• Bernadette (9/5): - Die ruhige Lage nahe Bahnhof und Hafen, der Balkon. Es gibt Wasserkocher und Kaffee-Maschine. Das Frühstück würde ich nicht mehr buchen, das gibt es ja in jedem Cafe so. Aber ganz nah ist es.

• Anthony (7/5): Sufficiente - La struttura è ben posizionata, 5 minuti a piedi dal corso principale. Il letto comodo e pulito. La camera è bella e pulita e lo staff molto gentile. Nella stanza era presente una piccola poltrona, un tavolino e un tavolo con una sedia stile scrivania, un armadio e un mini frigo. Presenza di asciugamani e prodotti per il bagno. Condizionatore e tv. Il bagno piccolino ma carino e ordinato, con appoggia vestiti (che é qualcosa di raro da trovare). La doccia. Dovrebbe essere un po’ rimodernata, ma solo il piatto doccia perché l’ho trovata un po’ bruttina. Per il resto andava bene. La tv senza YouTube e il prezzo (39€ una notte per una persona), considerando fine marzo, lo trovo un tantino caro.

• Paola (10/5): Soggiorno indimenticabile. - Struttura pulita, ordinata, arredata con cura e con attenzione anche al dettaglio. Il titolare si è dimostrato disponibile ad ogni richiesta e ci è stato anche di supporto nel risolvere un contrattempo, con gentilezza ed ogni premura.

• Vissani (10/5): La soluzione ottimale per visitare Salerno in tutta tranquillità - Christian ci ha messo a disposizione dei buoni per la colazione al bar che includevano un cornetto e un caffè o cappuccino, il bar è davanti la struttura di alloggio, quindi davvero comodo specie se come noi si è comunque in procinto di uscire durante il soggiorno I letti singoli erano comodi ma abbastanza stretti, soprattutto nel girarmi finivo sempre per battere contro il comodino da un lato e con il muro dall'altro, a parte questo in se per se lo spazio nella stanza era discreto

The location was perfect for us– everything is within walking distance, from great restaurants and cafés to the main sights. The accommodation was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend to anyone visiting!

• Mine (7/5): Good - the location is very good, in the heart of the city. train&bus station&marina piccola they all are 10-15 minutes walk away. also there are many restaurants nearby where you can eat. the bed was comfortable and the area was quite, i slept well. the balcony was useful for drying your stuff. the air-condition was working well and the room was clean. the check-in instructions were clear and easy. you feel the slight humidity in the room when you enter (smells). i thought the reason is that it is impossible to open the window in the bathroom. (the source is not the building itself i think, so it can be solved easily) second one the soap & shampoo they werent enough for me. its hard to use such small soaps to wash your hands. also the shampoo is not enough for long-haired people. third one is that, i understand italian people prefer to talk in italian in their country, they may be right but we are in touristic area and the target of the business is tourists so it would be kind that the host communicate in english instead of italian, i think i do not need to go for google translate to understand the check in instructions as a tourist. the last topic is that i didnt meet the host, we just communicated through booking.com and some times when you do not reply he writes again and again. im sorry but im on holiday and i do not have to look at booking.com all day and reply quickly to your messages. also when i do not meet and the host sends instructions again and again i felt a bit weird like directed in a way. maybe at least meeting with the guests on check-in time would be kind instead of sending a lot of messages.

Nice clean functional accommodation with easy 20 minute walk to ferries and historical centre. Perfect for our 3 night stop to tour Capri and Positano. Also free street parking across the road across the road (ie opposite the blue parking side of the street). Would definitely stay here again.

• Bryn (8/5): Good place to stay, breakfast disappointing - Comfortable room and a big bathroom. Had to walk to a cafe for breakfast, and it was just a coffee and a croissant. The reviews showed it would be a self serving breakfast.

• Trevor (2/5): - Don’t go to this place, or his other Iris B&B / Inn. Terrible location, and nothing works. Supposed to have breakfast included - but nothing! very noisy - street traffic and honking is awful. Sleeping isn’t easy. He used my balcony as a towel drying place, which meant workers were in and out. Again, nothing works. Security box, A/C, TV, even the shower - a bolt on the shower door handle fell off while I was showering and rolled into the drain. The guy now claims he’s going to sue me for the cost of the plumber who fixed it. As if his cheap shower falling apart is my fault. But worst of all, after I said I’d had enough and was leaving after 2 nights of a planned 4 night stay, he repeatedly told me (and texted) that he’d give me a refund for the last 2 nights. But when Expedia called him to confirm, he refused to refund the last 2 days. He’s a complete liar, and in subsequent texts about this he threatened me. Yes - unbelievable! AND said he was going to call the police because I called him a liar, which he claims is against Italian law. DO NOT STAY HERE! I have no idea how his ratings are high - probably friends and family pumping up the numbers. The owner is Christian Guadagno and he’s truly evil. I use Expedia ALL the time - Gold member - and this was the WORST experience ever. Stay away. He doesn’t deserve your money and you’ll have a terrible time if you stay there.

• Graham (8/5): Very good - Large room with comfortable beds. Useful balcony for safe bike storage and drying clothes. Helpful owner let me store my bike and bags for the day whilst I went on a trip to Positano. Second floor apartment with small lift, so had to Carr bike and bags up the stairs. Lack of soundproofing to room and rather tired decor and lighting. Shower was mouldy and needs refurbishment.

There was small kitchen with breakfast, but we overslept to taste it! We have to find a caffe nearby with wi-fi to agree about exact time of check-in!
