Yet, all the city is just a bus trip away and the local bus station is very close. There are loads of good bars and restaurants nearby plus the market Cannot think of anything

Keuken goed ingericht. Heerlijke douche met voldoende kracht. Hosts heel responsief via de chat. Voldoende verduistering. Perfecte grootte voor een weekje met een kind. Prima wifi. Er waren wel wat straatgeluiden, maar voor ons geen probleem. De tussendeur moet een keer gesmeerd worden, maar dit waren we vergeten door te geven.

Excellent location for sightseeing and close to lots of shops, restaurants and coffee places. The apartments are in an old building that’s been renovated. The high ceilings and exposed brick are a nice touch. The view of the cathedral from the living room area of my first floor apartment was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the internet great, bathroom and kitchen had all I needed, everything worked, was in good shape and I was very comfortable.

• James (7/5): A nice apartment but reconsider if you are hiring a car and want a more reliable check in experience - The apartment is spacious and well equiped. Communication with the host was very bad. I had to wait a very long time on numerous occasions for a response. Just prior to checking in i waited over 1 day for a response. The quickest response was reminding me to check out the day before which made it seem like the host didnt care. Parking is terrible. The car park nearest the accomodation is very very small and not suitable for most cars. Private parking ( the only option for most cars) isnt close and quite expensive. You should factor this in if you are driving. The apartment is a near a main road so sitting on the terrace you can hear the traffic. The shower head had a missing nozzle part.
• Amaya (8/5): - Que tuviera aire acondicionado, ya que hacía bastante calor.. Los techos altos del apartamento. Hay toallas de playa, lo cual se agradece mucho. La ubicación es muy buena, (a pesar de tener bastante tráfico), está entre Triana y Vegueta que son dos zonas bonitas y con mucha oferta gastronómica. Hay varios parking cerca. La zona de cocina está bien surtida, incluso con lavavajillas, aunque se echa en falta una tostadora. De las 3 sartenes que ofrece, sólo 1 es válida para la cocina de inducción. Para una reserva de 7 noches podrían haber dejado más toallas. Hacia bastante calor en el apartamento.

• VICENTE (9/5): - El apartamento está muy bien decorado y la cama es cómoda. Está muy bien localizado respecto del centro histórico y muy fácil de acceder con el coche. Una incidencia que tuvimos con el parking fue resuelta muy rápida y eficazmente por la persona que nos gestionó el check in El entorno del edificio es un poco ruidoso por las noches. El menaje de la cocina es demasiado escueto

• Henri (10/5): Fantastisch appartement in oude wijk Vegueta - Het luxe, schone en veilige appartement op een goede locatie aan de rand van de oude wijk Vegueta met al haar bezienswaardigheden. De koeling in de afzonderlijke slaapkamer was niet optimaal met een kleine mobiele airco.

• celia (8/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix, bon emplacement - Très bon rapport qualité prix, emplacement au top, terrasse très chouette à partager avec les 3 autres appartements, belle vue, quartier le plus intéressant, possibilité de prendre un bus pour aller à la plage, parking proposé par l’établissement à 9€/jour ou parking souterrain à 300m à côté d’un supermarché à 9€50 par jour. Appartement spacieux. Bonne literie dans la chambre. La Clim n’est que dans le salon assez loin de la chambre, le lit d’appoint dans le salon est de mauvaise qualité (très peu épais), malgré le double vitrage rue assez bruyante, pas de volet et de possibilité d’avoir la noir complet dans la chambre, appartement doté d’un grand lave vaisselle mais très peu de couverts, de verres, manque d’accessoires pour cuisiner (essoreuse à salade, ciseaux…)

• Stephanie (10/5): A new city to explore and the best place to stay whilst you're doing so! - The location is amazing. We walked to most places. It's so central (and because I'm married to a fussy eater!) we could pop back for lunch if we chose to. Close to excellent supermarkets, which helped. You'll be spoilt for choice of places to eat out. The security of the apartment is great and the area felt very safe too. The apartment is very thoughtfully designed and has everything you need for a great city break. I have only one small criticism and that was the sofa wasn't very comfortable to sit on. It wasn't a showstopper and my lack of comfort probably isnt helped by my advancing years! Please don't let this put you off booking as you won't be disappointed.
• A. (8/5): Comfortable and well located - I stayed in flat number 4, on the first floor. The flat is very pleasant, with exposed stone walls and high beamed ceilings. The view from the living room is lovely, trees and beautiful old buildings. The road is indeed noisy, but the windows are very effective. The main room lacks lamps which would make the atmosphere more intimate. You can't turn on the light on the kitchen worktop without switching on the extractor fan, which is noisy. One of the bedside lamps doesn't work. The floor is worn in places and could do with being re-varnished. The sofa is also a little worn.

