Guest Reviews
- Briggithe (10/5): - We loved every minute of our stay. It was calm, quiet and very relaxing. We definitely recommend it.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! - We stayed at Hotel Nicolás and had one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Breakfast was advertised as a “typical Tico breakfast” (gallo pinto, eggs, cheese, natilla, fruit, plantains, tortillas). In reality, it was just gallo pinto, eggs, tortillas, and fruit—we had to supplement daily. Their salt and pepper shakers even had spiders inside.
The man at check-in reeks of smoke, acts polite, but provides zero customer service. Guests aren’t allowed to use the pool unless staying overnight. I asked to pay a fee or add my friend to our room (capacity is 3, we were only 2) but was told it’s “impossible” to adjust reservations after booking.
Rooms don’t match the website photos—quality varies wildly. Our first had broken rock-hard beds and a broken AC. We were moved, and though the new room had AC, the beds were still miserable. Towels are rationed: pool towels only 9–5, no using room towels or taking them to the beach, or you’re fined.
The owner’s dogs bark, growl, and jump on guests. A late checkout wasn’t allowed, even though the hotel was nearly empty. Sleeping in past 5am is impossible because most windows have no curtains or just see-through fabric. To top it off, I left two small night lights and returned the next day—suddenly they’d “never seen them.” Thieves.
I’ve stayed at five properties in Manuel Antonio and never once been disappointed—until now. This place is dishonest, uncomfortable, and hostile to guests. Do yourself a favor: avoid at all costs.
- John James (10/5): - An oasis in the jungle. Can’t wait to go back. I would stay there again in a second.
- Ana (10/5): - Beautiful grounds, Clean & spacious room with a relaxing balcony, and lots of wildlife! Dennis was awesome and really helpful whenever we had any questions or needed suggestions. Would definitely stay here again!
- Emily (10/5): - Villas Nicolas was absolutely amazing! The staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It was so nice to stay at an adults only place! I think the property has only 12 rooms so it feels intimate. Therefore, it's quiet without tons of people. We swam in the pool every day. Breakfast is included. If I would visit Manuel Antonio again, I would without a doubt stay here again. 10/10!!!
- Donald (10/5): - Great location and good breakfast. Rooms were very comfortable. Nice pool.
- Christopher (10/5): - Exceptional! I can't recommend this place enough. It is very easy
- lynda (10/5): - Super quiet environment. Lots of nature. Great location between Manuel and the town. Denny and Paula were super helpful. Breakfast every morning is nice because you’re busy doing excursions and it helps with the cost. We had a great and safe experience. Slight plumbing issue but the villa resolved it immediately.
- Nathaniel Patrick (10/5): - Absolutely loved this place. Everyone was very nice, and the property is lovely. The ability to lie on the hammock and look at the view made the rainy days so peaceful. I recommend booking the larger king room.
- Aileen (8/5): - We had a great stay here overall, they upgraded our room and we had a beautiful view of the ocean beside the jungle filled with animals, the patio with a hammock was a highlight. There are many gaps in the door so bugs were easily able to enter the room which wasnt the greatest! Overall would recommend if you can handle bugs/wildlife!
- michael (10/5): - We really enjoyed our time here. Dennis, Paula and the entire staff where so helpfull. Thanks again Dennis for pointing out the sloth and baby sloth, it was precious.
- David (10/5): - I would like to say the staff was amazing! The second we arrived Dennis got us all checked in and even allowed us to check in early since we had an excursion set up. We got checked in and got to see a Macaw! Room was awesome! Animals all over. We saw a sloth from our balcony. Would book again!
- allison (10/5): - Super convenient location, around shops and restaurants. Very friendly. Loved seeing monkeys off of my balcony and the room was very spacious.
- Sarah J (10/5): - Villas Nicolas is beautiful and we were so happy with our stay! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The breakfast each morning was a lovely , and the grounds and pool were exceptional. The hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants, the beach (20 min), and even Manuel Antonio NP if you're up for a little hike. Public transit runs regularly and is inexpensive to get to around the area.
