming. We had everything we needed for a great stay.

- Christy (10/5): Small BnB, comfortable, helpful, personable management, nice location. - A very small BnB with 3 rooms and very personalized caring assistance. Comfortable and nicely decorated rooms with a lovely garden in front of each unit. Steps from the "bikini" beach and good swimming/snorkeling, some of the best that I did during my 5-island trip. Beach towels and lounges provided. Great communications and help in getting to the island which in the end is easy as they will arrange for your speedboat trip to Ukulhas and leaving as well, they pick you up at the port. (free of charge) Ukulhas is developing, it has a number of decent restaurants, a few small markets and a portside produce market . It is not the friendliest island but it has a bit more to offer. The area preceding the beach which seems to be a bit of a "no mans land" is disorderly, but it is everywhere on the island. The narrow beach is pretty and nice to be on however. A little TLC here and there would be in order but overall in good condition. There is a lot of construction going on and it is a bit untidy as islands go, there is a hulk of a 12 story hotel going in and once it is in, this will not be a great place to go, the number of people would overpower the island, sadly. Who knows what this island will be like in 5 years.

Nice design/garden. - Very close to a nice beach (bikini allowed beach) in a quiet area; the little "courtyard" garden was lovely to look out on. The host was so responsive and helpful. Very likeable people, very sincere. There are relatively few places that are actually on the beach, here your room (one of 3, nice small BnB) is a 1-minute walk and you are in the water where there is really very nice snorkeling (coming from someone who came here to snorkel). The beach is generally clean, and the hotel has some lounges. The air temperature is nice, as is the water, the sea is clean and clear. There is a resident turtle! The breakfast was always good (standard Maldivian or continental - great pancakes. I felt that I had good privacy, a very tranquil place to stay for a single woman traveller. There is a lot of construction going on around the island, a bit unsightly, but this has no bearing on the BnB which I think is one of the nicest on Ukulhas, - after doing a lot of research and seeing what is there. The strip of tropical forest preceding the beach, could be kept nicer, lots of paraphernalia for water sports around, cluttered. Not sure who this depends on, may have nothing to do with the BnB.

- Jane (10/5): Great little villas on the best beach in Ukulhas - These little villas are in an amazing location right by the beach in Ukulhas. Just a 20 seconds walk from your room and you are on the bikini beach with sunbeds provided. There are amazingly clear waters, cafes, watersports and everything else you need. The villas were spacious with very comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The staff were super friendly and breakfast was delicious. They arranged the transfer from Male Airport and met us at the port when we arrived and transported our luggage, which was really helpful. A safety box in the room would have been helpful. The bathrooms could also do with a little bit of an update. The villas are located on the most lively beach on the island and in the evenings they do have loud music sometimes. The few nights we were there it was pretty loud from around 10-12pm.

Ismail is beyond wonderful helping with everything to make the travel and stay easy. His sister makes the most wonderful breakfasts! There is a great beach club, sometimes not all the time, the music can make it hard to sleep. However, we were early sleepers as we dive early in the morning. For most, I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem.

- Frida (9/5): Beach blisss .. calm and surreal.. - Decent size rooms and almost in the beach. We were picked up from the harbour and our host was very polite and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a small island so everything is within a 5 minute walk.. Rooms were clean. Nothing to pout anyone off but just to highlight, Some of the parts of the room are a bait dated, like the bathroom fittings and the front glass door.. but it’s expected from an island villa with the sea so close by.
- Eunyoung (10/5): a lovely place with a heavenly underwater environment - A wooden bungalow right in front of Bikini Beach. With many tropical plants, it's a bonus to have privacy! Especially, this place has lovely and friendly host Ismail, which makes me want to go again. As well as booking round-trip speedboat tickets between the airport and Ukulhas, I was able to quickly get information on snorkel points of sharks and turtles, low tide/high tide time schedules, and various excursions. Especially during Holiday in the Maldives, even though it was hard to get life jackets due to the large number of locals, he found it for us for more than half a day, making our snorkeling safer and more enjoyable. At around 8 p.m., he asks what to eat among the five menus, and when we decides on the breakfast and sends it, he prepares a hearty breakfast the next day at the time we want. And If you apply every day, they can clean your room. Highly recommended! 👍✨ If you are receptive to the island's overall matters, there is nothing particularly regrettable.

- Anuar (8/5): Great stay overall - Ismail was very helpful. The place is very nice. I loved the local mashuni breakfast. The beds were joint twin beds instead of a proper queen bed. This made my back hurt. The following part of the comment has nothing to do with the property but is important for other tourists: Maldivian islands are a paradise. However, some locals and tourists have very little understanding of that throwing garbage on the island or in the seas is something that can kill the tourist business. The islands are mix of beauty and garbage. Also, people should be aware that the infrastructure is also a mix beautiful and some old and dirty buildings. I did not go to Bali because my dad told me it is filthy. I will also be telling the truth about Maldives. It is a paradise but with a lot of garbage.

