- Tiina (10/5): One of the nicest hotels I've ever been to - Everything: the room and the facilities, lovely thoughtful details in the room, the breakfast, the afternoon snack service, the staff. Especially the staff; the manager and the ladies working at the hotel are all extremely helpful and friendly. Location is also nice, it's not in the historic town of Sintra, there's bit of a walk there, but the location is central, yet quiet in the nighttime in the "new" area of Sintra, within walking distance from train and bus stops. There's no reception, but the access with the codes works perfectly. We couldn't fault anything - the only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer this time!

- Svetlana (10/5): - This was our favorite stay from our trip to Portugal. Beautiful historical building was very charming. Beds were huge and comfortable. The best part was the people who hosted us. They were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast that they prepared for us was very tasty, with a lot to choose from. After a long day of exploring we looked forward to coming back and having a glass of port that was left for us in the dining area. Great memories! Thank you!

The snacks and drinks left out in the lounge were amazing, and having a laundry room WITH A DRYER was great. We loved our short stay and would book here again. Not really a spot for our uber driver to drop us off/ pick us up at the property but we did make it work

La habitación estaba impecable, muy limpia y cuidada al detalle. La cama era especialmente cómoda, y la decoración era preciosa, con muchos pequeños detalles que aportaban un ambiente muy acogedor. El desayuno fue otro de los puntos fuertes: muy completo, con productos locales de gran calidad que se notaban frescos y bien seleccionados. Además, me encantó el detalle de ofrecer un tentempié por la tarde, algo que se agradece mucho tras un día de turismo o trabajo. La ubicación también es buena, ya que se puede llegar al centro dando un paseo agradable. Aunque el hotel no dispone de aparcamiento propio, no resulta difícil encontrar sitio en los alrededores. En general, el hotel transmite una sensación muy cálida y acogedora, el personal fue siempre muy amable, atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento. Sin duda, un lugar al que volvería. Como punto a mejorar, mi habitación estaba situada a pie de carretera y, a pesar de contar con buenas ventanas con aislamiento, el paso constante de coches y motos hacía que el descanso no fuera del todo óptimo debido al ruido.

Douglas the Manager was fabulous, answered all our questions before we got to Sintra, provided us with excellent dinner recommendations and places to go. Iris, the breakfast hostess was to be commended for her personality, always positive and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional, afternoon snacks and drinks (fruit juice, beer and wine tasting) was provided without charge. Laundry room has everything you need to include a drying rack which we used. Room staff was exceptional. We couldn't ask for a better host for our stay. Highly recommend this place and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever come back. Nothing

Every consideration given to comfort and making our stay a pleasure. Beautifully decorated with a gentle harmonious taste celebrating nature and the local area including the history of the building.

- María Jose (10/5): Una joya en Sintra - La decoración del hotel. La comodidad, todo está pensado para las necesidades del huésped. El desayuno excelente. Llegamos cansados y tarde el primer día y pudimos disfrutar de vino, quesos y pasteles de nata ofrecidos por el hotel. Douglas fue muy amable. Pudimos lavar nuestra ropa ! En la habitación habían sombreros lindos para el sol y un cuaderno de dibujos precioso. El hotel es una obra de arte! Nada. Todo estuvo perfecto

- bertapelle (1/5): non è un HOTEL!!! è un semplicissimo b&b - nulla prima di tutto la comunicazione. NON E' UN HOTEL!!! E' un b&b. La reception non c'è e il centro non è a 10 minuti ma a 15 ma di taxi. I bagni sono freddi (non c'è il riscaldamento nei bagni) Quello della camera invece è ottenuto con un condizionatore, che nella mia camera non scaldava. Il "tutto come a casa vostra" significa che dovete anche portare i piatti sporchi in cucina. Insomma poco più di un Hostello delle gioventù frequentato da anziani.

We told him we had bou - The Casa is an historic building with high ceilings that has been beautifully updated with all the modern conveniences. It is within walking distance of many sites of interest with many nice restaurants and markets nearby. That we had to leave after just two nights.