Lovely stay! If were ever back in CS, we'll be back at Villas Nicolas!
- Zewditu (10/5): - Dennys was very nice also the rest of the staff members was very nice looking forward to go back again.
Mimi & Peter
- Michael T (8/5): - We would definitely return
- Ron (10/5): - This was a really cool property. We saw more wildlife here (monkeys, toucans, and Macaw) then we did on all of our excursions while in Costa Rica. Awesome porches/patios. Shout out to Paola. She was great. Warm and welcoming and helpful. The only thing lacking, we thought were the shampoo and soaps. Otherwise, very comfortable enjoyable stay.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Ideal location with unforgettable views!
- Valerie (10/5): - If ever there was a place that felt like home, Villas Nicolas was that for us. From the moment we arrived on March 8th, Dennys & Cheryl made us feel welcomed and like family. The staff are wonderful & friendly, (Hi Paula & security guard whose name escapes me at the moment 👋) and the property, a safe, beautiful and tropical oasis overlooking the ocean. Our villa (#1 up) had the most spectacular view with daily visits of various monkey species from funny little Titi's who were captivating and would visit and give us a show, and more serious, calculating Capuchins and of course the Howlers who you hear before seeing. The birds like Toucans would visit in the trees directly in front of our terrace, and of course Scarlett Macaws flying by and nesting in hollow Palm tree trunks directly on the property. Of course we can't forget the numerous Gecko's, Anoles and Iguanas. It is an animal lovers paradise. Cheryl's 2 dogs, Noella and Stella, and her cat Arlo helped with me missing mine at home. My husband Craig and I loved our stay here, we met some wonderful people and highly recommend it. We look forward to returning. Pura Vida! ❤️🤙
- sean (10/5): - We were very happy with our stay. The property is in a great location near the park and is very private once you get inside. The pool area is great, very tranquil. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A.C was great, had a little coffee maker. Our room did not have a balcony, but had a big window with a view to the ocean and into the jungle. Would recommend without question.
- Marisa (10/5): - We loved our stay at Villa Nicolas. The grounds were beautiful and our Villa was comfortable and spacious.
- michael (10/5): - fabulous botique--spendy, but worth thte price
- Audrey J (10/5): - This place was amazing and so reasonable. The room was our own little oasis with 1 full wall a screen that could of course be closed as needed. The AC was good and strong. Bed very comfortable. Small kitchenette was perfect. The busses are great here so when we didn't walk to shopping and restaurants (there were plenty!) We hopped on the bus for 85 cents. The grounds of Villa Nicholas were beautiful and well kept. The pool was awesome and felt like a quiet jungle pool. Breakfast was always good.
- Renee (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Villas Nicolas. Beautiful property, lots of nature and animals around. We appreciated the daily breakfast, and there were many restaurants within walking distance. The staff were kind and helpful, we would recommend staying here to friends and family.
- Kelli Lynne (10/5): - Perfect location - plenty of restaurants (notably Emilio's, El Avion and Claro Que Si), bars and shops within very easy walking distance; you could also walk to the Manuel Antonio Park entrance and beaches if you wanted to (we had a rental car so chose to drive the short distance).
Grounds and pool area are gorgeous and serene, with beautiful mature trees and flowering plants providing a sense of privacy. Pool area was very clean.
The highlight of our upstairs room was the huge private saltillo tile patio with plenty of outdoor seating, a hammock, and wooden shutters. The sweeping view of the ocean at the bottom of the hill was spectacular. Monkeys ran over the patio railings and played in the trees every day and were literally close enough to touch. There were also a pair of scarlet macaws nesting in a nearby tree that we could watch from the patio.
Reception and service were great. Daily cooked-to-order breakfast was included. No issues with overcrowding at the parking lot or pool.
