En wij hadd3n een kamer voor mij. Zoon en ik maar er was geen kast of hangertje. Geen hakje aan de muur en niets om spullen te drogen. Wijzigen op de bg aan de tuin kant dus als daar mensen zaten was het erg gehorig. Ook hadden we meermaals een kakkerlak

• Paige (10/5): Wonderful stop here with great breakfast and wonderful views. - The hotel was so cute and artsy, very clean and everything was great. Breakfast is delicious. Rooftop has a nice view and the downstairs garden is comfortable. AC is nice and cold. WiFi is fast and reliable. Water pressure was not the best, and took awhile to come to a good temperature. It starts ice cold then goes boiling hot for about 1.5 min until it becomes tolerable again.

• Nora (4/5): Für 1 Nacht ok, länger würde ich nicht bleiben wollen. - Die Lage war gut, das Bett bequem, warmes Wasser in der Dusche. In der Nacht war es ruhig. Der Besitzer verlangte 10 USD mehr als der Booking-Preis war und behauptete, dies sei immer so. Bei den anderen 3 Hotels, die ich während dieser Reise gebucht hatte, war es immer exakt der angegebene Preis. Die Aussage ist also nicht wahr. Zudem rundete er frech auf den ganzen Dollar auf. Der Boden war nicht sauber und der Fussabtreter in der Dusche auch nicht. Der Rest schon. Frühstück war recht knapp.

• Savanna (8/5): - The breakfast was lovely each morning out on the terrace. Our room (#12) was quiet at night and the beds were comfortable, linens seemed clean enough. The staff helped us book a taxi to see the highlands area and also allowed us to stash our bags at the hostal before the afternoon ferry. The front area where you can hang out has nice flair and some hammocks as well as a hose to rinse sandy feet and snorkel gear. Internet worked well. This place is nothing fancy but it was a great place to stay for a couple of nights of sightseeing. The bathroom was not that clean (shower walls were dirty) and there was evidence of water damage/active roof leak in our room. The hot water in the shower was very finicky and hard to get right (common in Galapagos anywhere you go) but at least it did get hot. Space was relatively small and cramped, especially in the bathroom with nowhere to set down your things or hang up your towel to dry.

El desayuno consiste en zumo natural, café,huevo y algo dulce como tortitas o cereales,te lo suben a la propia terraza si quieres. Tienen agua filtrada para rellenar botellas. Cuesta regular la temperatura del agua de la ducha,sale muy fria o muy caliente. No hay caja fuerte, aunque es un lugar muy seguro

Breakfast staff began work at 6am. Every morning they were playing music so it was impossible to sleep beyond 6 if you are a light sleeper.

The staff were all friendly and helpfull There was a disco nearby that went from 11 pm to 4 am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. It was very loud and noisy and made sleeping very difficult. There was also a few groups of students that came and went but they were quiet compared to the disco!!!

First thing he asks us to pay.....after that he started to tell us all the rules of the Hostal... time of entry and checkout strictly at 9.00 am ....if you loose the key it will be 30 US dollars to replace it.....breakfast till 8.30 after that NO BREAKFAST.....a few minutes after of him going through all that we started to feel like we where in a boot camp and not in a hotel.....finally 10 minutes after he did show us the room....one morning at breakfast we did ask for some salt and the answer was....salt already in the eggs....the eggs had no salt at all.....

Had a top floor room and had nice views whilst having breakfast from the port and sunsets. The room is very big, with air con and plenty of space. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was super nice and fulfilling! Had to pay by cash, luckily we had left enough. The aircon was switching on and off constantly the first night but then got fixed.
• Catarina (1/5): Rude and prejudiced Host - Only the cleaner that was nice to us. The owner was super rude since the beginning. He was very prejudiced even though we were always very polite to him. I have never been in a situation like this in my life. The breakfast was horrível and getting worse every day. We pay 3 dólares for one snorkeling mask that had super bad quality and the owner charged me more money that the one that showed in booking. I really didn’t want to argue with him since I was concerned about what he could do so I didn’t say anything but I tried to contact booking several times without answer.
• Wilfredo (6/5): Regular - Location and comfortable bed. Nice views from the rooftop. Owner tried to surcharge additional ten percent for paying by card and also to provide an invoice. This should be specified in the booking conditions. You could hear a lot of noise at night from a nearby bar.

Lots of noises (roosters, little kids at the hostel, etc), so if you are a light sleeper don’t stay here.

Big deck with tables for your excellent breakfast that is included with your stay. And fabulous view. The Sea Lions will “ bark” you to sleep every night. The owner Angel can book your 360 tour and taxis you may need. The location is just a minute walk to shops etc. We spent 5 nights here and did not want to leave. Nothing.

The closet in my room was empty but some garbage were inside, so I didn't use it. Maybe they forgot to clean it?

• Nick (1/5): Not book it! Go somewhere else - Most rude owner at the reception ever. Travelled over 65 countries and the owner is the most rude towards customers I ever experienced in my life. I double checked and other guest also didnt feel comfortable with him. I got a room next to the kitchen, the smootie machine operates at 06:20 am! Believe me you are fully awake from it. Room is really small so your suitcase will not fit.

The first day we arrived, we had water problem (first there was no hot water, then it was very difficult to regulate it), but then the owner called a technician and it was fixed for the rest of our stay. The breakfast was different every day and was ok. For the rooms on the third floor the breakfast is served on the terrace with a great sea view. Small thinks could be improved, for example: add some lines to hang the towels, towels didn't feel very clean.

• Aleksandra (5/5): Passable - The location is good, 5 minutes walk from the port. The owners are very nice people. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are clean, which was great. I will try to put it nicely but the hotel is very humble. My room had kind of a sad view on the front residential building and everything inside the room was just cheap and old. The curtains were thin and would let through the streetlights. Also you could hear the neighbours playing music. There was only one ceiling light in the room with one of these horrible blue lights and no bedside table. No bedside table lamp or other sources of light than that one. The shelving by the bed is made from chip board. The room was small and everything was kind of sad and didn’t feel like there is effort put into making it cozy for people. The breakfast was very humble too. I stayed in many places in Ecuador for this price as I ended up paying 34$, and the places I stayed were pretty much amazing across the country. The rest of the places I stayed in Galapagos for even cheaper were quite amazing for the price. The owners seem nice and communicative although only one spoke English but overall the place needs some love.
• Tara (7/5): Nice rooms but need to provide better customer service - Great location in San Cristobal. We had a large clean room on the top floor so you had a view of the sea and could see some seals. The women who served breakfast were lovely. The shower was either extremely (almost boiling) hot or cold, it was impossible to have a proper shower. We said this to the manager and he didn’t seem to care.. Our room was not cleaned, on day 3 we asked for it to be cleaned (bin was over flowing and dirty towels).. to then be told by the manager there’s no cleaning Sundays.. he eventually got us some new towels. On check out the manager didn’t even ask how our stay was or apologise for the above