- Tsveti (9/5): Fantastic! - The place is what I absolutely imagine on the Maldives - simple bungalow with a nice patio in front of it all covered in lush greenery. It has AC inside (you need it as the weather quite humid even outside of rainy season) and a fan outside which also helps in the hot and humid evenings. Inside the bungalow has everything you need - very comfortable bed, a small and a bigger pillow to choose from, nice open wardrobe, a sofa, TV ( never switched it on) and a table with hot water maker and nes coffee. The host is also very helpful - he gave us beach towels and changed them when we asked. I loved the breakfast - he gives you a list of 4 types of breakfast to choose from- 2 Maldivian and 2 international. Loved the Maldivian called mashuni. We also spent my husband’s birthday there and the host helped me organize a nice chocolate cake for him. The location of the Beach Villa is fabulous- away from the 2 big constructions going on and enough far from the one party place on the island. Yet just 3 steps away from the beach, basically you just cross a 3 meter sandy road and you are on one of the best beach areas with lots of great palm shadows!!! Bathroom needs a little repair as wooden parts are blown due to humidity and the door wouldn’t close.

If you are travelling with a small child(like us), this is probably not the best place for you as it gets noisy (loud music from the beach) in the evenings. The music usually stops around 10pm so unless you go to sleep super early, it's not a problem.

Lots of individually controlled lights. Big bathroom with large shower. Beautiful private garden area with tropical gardens, fruit trees and seating areas with perfect view of the water just beyond the road. Excellent location close to beaches and restaurants. Hairdryer and electrical adaptor, mosquito repellent plug-in device were much appreciated. Ismail was very friendly and helpful, always answered our messages quickly. Good breakfasts, Maldivian and other types. It was so nice to have use of a fridge to keep water and snacks cold and fresh. We had some fresh picked star fruit from the property and water apples from nearby, a real treat as tourists. Often very noisy at night with loud music and off-key karaoke singers till 2 a.m. one night and till midnight another night. Made it impossible to sleep. Otherwise the music was excellent and added to the relaxing atmosphere when played any time of day till about 10 p.m. Sometimes loud scooters and local people talking late at night. Large bed was made up of two single mattresses which sometimes separated in the middle, needed constant adjusting. Outdoor breakfast eating area could be made more attractive.

He was able to help us with organizing diving trips, airport transfers and all our needs. Eating out is cheap and the beach is 50m from the apartments 9hr flight from Austria. wish we lived closer.

The room in the bungalow is clean and large with a well-kept garden. Excellent breakfast to choose from: classic or Maldivian, with home-made fruit and juice, coffee or tea. And above all, a friendly, helpful and reliable owner who meets all your wishes. Shops and restaurants nearby.

- 93Rus (10/5): Best location - Nice place. The level of amenities is quite good. AC is working as expected. WiFi is okay. Bed is comfortable. A lot of pillows. Breakfast is the same like everywhere. Not fancy, not a lot of food, but it is in general the same everywhere on Maldives. Water in the sink doesnt pass through though. Best thing here is the beach in 1 minute walk. There is some space to sit and relax, but territory is tiny. There is no garden.
- Tomas (10/5): The best stay ever - Originally we came for only three nights, but in the end agreed on two more, so we could enjoy more of the hospitality. The staff was the best you can imagine and was helping us with everything. One night we got a free fish BBQ as there was fishing trip organized with other guests. They have also arranged a snorkeling trip for us and helped us the most with organizing transfer for one night to and from the other hotel resort island. On top of that they prepared for us a shell we have found in the sea. The best stay during our whole 3 weeks holidays!
- Verified traveler (4/5): Did not meet our expectations - We stayed at Ukulhas Villa in January 2018. The overall hotel experience could have been better. Considering what we paid for our stay, the hotel did not meet our expectations. When arriving to the hotel, our first impression was that it does not look as good as the pictures. The rooms were quite small and very simple. Although, the rooms were brand new and always clean. The bathrooms were ok but according to the website, free toiletries were supposed to be included. However, you were only offered shampoo and shower creme in dispensers in the shower. Fresh towels and bed linens were only given upon specific request and sometimes they only folded the old damp ones. The WiFi worked very poorly due to broken routers that they didn’t fix despite reminding them about the issue many times. The breakfast was served on each room’s outdoor space and was extremely simple and did not in any way looked as the photos. Another shocking and very unprofessional matter was that one of the staff members was sleeping on a mattress on the reception floor every night. The positive aspects of the experience was that the hotel had a very appealing location next to a beautiful beach. Furthermore, the staff offered to bring down sunbeds and umbrellas to the beach every morning. Just for your information, the island conforms to a strict muslim culture. This means there is no alcohol on the island and women need to cover themselves when not on the beach.
- luke (8/5): Arrived as visitors left as friends - situated across the rd from the beach, you can hear the sea! nestled in a beautiful garden. Beach villa is a lovely stay. Chico and his family are always there for your every need. Food is good and reasonable in price. Our weather was not good but the guys did all they could to improve our time there. Even got us a cake for our wedding anniversary! We arrived as visitors, left as friends. Thank you guys
