• Allison (10/5): Perfect and tranquil. You feel the Yakushima magic at this property - Samana is a special place! I would recommend anyone visiting Yakushima to stay here. You feel the magic of the island at this property. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us in everything we wanted to do. The food is exceptional. The onsite onsen is very clean and tranquil. It was also was never crowded and felt exclusive. The property itself is stunning, rooms are very spacious and we had our own private balcony. The 360 deck is quite a treat, especially for sunset. All the staff was absolutely incredible, special shoutout to Yasu who made us feel extra welcome and provided many smiles during our stay! We hope to be back one day.

• Daniel (7/5): Bon hôtel mais... - La chambre était confortable, spacieuse et bien équipée. Le personnel est très agréable et attentionné. L'onsen et le rotenburo sont biens. La mauvaise surprise du prix du dîner / buffet qui n'a rien d'exceptionnel mais qui coûte 8800 Yens (50€) par personne! Aucun tarif ne figure sur le site internet dans la rubrique dîner, aucun affichage à l'entrée du restaurant. D'autres clients ont déjà signalé ce prix abusif.
• Tina (10/5): Highly recommended - 整體而言非常推薦！ 飯店不是非常大但新穎有質感，房間走日系+北歐風寬敞舒適讓人很放鬆，早餐和晚餐（另購一人8800日圓有live kitchen)都好吃且會更換菜色，另有可看海景的露天溫泉，lobby層有360度terrace可賞夕陽，中秋節看到海上升明月非常漂亮！ 飯店服務尤其讓人印象深刻，工作人員都面帶笑容且非常樂於助人，包括我預訂當地bus tour選飯店接送，check in時櫃檯已收到通知並主動提醒明天集合時間，晚餐吃到一半餐廳人員還會主動提醒日落時間，帶我們去terrace看夕陽+拍照，bellman也非常貼心且會認人，check out當天吃早餐時拖著行李，就主動幫我放好，出來等巴士時再幫我拿出來，全程不用我說一句話詢求幫助，還幫家人一起在門口拍照，因Samana Hotel讓我們在屋久島渡過三天兩夜美好的假期～

• Miho (10/5): - 改装されて１年との事で、とても綺麗なお部屋でしたし、温泉もかつてないほどぬるっとした美容液に浸かっているかのようなお湯で大変リラックスできました。又朝食のビュッフェは数も豊富で屋久島や鹿児島の名産を十分に楽しむ事が出来ましたし、なんと言っても美しい海を堪能できる素晴らしいロケーションです。正直少し古臭いホテルかとあまり期待していませんでしたが全然そんな事はなく、次回も必ず泊まりたいホテルになりました。オシャレスポットがあまりない屋久島で、リゾート感も楽しみつつ、お手頃な値段を求めている方にはぴったりだと思います。Aコープが近いのも安心でした。

The price was high. The restaurant was beautifully presented however the food was not good but not great and quite expensive.

Onsen: awesome. Extremely clean, water temp was perfect, water was a little alkaline, but too much to where you need to rinse it off afterwards. The price! Super expensive, but so absolutely worth it.

Property has nice onsen and good onsite restaurant. - Because the property sits on a spit of land at the southern end of Yakushima, you can actually enjoy both sunrise and sunset from the rooms and/or the main terrace. Also, the food was delicious. We had dinner at the restaurant our second night - an amazing course meal of local specialties. But if you don’t eat at the restaurant, there’s not much around. And the restaurant doesn’t offer a la carte.

• Verified traveler (8/5): 程よく優れたホテル - 清潔感があって、快適なホテル。 設備もサービスもそうラグジュアリーなわけでもなく、かと言って、そう質素なわけでもなく、程よい贅沢感が快適さにつながっている気がする。 部屋は、シービューとマウンテンビューに分かれていて、わたしは海側を選択。雄大な海の景色が広がる。全く人目を気にしなくてよいので、存分に景色を楽しめる。ただ山側も美しいモッチョム岳を眺められるのでは？ 客室はベッドスペースと畳敷風の空間がひと続きになっていて、それ以外の空間に段差があった。この段差が意味不明で、テーブルと椅子が置いてある空間が狭くなってしまい、動き辛くなるほどだった。畳敷風の空間を生かせなかったことも相まって、コンパクトな印象。設備が新しく、清潔感はあったが。 畳敷風のスペースは小さいお子さんとか遊ばせるにはいいのかも…。反対に、せっかくのバルコニーにイスもテーブルも何もないのは残念。 サービスは人によると思う。正直、ホスピタリティーを感じさせられる対応力のある人は少ないのかも。特にフロントとか。 別に手を抜いているわけではないのだろうが、素のまま過ぎて、素っ気ない印象。 でも、その分、こちらも全然頑張らなくていい感じだから、リラックスできると言えるかもしれない。
