- Rebecca (8/5): Lovely restaurant & great staff - Fab location. Amazing food. Brilliant with dogs 🐶 Too warm in the rooms, couldn’t change heat; so opened windows, very loud. Could hear the fire doors slamming all night so not a good nights sleep 😔

- Ioana (10/5): I 100% recommend this hotel - Everything was top notch! From the entire premises to the room, staff, food. The most surprising thing was how clean the room was! Amazing experience
- Sasha (10/5): Great stay in amazing location. Will be my go to location in Keswick! - Great location, great breakfast, lovely room, friendly staff. Also, a good value for how posh it was! Room didn’t have temperature control. The room was too warm for us at night so my husband opened the window. Unfortunately, both nights, we had a pigeon fly into the room, so that was a downside.
- Ann (7/5): -
- Joanne (10/5): - Super dog friendly and great staff
- Colin (9/5): -
- Jill (10/5): - Staff very professional, attentive and friendly The location was perfect. Nothing too much trouble, staff go the extra mile and very friendly.
- Denise (10/5): - Love staying at this hotel. Great location.
- Barbara (9/5): - Was comtetbal clean and friendly
- Chris (6/5): Too many barking dogs - Good position Too many dogs
- Rachel (10/5): - The hotel was lovely and the service was very good
- Wanda (8/5): - Location…. Had a lovely single room but the noise and light from the gap under door prevented having a good nights sleep…… disappointing
- nigel (8/5): Very comfortable hotel in a great location but rooms are tired. - food in the restaurant was exceptional, Staff were fabulous, very attentive and efficient. room servicing needs to happen earlier, ours was 3.30pm, and bathroom bin wasnt emptied.
We reported to reception that the net curtains were filthy, so matted that they wouldnt close properly. there were also holes in the main curtains and a bad joint in the carpet, leaving a gap. No hot water on the morning we were leaving.
All of the above was reported to reception upon checking out.
- Kim (10/5): Perfect location and the staff were very efficient and helpful - The breakfast choices were amazing and im coeliac and the staff were very accommodating

- Kenneth (9/5): Very enjoyable, visit Keswick regularly and would always look to stay at this Hotel - very nice hotel, good food and friendly staff, central location within the town centre, with Garage car parking N/A
- purton (9/5): - Very convenient for the town
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- Elizabeth Ann (9/5): I was there in April for weekend and going back in August for 1 week which will be my third stay - Breakfast excellent and staff are lovely nothing too much trouble I don’t like the bar lounge area can be very busy at weekends and residents don’t have a dedicated space making it less likely for me to use bar to relax. It would also be great if they had access to spa facility .

- Jonp0610 (9/5): A bit of Wow on the square - I have stayed here twice before, third time with my girlfriend. It never disappoints. From the friendly staff, cleanliness, comfort of the beds, decor and quality of the food and drink. The location, one step onto the market square is the best.
It still has the wow factor for a small lake district town. We couldn't fault anything with the hotel nor it's staff.
- Clare (8/5): Another great stay at the beautiful Inn on the Square - This was our 4th stay at this hotel. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Keswick. Central, great location. Rooms are lovely, comfortable & clean. Breakfast is exceptional. Parking can be booked in advance, under the hotel. Cannot fault it.
- David (9/5): -
- Craig (9/5): Short, sunny stay in the excellent Inn on The Square. - Excellent location, ideal base for Keswick and north lakes generally. Stayed on the top floor overlooking the square. Spacious room with an excellent shower! We decided not to eat in the restaurant, prices were very steap, but that is just personal preference and expectations.
- Molloy (10/5): -

- FIONA (7/5): Good comfortable hotel in great location. - Excellent location
Friendly staff
Comfortable
Nice decor
Great breakfast Room very hot with no a/c or ventilation. Although a fan was provided, it was noisy.
No fridge in room.
Housekeeping was poor. Our bathroom was only (badly) cleaned once during our stay, and then only in request. Beds poorly made. Insufficient parking available. Public car park available but inconvenient for someone with mobility issues.
- Kenneth (9/5): - Staff helpful and friendly. Left behind dog barking in room for hours, really selfish guest.
- Una (8/5): - great breakfast
- Karoline (8/5): -

- James (5/5): disappointing for what you pay - rooms okay check-in experience very poor ....no parking and miss leading how far hotel car parking is ....also you can buy a discounted parking ticket but no guarantee there is space to park! sell you a ticket and no space! breakfast nice but not generous for what you pay.
- Julie (10/5): -
- Claire (10/5): Excellent hotel for location and food excellent - The location is on the high street the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices the staff are attentive and very helpful The only thing I didn’t like was the lift it sounded a little bit unsteady and creaky
- Ellen (10/5): Perfect stay in Keswick. - Perfect to be honest. Clean. Comfy beds - slept like a log! Parking available. Lovely hot shower. Delicious restaurant food. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location.
Stayed here for the Keswick Book Festival and it was a great find. Will be back next year! Everything was spot on.

