Guest Reviews
- Meagan (9/5): Relaxing stay with wonderful views. - Magnificent view. Clean comfortable with everything we needed. Even a 7 hour power outage one evening (whole town) didn’t detract from our stay. Highly recommended.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and plenty of room with a beautiful view.
- Micale (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful spot. Everything we needed and more. Location is perfect we will be back! Nothing
- Anonymous (9/5): Overall we really enjoyed the home. Just disappointed an error was made with bedding. - The location, views and ambiance in the home were wonderful. Our booking was for five single women. The bedding configuration requested was for five single women which was confirmed by email. Unfortunately when it came to bedtime around 11:30pm we found only 4 beds were made up!
So the guest sleeping on the bottom bunk had to sleep on top of the doona ( in place of sheets) and use the doona from the top bunk as her blanket.
As this bed wasn't made up the guest towel was also missing.
- Henry (8/5): Comfortable stay - Large space with great appliances. Laundry and TVs were excellent. Driveway was very poor with the gravel making it very difficult to gain traction with the car, in fact getting bagged trying to drive up the driveway!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - Lounge room and view were excellent. A little expensive.
- Fiona (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (8/5): Great place to stay. Recommend to others. - Great location, fabulous view, comfortable, warm, very clean. A few more condiments in the pantry would be handy. Beach towels should be included rather than requiring a phone call request and a $5 charge per towel. Especially at a coastal location where swimming is quite likely.
- Judith (10/5): Excellent location, stunning views, comfortable fabulous house! - Excellent location, great views, beautiful house -perfect ! Nothing wrong
- Emme (10/5): Would 100% recommend - Well situated with stunning views and lots of amenities. Needs a knife sharpener and a salad spinner
- B (10/5): Wonderful house and location - The view was phenomenal!
- Jayne (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful home Had everything you needed
Outstanding view
- Suzandphil (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the Hazards is incredible and it really is on the forest edge but so convenient to everything. The house is very well appointed... we loved our stay and exploring the area. Highly recommend and hope to return 😊
- Ronald (9/5): Superb -
- Kim (6/5): Pleasant -
- Kazumi (10/5): Exceptional view! - The view from the lounge was exceptional!
- Stephanie (10/5): Absolutely fantastic! - What a stunning property. The view is what definitely sells the place but all of the amenities were great and made for a really enjoyable weekend. The location and ease of check-in was superb and my only complaint is that we only had two nights there!
- Suzanne (10/5): Great Spot - Fabulous house, with lovely views. Very comfortable for our group of friends, with everything we needed.
- Anne (10/5): Fantastic view from a great house - This was an excellent property, comfortable and very well equipped. There was so much space in the large lounge and kitchen. It would be great for a large family or big group. The view was tremendous and it was great to sit on the decking with a beer. Nothing
- Laura (8/5): Tranquil and close to national park - Great location and amazing view. Spacious. Plenty of bed options. Good kitchen with enough crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking implements etc. large bath for kids. High chair available. Laundry room. Staff were exceptional (there was a leak with washing machine, with water through laundry and downstairs area) and they responded extremely quickly after hours.
Looks to have been recently painted (white) which makes it look much fresher than in pics. Shame that the fireplace isn’t able to be used (property description doesn’t expressly reference fireplace, but it can be seen in some pics).
Carpets a bit tired.
- Kate (8/5): Very good -
- Belinda (10/5): scenic, close to the town, has everything you need to be comfortable! - Great big space and kitchen with an amazing view. carpets are a bit musty and probably need a deep clean.
- Louis (9/5): Superb -
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeffrey (10/5): Fantastic, comfortable, spacious rental - Really great house to stay in while visiting Freycinet. It was just 3 of us, but the house can accommodate so much more Great views from the deck of Freycinet National Park. Its located minutes from the park to make it easy to experience the beauty of the park. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need if you decide to cook. Also close to town if you need grab a pizza, ice cream or stop by the general store. The only thing I would change is to be able to turn off the ornamental lights on the deck to get a better view of the night sky.
- Madeleine (10/5): Splendid place - Probably not the best choice for one night only: a minimum of two would make more sense to really enjoy all that this location has to offer.
- Sandra (10/5): Great place - Beautiful views. Neat and tidy house.
- Shane (10/5): Amazing views and a great retreat - Was a very relaxing and spacious house with amazing views of the mountains beyond Coles bay.
We loved the open fire and wished we could have enjoyed it for longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing! - Incredible. Gorgeous view. Gray location. Cooked steaks and enjoyed the view.