As for activities, we took a guided tour of Manuel Antonio and then swam at the stunning beach inside the park until closing time. We also drove to Marino Ballena National Park (the "whale tail" natural formation where you can see humpback whales in season) and took a sunset snorkel cruise from Marina Pez Vela in Quepos.
Overall, this is a beautiful, relaxing and friendly place that we would definitely visit again.
- Shannon (10/5): - Can’t say enough about this property. The staff, the pool, the room, the view. were all wonderful. A pair of nesting macaws outside our door was the cherry on top.
- megan (10/5): - Unbelievably beautiful! Monkeys, scarlet macaws, toucans, sunset views from our balcony. Just amazing place
- Verified traveler (4/5): My review after one week stay... - I stayed at Villas Nicolas for a week so these are my observations.
Pros:
-Quiet and adults only
-Location right on the main road
-Large units with balcony and kitchen
-Possibility to see wildlife like monkeys sloth and macaws from balcony
Cons:
-I paid for a ocean view but it isn't as depicted online. Its a partial view with most of it obscure by the forest.
-Comes with a kitchen but no tea or coffee provided
-Unit is very dated and in need of a reno. Our door lock knob didn't even lock unless the key was used to lock and unlock.
-I understand we are in the forest but the unit is full of insects, bathroom and kitchen had tons and found some on the bed as well.
-Breakfast is basic with 2 options only. Rice, eggs and fruits or 2 small pancakes.
-Booked a queen bed but got 2 double beds. Bed was loud and wood frame made a lot of noise
- steven michael (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay very much. Dennys and the other lady in the office are very friendly and helpful.
We would definately stay there again.
- Nick (10/5): - Great place, very friendly staff. Clean and well located near plenty of restaurants and bars. Nice small pool. You feel like you are in the jungle with wildlife, it’s great. Place feels safe. A bit more variety with included breakfast would be nice. If you get room 5 or 5L be ready to walk up and down a few stairs.
- Timothy (8/5): - We liked this hidden gem of a property. It was easy and the property was beautifully laid out with plenty of landscaping and wildlife in and around it. Staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. Had plenty of privacy, and centrally located. Rooms were cozy along with covered and open porches overlooking the Ocean. Beautiful view!!!!
We would have liked to have had at least a microwave in the room to couple with the coffee maker and fridge. Also, we would have liked the porch door to have had a lock on the door as well, not just the room. We had the free breakfast and it was excellent, but was surprised we had to pay extra for a few slices of bacon to go with it. Im not sure, but they said the bar area might be open sometimes but we never seen it open, would have like to had a drink bedside the beautiful pool they had. Overall, we would definitely come back to this place in the future, Thankyou for letting us stay and check your place out!
- Will (10/5): - The best hotel in Manuel Antonio if you prefer smaller boutique hotels with great staff and great views from the rooms. Dennis the manager is pure gold!
- Miriam (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villas Nicholas. Beautiful grounds. We saw more wildlife from our terrace than we did in the National Park.
We enjoyed our free breakfast every morning. Everything cooked to perfection.
- Juzer (10/5): - It was quite pleasant and peaceful. Serene environment
- Steven (10/5): - The views and wildlife were amazing.
- Brandie (10/5): - Enoc is the best! This property is amazingly beautiful. This is my second time here and will be my forever go to!
- Bill (10/5): - Very kind staff, the pool is a tad deeper than one would anticipate but was sup lovely to float around in after a long hot day; yummy breakfast freshly cooked for you; great view of the ocean; beautiful macaws flying around AND a/c! Would stay here again no hesitation!
- Marie-Josée (10/5): - Excellent villa but no bar was available
- Anika Melvic (10/5): - Amazing views! Close to a lot of restaurants and only 5mins from the beach! Staff was very friendly and has 24/7 security patrolling the entrance
- Verified traveler (10/5): Hanging by the pool - Close to Manuel Antonio. Many good restaurants in walking distance. Helpful staff. We had a flat on our rental car and they assisted us in getting it fixed.