- Alcina (10/5): Our stay in Sintra - Everything. The room was great, just as advertised. Douglas was wonderful and welcoming. He truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. It was our anniversary and he surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

- Bruno (10/5): Amazing little boutique hotel with friendly staff on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Sintra - The property is well presented with lots of character. Douglas the manager was super helpful and responsive. The rooms are clean and well presented, and most of all very comfortable. The breakfast is wholesome and the hotel even has free port and beers in the later afternoon. The pre arrival check in is a bit fiddly, but the PIN code system is actually very sensible and convenient

- Karl (6/5): Bitte Zimmer 3 meiden - Das Zimmer war gut eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war gut, der Kaffee sehr gut. Die Lage an einer viel befahrenen Stadtstraße! Die Autos sind ca. 50 cm weit entfernt an meinen Fenstern vorbei gefahren.

- Diana (10/5): - Excellent communication with the host, comfortable and very nice room and amenities, convenience of being able to store luggage in a locker before and after checking, extra free snacks and drinks. Some distance to walk to the town old center but on the other side had no problem finding free packing very close by which is not possible if you are in the old town. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. Thank you Douglas and Casa da Estefania team for your prompt responses, recommendations and making our stay so pleasant!

Beautiful, clean environment, self check-in, laundry facilities, very friendly staff, I’ve never experienced such comfortable beds and pillows anywhere else, and the room amenities were also top-notch! All this for a reasonable price – thank you for the wonderful stay, and please keep doing everything just like this (so well). Nothing! :-)

Destacamos la atención y buena predisposición de Douglas y Laila. Resulta un poco dificultosa la ubicación para el descenso de maletas ya que la calle es angosta y muy transitada.

- Muauka (9/5): Un séjour au-delà de nos attentes - Notre séjour à la Casa da Estefânea a été absolument parfait, il n’y a vraiment rien à redire. Le logement est impeccable, confortable et fidèle aux photos. La literie était parfaite, nous avons tous très bien dormi. Douglas a été aux petits soins pour nous du début à la fin. Il a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit mémorable, surtout pour mon papa qui fêtait ses 80 ans. Nous avons été profondément touchés par son attention et sa gentillesse. Il avait même prévu une collation avec de délicieuses spécialités portugaises pour l’après-midi, une surprise qui nous a énormément fait plaisir. Un immense merci pour cet accueil exceptionnel. Douglas mérite largement ses 5 étoiles pour la qualité de son service, sa disponibilité et son sens de l’hospitalité. Nous repartons avec de merveilleux souvenirs et nous recommandons ce logement les yeux fermés ! Tout était parfait

- Anais (10/5): - The breakfast was terrific, with fresh and local products. At the last minute, we had to bring an additional 4-year-old guest, and the room was very spacious for the three of us. The bed was so big and comfortable, we all had a great night's sleep. We were happy with the porto tasting in the common area, which was playing relaxing music. The hotel is very well isolated, and even if we are in the city, you feel like you are in your own cocoon. The check-in and check-out are seamless with the hotel's technology. Great restaurants and exploration tips at the hotel. 100% recommended. Nothing really, we had a great stay.

- Mairis Cassagnol (10/5): El mejor lugar para hospedarte en Sintra! - Este lugar fue excelente. Haganse un favor y no sigan buscando más opciones, este es el mejor lugar para hospedarse en Sintra. La atención al cliente es excepcional, la comunicación perfecta. El lugar es extremadamente limpio. Las ventanas son apruébales de sonido, y no escucharás ningún ruido que te perturbe en la noche. También proveen detalles que hacen tu estadía única, como bath robes, algunas bebidas en el cuarto, lockers para dejar tu equipaje, lanudo. El desayuno es excelente y en la tarde/noche ofrecen vino y entremeses. También. La decoración del lugar es hermosa. La habitación es exactamente como se ve en las fotos. Si volvemos a Sintra definitivo nos hospedaremos de nuevo en este lugar. Gracias!!!! No hay NADA que pueda decir negativo de este lugar. Todo fue excelente! Gracias!