• Sandra (9/5): Fabulous apartment with use of roof terrace in the middle of the city. - The location was excellent as it was on the door step to all amenities like shops, restaurants and local attractions e.g cathedral and museums. The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything you needed. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with anything you needed. Parking was only available at an extra cost although the cost was reasonable. However, getting in and out of the garage was extremely tight so only suitable for smaller cars.

• Sarah (9/5): Fabulous location and lovely apartment. - Totally brilliant location. Lovely sun terrace. Apartment spacious. Clean and as stated in description. Requested an airport pick up last minute as there was news of a possible bus strike, this was arranged perfectly. Room was quite warm at night and road noisy so had to sleep with windows closed ( which meant you couldn’t hear any outside noise which was great), however we visited in November so not a problem but may be an issue when temperatures are warmer.

• June (8/5): Loved the location, roof terrace - We enjoyed the situation of the property - in respect to the old town -which was fabulous. The roof top terrace was great and a good size. The air conditioning was adequate in the lounge, but non-existence in the bedroom. The kitchen utensils could have been better-such a lovely kitchen but no bread knife, wine glasses or enough cutlery really. Parking for a hire car wasn’t brilliant- we were 3 days into the holiday before we realised that we could park outside the historic area, over the road, behind a solid white line. In historic area you can only park with a ticket once day. One day we put a parking ticket on in the car in the morning and came back to park in the evening but we weren’t allowed to do so.

• Jo (10/5): Exceptional - Location was fantastic, right in the old town, lovely bars and restaurants just across the road, tourist bus stop across the road. Facilities were fabulous in the apartment, beds super comfy. Communication from the owner was great. The owners organized a taxi transfer from the airport and the day we left, we could leave our luggage in a locked cupboard until we were ready to leave. I would highly recommend this apartment. The bus stop is a 5 min walk away, so it's easy to get to the city centre and beach. The main shopping area is only a 2 min walk away and a fabulous food market just across the road .

B - Location is excellent as it’s situated in the old town so it’s near a lot of interesting places. On top of that, it’s within walking distance of three major bus stations which make the island very accessible. We have been to Maspalomas to see the sand dunes through the exciting mountains route. Enjoyed the best sardines and garlic prawns there. Firgas, Terre and the little Venice…all just an hour bus ride away. The thick walls of the old building supposed to be ‘sound proof’ but when heavy footed person and toddlers running the length of the floor above you early in the morning and night, it’s quite annoying.
• Raimonds (8/5): Great apartment in a prime location - Great location next to the old town and very good appartement with all you need Next to a loud street. Windows must be shut to avoid the noise. An issue in a hot night, when extra fresh air is needed
• Maria (7/5): Location super, kitchen so so. - The flat is aesthetically very beautiful. The kitchen is modern and has several appliances (microwave, stove, coffee machine, etc). The location is perfect to visit the old town, the market is Vegueda and shopping streets. As we had a car, we booked the parking through the host, which I highly recommend because the area is difficult for parking, it costs 8€ per day and is underground. The host allowed us to keep the car in the parking a little longer after check out from the flat. The additional bed is an unfolding bed. We didn't use the washing machine but it's on the last floor, where also a small terrace is available. The cleaning facilities are not the best: my bedlinen had spots and the floor was not clean. I contacted the host and he sent the cleaning lady the next day to fix the problem. We used the kitchen quite a lot and it's clearly not often used, additional cutlery and pans/pots are needed. The parking is extremely tight, we scratched the car twice so definitely do not book it if you have a big car.
• Diana (8/5): As expected and loved the terrace access with all facilities in the room. - I really enjoy this place. Was more than I expected. To get the key is very easy you get a black box and a code for the main door easy access and my room was ready early so was just perfect. Didn’t had to see any host was just get in code and good. The terrace was great ! The kitchen too amazing and all facilities would live to come back !! And easy access with buses to go around the island. The main problem I would say was the noise from the street and from the apartment upstairs.. the wall I very thing of you are light sleeper like me any noise or light will wake you up. And the neighbours that were above us made lot of noise and a party during the first 2 nights. Wasn’t good at all cause there is no one to go and speak to them. I did beg in touch with the host easily but didn’t felt confident to go knock to the door of someone else, I was told to contact police in case as no noise are allowed after 10 pm but same I don’t speak Spanish so was difficult for the sleep …. Then the main bed for me was too hard but my friend loved it ! The last thing was the floor was a bit dirty and need a bit of a bigger clean. Overall everything good.
• Lorraine (9/5): Great apartment in busy Old Town location - Great central location in Old Town, close to shops bars and restaurants- simple walk to bus station, we took bus from airport and took a trip out of town - great suite room we were on first floor, used the roof top terrace which was pleasant. Good description and communication, would recommend Next to a very busy road so is quite noisy through the day, quieter at night but even with double glazing still noise can be heard. It was fine for us but others may not like it. We stayed for a week and could have done with more storage - not sure if suitable for 4 adults as no separation between bedroom and sofa bed.