- Susan (10/5): - Our family had three Oceanview rooms and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice. The place was beautiful and clean.
- Martha (10/5): - Great choice if you want to see jungle wildlife right from the Villas .
Units and property very well maintained, units are large and has everything you need for the stay..
Being in the jungle and we had some rain did bring the insects around ..
- catrina (10/5): - Beautiful grounds with many plants and we saw so many animals on the property!! Macaws living in one of the trees for years, a sloth was living right outside our balcony and many monkeys constantly traveling through. Pool was nice. Nice to have breakfast included. Just note some rooms have many stairs so probably not great for some older people.
- Luis (10/5): - Beautiful and relaxing hotel. Our room was very nice, clean, comfortable, with a balcony and amazing view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast option was great, you get to eat by the garden next to the pool. We even got to see many wildlife animals here. Would definitely come back!!
- Stephanie (10/5): - Beautiful grounds, wonderful staff, delicious breakfast. We cannot wait to return again!
- shamous (10/5): - We decided on this property based on past reviews. We stayed 7 nights for our 20 year wedding anniversary. This property is truly exceptional and I honestly think it has to be one of the best properties in the area! The staff=wonderful, the grounds=beautiful, the room=amazing, the view=Spectacular! The pool area was great... we actually had a sloth hanging around one day and he was at eye level in arms reach :) plus the monkeys all around the hotel made it such an amazing experience! The included breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was super nice! Conveniently located within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back!
- Terri (10/5): - Had a great time. Thank you for your help navigating the area. Very relaxing especially outside on the patio watching nature at it’s best!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property is absolutely gorgeous. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and feels like a little tropical oasis. We were able to see so many monkeys in the trees and it was fun to watch them with the other travellers. Our unit had a big balcony with a hammock to relax and enjoy a distant ocean view. The desk and bar staff were so friendly and made everything easy. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back!
- Jennifer (10/5): - This property is absolutely gorgeous.
- Scot (10/5): - The rooms are nice and clean. Lots of Jungle plants and trees. Dennis is a great host and very helpful.
- Elaine (10/5): - Incredible! Waking up to the sounds of nature, watching squirrel monkeys frolicking in the trees while swinging in the hammock on the balcony with a view of the ocean. Walk to restaurants nearby or make your own using the stove, oven, microwave, blender. Enjoy free breakfast by the pool. Yolo is a 2 min walk away with pub games, pool table, live music and good pub fare. Wifi is great. No TV (you really don't miss it!, and if you do, head to Yolo where they have plenty for you to watch your sports). Security 24/7, great staff. You MUST go to happy hour every day, by the pool, where Ramido makes the best drinks. Buy his homemade hot sauce to take home with you!
- marilyse (10/5): Jungle vibe - A wonderful place to feel the vibe of the jungle ! Really loved it and the view was spectacular.
- Kyle (10/5): Superb in so many ways - One of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Pool is incrdible. Space is well kept and the view of the ocean from our balcony was great. There's also a lot of wildlife nearby....more than what we saw in the park. We were also given great recommendations for restaurants nearby.
- Nikki (10/5): - The staff was really friendly and communicated excellent with one another. 10/10.
- Suzannah (10/5): - Beautiful room & views!! Check-in & out was so easy. The pool was amazing
- David Anthony (10/5): - Gorgeous location.. the staff was great, friendly and efficient. They booked transportation from the airport which worked out perfectly and provided great recommendations for activities.
Breakfast each day was very tasty and Dennys was very helpful. Hope to return some day!