- Robert (8/5): Very nice will return - Breakfast good, location great
- Fred (9/5): - Very modern and well laid out. Staff friendly and clean rooms. Breakfast good. All round good. Door closers on rooms need adjusting - loud bang on self closing sends a shudder throughout the floor at times.
- BEVERLEY (10/5): Best dog friendly hotel I’ve stayed in! - The staff were so helpful - it was our first holiday away with our new dog and they were all helping us to settle her down. There was a market on the Saturday and it was literally on our doorstep which was a pleasant surprise.
- Alan (5/5): You make the best of what is offered - Location: rest pretty average for the cost; Good duo at NYE but not appropriate for NY They broke my case as they brought from my 3rd floor room ( lift not working) to the garage.Complained but they denied liability. Requested passed to CEO but no response.. very poor to my mind
- Kerry (9/5): -
- Kevin (10/5): -
- Wayne (10/5): - Nicely appointed rooms, as was the hotel in general. All the staff were extremely polite, welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable in their respective areas. Breakfast was excellent and dinner in the restaurant was even better. Nothing.
- Jamie-lee (8/5): -
- Lorraine (9/5): Very relaxing - Great location.
Lovely view and comfortable room.
Very nice breakfast.
- Dawn (10/5): -
- Kate (10/5): An amazing hotel, great staff, food and drink - It was dog friendly the place looked really good
Amazing staff really friendly helpful and welcoming Nothing
- David (9/5): -
- Rachel (6/5): Average - Location Room was dirty, dusty, the shower was filthy all around the plug hole, yellow stains and along the shower door.
Reception staff also ignored us and chatted amongst themselves, had to wait 10 minutes to be seen as well as the desk was unmanned.
- Gail (9/5): - Breakfast was excellent. Fantastic quality and options. Room was spotlessly clean. Bed was a little firm but just personal preference.
- Kay (10/5): -
- Lauren (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): -
- Lisa (10/5): -
- Lye (9/5): -
- Kev (10/5): Couldn’t ask for anything better - Just a lovely hotel Nothing
- PAULA (10/5): -
- Sara (10/5): Lovely stay. Will be returning I’m sure. - It’s clean, friendly, very comfortable, the food is delicious and the location excellent. The decor is well kept and no signs of wear and tear.
- Jessica (10/5): A comfortable and welcoming stay - I loved the accessibility and the location, the secure parking and ability to be with my dog almost everywhere was a major bonus. The staff couldn’t have done more if they’d tried. Nothing was too much trouble. Rowdy customers from the bar coming up to bed at all hours of the night and no noise limitation/ quiet hours or a quiet floor. I understand everyone is more welcome to do whatever they’ve come on holiday for but if it were an option I would choose to stay away from this. Especially with a dog who got quite distressed and barked at very loud people in the corridors and banging even while we were within our room.
- Jane and Graeme (10/5): -
- ian (9/5): -
- Alethea (10/5): -
- Ann (9/5): Excellent - Central Clean and warm
- David (9/5): -
- Alan (8/5): -
- Jonathan (9/5): -
- James (8/5): We are very happy with all aspects of our stay. -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Central, comfortable and stylish hotel with good breakfast. - Our room had large dual aspect windows with a fabulous view of the peaks. Breakfasts very good and cooked to order. Staff helpful and entertaining. The hotel is right on the main square so superbly located. There was loud music from a nearby bar at the back of the hotel late evening but it had finished before midnight. Would have been helpful to have hooks for coats and damp clothing.
- John (9/5): -
- Victoria (6/5): It was OK but we wouldn't stay there again. - Great location. Breakfast staff were amazing. Room was hot and noisy (over looking public car park). Our key was left on the desk at reception as we got stuck in traffic and were late arriving. Bar staff were rude and wanted to go home early despite the manager inviting us into the bar to order a drink.
- Chris (10/5): -
- Susan (9/5): A welcoming place that makes you feel comfortable - Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice. Hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the main street. Staff throughout the hotel were very helpful, polite and friendly. Nothing