The roof terrace is a nice bonus. We were able to leave our luggage for a few hours after checking out which was very helpful. We were surprised that staying for 12 nights there was no change of towels or bedding or a mid-stay clean....this is really not good service. Also the description should make it clear that the washing machine and drier are both coin operated.

• Pam (2/5): Too noisy - It was very clean and well located for the sights and restaurants of Las Palmas My apartment ( # 1 ) was on the corner with a very busy dual carriageway and busy side road. The windows and shutters had to be kept closed to avoid noise and traffic fumes. Under the windows was opaque class which let in light and shadows as people walked past. It was impossible to sleep with the constant noise which continued until 4 am

• Valdas (3/5): Poor - The apartment's location was very good, surrounded by a variety of good restaurants and bars, and the proximity to Las Palmas Cathedral added a charming cultural touch. Additionally, the internet and Wi-Fi service was notably good, providing stable and reliable connectivity throughout my stay. However, the apartment was very dirty and that made us very disappointed with the whole stay. The cleanliness of the apartment was deeply disappointing, far below any acceptable standard. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an array of unattended areas: from visible crumbs and stains in the kitchen to dust-laden surfaces and grimy window handles. It was evident that some places hadn't been cleaned for months, if not years, including neglected spots like the top of the water closet and the wall sockets. Had we been aware of the true state of the apartment's cleanliness, we would have never chosen it for our stay, especially considering the price we paid. I strongly encourage review readers to view the attached photos, as they vividly illustrate the extent of neglect and uncleanliness we encountered.
• Craig (10/5): Excellent apartment if you want a city stay or to tour island - Apartment was very nice and clean and comfortable. Roof terrace fabulous. Expected more noise in city location but not an issue. Fantastic location and short walk to old town attractions. Easy to get onto main roads and motorways to go into mountains. Short easy drive from airport. Highly recommended Hair splitting but could have done with 2 more wine glasses and 2 more coffee mugs
• Matthew (9/5): Great location and lovely apartment - The place is very nice, the kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is nice and modern. Bed was comfortable. Location is great for seeing the old city. The host gave us several good local recommendations. There was a misunderstanding about cleaning so the place wasn't ready for us until after 5pm. The internet wasn't working when we arrived, they fixed it on day two but it was still unreliable sadly.
• Helen (10/5): Beautiful apartment. - This apartment really is a hidden gem. It is very clean and spacious, lovely roof terrace. A short walk away from the supermarkets, shops, cafes and playground. There is a little road noise as it is situated on a corner but that didn't affect our stay or ability to sleep. We stayed to be close to the children's hospital and it was a great location 5 mins away in a taxi, which we could pick up outside the door. Hosts provided great communication about self check in/out.

• Anonymous (9/5): Great experience! Love this place! - Great apartment and the location is just amazing! A few minutes away from big bus stations, a few minutes to the old town and to the newer parts of the city. The apartment is spacious, clean, and you feel comfortable right from the beginning. We loved the terrace, amazing. Highly recommend if you want to fully experience Las Palmas! The only tiny aspect which could be improved (it’s not a negative aspect rather a recommendation) to have the basic spices (salt,oil) in the apartment as people usually don’t buy these things for a few days.
• Dzina (8/5): Great spot to visit the city of Las Palmas - Well-designed, great location, enough space for three of us, all necessary facilities, prompt answers of the hotel staff. Miscommunication problems, at first we were given the wrong code for the key box. The cleaning person didn't leave a blanket or duvet for the second bed, and there weren't any toilet paper (we bought our own). The floor seemed not too clean. But as we addressed the issues to the hotel, they were resolved promptly, which is good.

• Cjg123 (9/5): Great modern apartment - The location is great and close to the cathedral area. Lots of cafés and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Any problems that we had were dealt with promptly. Loved the roof terrace.

• Gary (9/5): Excellent apartment but the owners accused me of taking towels - The whole apartment was superb . Beautifully appointed with a lovely mix of modern and and old . I was very impressed with the facilities and tv with Netflix etc . The kitchen had all the things I needed and more . I had not stayed in an apartment before where I had to collect keys etc but it was easy enough. But there was an issue with me being accused of stealing the towels because I thought the info said put the dirty towels by the cupboard under the stairs , which I did . I followed the instructions. There’s no way i would take the towels because my suitcase was full ! I’ve stayed in many hotels and apartments and never take anything I teach hospitality in a university in Birmingham. I’ve never taken anything. They accuse me without asking me if I took them or not . They are charging me 30 Euros. I checked out earlier and informed the cleaning people they could come at 11.00 so who ever took them must have been someone else in the building.

• Lcbrown (10/5): Highly recommended and would stay again. - A lovely apartment in a great location just close to all the sites of the historic old town and lots of good bars and restaurants. Also had a great terrace for sunbathing between the sightseeing. Although the building was not manned, the hosts were quick and responsive to messages. Highly recommended and would stay again.