- Breshaun (10/5): - The property is absolutely gorgeous. You are right in the middle of nature enabling you to see beautiful toucans, macaws, butterflies, and monkeys. Dennis was so helpful and kind. The property is well kept, bright, and welcoming. It is more than I expected. A wonderful stay. ❤️
- Della (10/5): - There simply are no words to explain how absolutely wonderful of a place Villas Nicolás is. Dennis and the other staff members are so accommodating. We stayed in a lovely unit with a balcony. There were toucans, monkeys and so many birds we could enjoy from our balcony. Great kitchen area for cooking. The pool was heaven. If there were more and 5 stars available for a rating I would give it to Villas Nicolás.
- Anup (10/5): - We loved our stay at Villas Nicholas! We had a beautiful room (room 7) and every morning a little bird tapped on the window to wake us up. We enjoyed the breakfast and the lovely pool and great location close to great cafes and restaurants. Especially loved the friendly and helpful staff.
- ALLISON (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay here
- Marcia (10/5): - We loved staying here. We were welcomed by Monkeys on our porch on the first morning. But they moved on and we didn't see them the next two days. We stayed in room 8 which was a small room but had a fabulous veranda. It was also the highest up. it had a great ocean view and was very private! I would stay here again if I ever came back to the area.
- David (10/5): - Our room at Villas Nicolas was well appointed, comfortable, and the view from the deck was truly spectacular. We saw toucans, monkeys and macaws all from our deck. Everything on the grounds was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but the property operates more like a B&B than a full service hotel. Breakfasts in the pool garden were quiet and relaxing, but the selection was pretty limited. Overall a great stay, and we would definitely recommend.
- Mary (10/5): Fantastic! - An amazing property! Immaculate landscaping fits well with the rain-forest ecosystem in the region. Great pool, friendly staff and great views of the hills and ocean. Would recommend!
- Cindy (8/5): - We were able to see monkeys and a sloth right from our patio! Great place, clean and friendly staff.
- Eugene (10/5): - From the moment we stepped out from our car at the parking lot we were greeted by Dennis, the Hotel Manager.
He personally took us to our room and provided us with the most relevant information to enjoy our stay.
Located in the beautiful Manuel Antonio area, Villas Nicolas combines the lushness of the jungle forest with the tranquility of a Spa.
The suite was beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean. (I have to mention that the pictures on Expedia and their website do not fully capture the beauty of this resort).
Our stay included daily breakfasts (delicious Costa Rican meals) served by an always attentive staff, led by Enoch and supported by his delightful wife and son
During our stay we lost one of our cellphones. Thanks to Dennis’ help in locating the phone, speaking to the person and providing us with an exact map of where to find him, we were able to retrieve it and enjoy our scheduled tour that day.
We strongly recommend Villas Nicolas for a great, pleasant and relaxed vacation!
- Danielle (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Villas Nicolas. The property is conveniently located on the Main Street and close to restaurants. Our room was very nice and had a lovely view of both the jungle and sea. We were able to see monkeys and birds in the morning and it was truly magical. The Breakfast is delicious and the general layout and landscaping of the property makes you think you’re in an oasis. We will definitely be back!
- Rafael (10/5): - A perfect place to enjoy the incredible diverse wildlife that surrounds Manuel Antonio National Park! Perfectly located over the hill overlooking the beaches and the park. There are plenty of eating options around the hotel, as well as activities like bird watching, canopying and wildlife spotting. The cabins overlook a lush jungle and if you wake up early, you will enjoy the troops of squirrel monkeys passing by. You can also see plenty of howler and capuchin monkeys on the surrounding areas. The garden and the swimming pool areas are lush and home to many birds like ara macaos and toucanoes. Service is really good, rooms are clean and in great conditions. I really enjoyed my stay at Villas Nicolas and looking forward to visiting this beautiful place again.
- Ganning (10/5): - Beautiful garden and private quiet room with large balcony although simple breakfast and lack of on-site restaurant.
- Will (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic place for independent travelers who want a low key experience in Manuel Antonio. Amazing views, wildlife with spacious balconies to take it all in. Loved it. Thanks to Dennis and the rest of the staff for a great visit! We’ll be back!
- Dan (10/5): - Fantastic stay, absolutely beautiful place, very friendly staff. Best bartender in the area, cheers!
- Nikolay (10/5): - Dennis is a very good manager, always polite and respectful to guests. Complimentary breakfast was good, and if not enough, a lot of restaurants walking distance to find. The nature was amazing, a lot of monkeys and we met the sloth at property to see first time so close. A pair of parrots live there as well. Swimming pool surrounded by bushes and beautiful trees was always clean and relaxing. Air conditioner worked perfect and the room looked like a cousy house- built one. We enjoyed the view of the ocean every sunset and sunrise.
- shawn (10/5): - The property was nice and clean and staff were very friendly. Both receptions were very friendly and helpful specially Dennis who is a very warm and nice receptionist and helped us a lot for our local needs and questions. Miss Sheryl Livingston, the manager was also super kind and helpful in giving us any info we needed about the properties and the local affairs of the resort. We will recommend your place to any friend or family member who want to visit Costa Rica. Keep up the good work and thank you again.
- Lois E (10/5): - The grounds of the property are beautiful, loaded with plants and flowers and the pool is serene, well-kept and lovely to swim in. There were 2 couples in our group and we stayed in different rooms. Their room was very spacious and comfortable, adjacent to the jungle and they watched sloths and monkeys up close. Our room was significantly smaller but we paid $30/night less for it and our view was a knockout. I would have liked a little more space in our room but otherwise it was just fine. Both rooms had fans and heat pumps for A/C. Denis was great - friendly, helpful and funny - and Estrella the dog was a sweet little girl. I’m missing the place as I write this…
- Erica (10/5): - Stayed in unit #12. Lovely unit with kitchenette and amazing deck. Loved waking up and listening to the howler monkeys and birds. One day we had a sloth neighbor hanging out in the tree next door. Dennys was the property manager and was so helpful. The only downside is that walking around that area is a little dicey because of the lack of consistent sidewalks. Would definitely stay again.
- Sabitha (8/5): - This property has steep steps , not suitable for older people or with lots of luggages. The unit was clean.
- Priscilla (10/5): - The friendliest staff! The room and property was clean and beautiful. We loved lounging by the pool and petting the front office dog, Stella. :) would definitely book again!
- Melissa (10/5): - This place made our trip amazing!! The view from our balcony was to die for and some days I would rather spend time there than going to crowded touristy sections. We saw tons of wildlife from our room: monkeys, toucans, macaws, etc. It was a dream, and the hotel was conveniently located close to a lot of restaurants and stores in walking distance and a short drive or bus ride to the beach. The grounds were quiet and private and beautiful!! Would definitely stay here again!
- Bev (10/5): - Villas Nicolas was amazing!! The staff was very friendly and gracious. They always had great recommendations for food and were also very accommodating when we had questions regarding transportation. The place is very clean and quiet. The view is spectacular and the pool was perfect. We highly recommend staying here!!
- Tiffany (10/5): - My stay here was amazing! It was quiet and peaceful. The staff were so kind, helpful, and accommodating. I stayed over a week and really enjoyed my time there. Sure, the rooms could be updated a bit, but I was not bothered by that at all. I had a pretty good idea of what to expect from the website pictures. They were not misleading. If that’s a huge deal for you, you may want to consider a different option. I chose to stay here because of the location. I wanted to stay somewhere that was safe and also be in an area that was walkable. The ocean view patio was a vibe. I was extremely happy with my choice. The beach was about a 15 minute walk. I caught the public bus to the National Park. It was about a 10 min (tops) ride. There were restaurants near by to walk to for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was good, although there are only 2 options. Again, I already knew this prior to my stay. I did find other reasonable breakfast options at a nearby hotel, The Falls, that was very good and had more variety. I would definitely recommend staying here. I would stay there again if I returned. I really did have the best experience.
- PETER (10/5): - The personal treatment from the staff was really good.
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful stay surrounded by wildlife - This was a beautiful property. We saw monkeys from the pool, there are macaws that reside here and we saw 2 sloths from our patio. Staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved the room and the happy hour poolside was a great surprise. Highly recommend staying here. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and the on-site breakfast was convenient.
- Agustin (10/5): - Awesome quiet place, great views to forest and ocean.
- Sue (8/5): - Views are spectacular and private balcony great. Property and rooms are dated and need refurbishment. Breakfast ok but not great. Lots of notices telling you what you can’t do and what you will be charged extra for! Limited facilities. Pool area very pleasant
- MEGAN (8/5): - The property is beautiful!! Clean and comfortable and a convenient location. I was surprised that the front desk is only open 9-5. We arrived later and were brought to our room, but had to inquire about things like where to get pool towels the next day. Also, while breakfast was available there weren't other easy food options on the property like water, coffee, vending machine or restaurant/bar.
- anula (10/5): - I like this hotel because was clean and close to the beach
- Paul (8/5): - Staff, Denise & Paula up front were terrific. Pool, location and room were terrific. Breakfast was weirdly limited ,almost like “ take it or leave it by design. It was ok for me ..less is better. #1 eggs white toast (margarine on request) & rice. #2 2 pancakes. Coffee & juice. But oatmeal or yogurt choice would be nice. I would return and do one special breakfast off premises.
- Kenneth (10/5): We chose well! Perfect spot and great staff - There were so many places to choose from for our stay in Manuel Antonio, and we chose well! Perfect spot and beautiful, clean property. Everyone was friendly and helpful and made great suggestions on restaurants and boat cruises. Could not have been better!
- Summer (10/5): - Amazing view! Very quiet and peaceful. Great Staff.
- Rodrigo (10/5): - Es una propiedad muy linda. El lugar perfecto para relajarse y disfrutar. Definitivamente regresaría, todo estuvo excelente!
- Chris (10/5): - Enjoyed breakfast but only two options available. All staff very good, Paula particularly helpful while making an online booking. Access could be a problem with steps depending on chosen room. Recommend booking a deluxe double with balcony and sea view, fabulous views and wildlife better than National Parks
- Vinod (10/5): - Staff was vey helpful
- Nannette (8/5): - This property is enchanting and with incredible views of the ocean. You feel like you are I. The jungle too! The villas are lovely and decorated very well. There is noise from the street and restaurants that are close by and convenient, but it is not too much of an issue. One word of caution! Make sure you are able to stay on the days you pay for as there are No Refunds!!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, walking distance to many restaurants. Very friendly staff, amazing views. We saw monkeys everyday, sloth right of our deck, macaw all on the property.
Definitely would come back again.
- Richard (10/5): - This hotel was wonderful with a great view and plenty of wildlife. Paula was extremely helpful, friendly, and hospitable. We loved our stay here! Also, the night-guard takes his job seriously and we felt very safe here.
- Patricia (10/5): - The view is just amazing. No better place to watch the sunset. We were in a superior sea view which I would highly recommend! Lots of great restaurants and a store within very close walking distance. We saw macaws, toucans, a sloth and many monkeys on the property! Sitting at the beautiful pool area, you will see many of these creatures. We hope to visit again. Extremely friendly, laid back vibe!
- daniel (10/5): - Loved this place so much. Very nice staff and very attentive. Our room was great for viewing wildlife. No amenities other than pool and breakfast but several places within walking distance. We would definitely stay there again.
- dave (10/5): - Great place.
- Paul (10/5): - We loved this place. The surrounds are full of wildlife, monkeys, sloths and bird life. Lovely pool with lots of loungers. Villa was very comfortable with well equipped kitchen. Huge balcony with fantastic view out to sea, and the hammock was great to relax in. The two choices for breakfast were both tasty and satisfying. Wish we had stayed longer.
