Guest Reviews
- Sophie (10/5): -
- Jade (9/5): - Beautiful views, stunning location, very comfortable bed. Sadly the aircon stopped working in whole house and for some reason were told we couldn’t use second room.
- Dani (10/5): Beautiful haven for a relaxing stay with views of Oyster Bay - The property was lovely, with an amazing view of Oyster Bay. It really was a beautiful haven to relax and reset. We’ll definitely be returning on our next trip to Tasmania. Only a small thing and maybe a bit pedantic, but the windows need cleaning, that way you’d have an even clearer view when the doors are closed. But it’s so minor, it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property at all!
- Jessica (10/5): -
- Alison (9/5): -
- Toni (9/5): Secluded location. Great views. - Wonderful views
Comfortable beds
Secluded location
Some board games There is no door to the ensuite
There is salt and pepper in the pantry and there was vegetable oil but nothing extra.
There was building work going on at the block next door. I understand this happens but could have been notified prior. The workmen were noisy at 7am.
- vanessa (9/5): Gorgeous view from this lovely balcony (some outside furniture would have been great) - Sunset view Building site next door
- patricia (9/5): - Great location and beautiful property. Stunning views. Appreciated early entry to property. We would recommend to our friends and family Building site next door with early start on weekday. No screens on some windows and lots of mozzies
- Drutman (10/5): -
- Emma (5/5): Disappointed. - Where we wanted to be…. The location was as described apart from building works next door.
The home was described as ‘entire place is yours’ 2 beds / 2 baths - however when we arrived there was a notice on the second bed that said ‘ Dear guest - this bed is NOT part of your booking. If you use this bed you will be charged extra’.
It took 18 hrs for them to clarify that this was a mistake and we could use the bedroom without further charges.
The main bedroom smelt like sewage after the first shower. Obviously a drainage issue.
- bruno (9/5): Très bien - Localisation
Propreté Climatisation en panne dans la chambre principale
Nous avons donc dû utiliser la chambre annexe
- Grant (8/5): Great area to visit and overall the unit was very nice with a spectacular outlook. - Location and view was to die for and the complimentary wine and chocolate was a nice touch. Second bathroom was OK but shower over small bath was not great.
The managing company/booking notes should advise the time the access code will be sent at least a day in advance.
- Daniella (5/5): The view was lovely, the place near, but dusty inside, just needed a little attention to detail -
- Stefan (9/5): -
- Erika (8/5): - hosts were responsive. great location near Coles Bay town centre and national park. amazing views. beds were comfortable and place was clean bit of sewage smell. would have been nice to have some beach towels available.
- David (10/5): -
- Emily (10/5): -
- Rob (6/5): Mwah..... - Construction pit next doors, should been disclosed beforehand!
Don't have a 50% discount sign hanging in the home for an extra night, if you charge top $ for original booking......
No luxury bath rooms....
No seating on the deck..
- Stephanie (10/5): Great place to stay when visiting Freycinet. - Location and layout of property.
- Sharon (9/5): A beautiful modern accommodation with sea view. Very convenient and comfortable. - This is an incredible location.
- gail (9/5): -
- mary (10/5): Exceptional in every way - Clean, comfortable, spacious, amazing views, great location Nothing
- Stephen (8/5): - Breakfast not included, location was fine but we thought it was on the Hazards side of the bay Comfy furniture on the balcony
- Caroline (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (10/5): The property has an amazing view and the home is gorgeous! - The view was fabulous and the home was beautiful and well equipped. Wish we could have stayed longer! The instructions for using the lock box said to open the door after entering my code. I've never used a lock box and kept trying to open the door to the home instead of opening the lock box door. It would be clearer (and possibly save someone from after hours assistance in future) if the words "lock box" could be added to this part of the instructions. Thank you again to the woman who helped us!
- Emma (10/5): A very comfortable place to stay, and amazing views, walking distance to beach. - View and clean, modern accommodation
- Erin (10/5): -
- Bronwyn (10/5): Peaceful and access to beach a plus - Views , close to attractions, quality facilities Nothing
- Kylie (9/5): Opulent facilities and vista - Great location, stunning views and perfect features. One missing piece in the jigsaw puzzle!!
- Melissa (10/5): -
- BIJAY (10/5): -
- Beech (8/5): Good if it wasn’t for several builders and the noise - Clean, tidy, good location There was builders next door, we couldn’t open the blinds and go out there without 5 builders out there, was uncomfortable.
Also hard to relax hearing building equipment going off.
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Nicky (9/5): Enjoyable, relaxing stay. Loved the walks in the area. - Views
Comfortable beds
Set up well
- Jacqui (10/5): Loved our stay! Wish we could of stayed longer! - Perfect views! Plenty of space. Great kitchen set-up - we like to cook & it was perfect. Beautiful views from both bedrooms. Would of liked a dryer for washing, as our stay was in winter.
- Cecilia (9/5): We loved it, just what we needed but didn’t realise it. What a view! - The views were spectacular and the whole place was comfortable The street lights cast a bright light into the main bedroom at night
- Zeph (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (9/5): Beautiful peaceful stay excellent amenities - Beautiful views and close to the beach
- Vincent (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Relaxing and enjoyable - Handy location easy access to beach and short drive to local shops and bay. Spectacular views from balcony, we watched the most amazing sunsets.
- Jennifer (9/5): Superb -
- Udomlak (9/5): Superb -
- Penny (9/5): We loved the location with access to the beach - The smell of the septic system was overpowering and we couldn’t really sit outside or open the doors.
- Adrian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carol (9/5): Superb -
- Sandra (10/5): An amazing two day stay making memories with family. We will definitely recommend to our friends and family. Will defini - The view, the facilities and comfort. Could do with some outdoor furniture on the balcony.
- Ajm (10/5): Would definitely stay there again - Loved the location, short walk to a glorious beach being able to watch the sunset from the balcony with a glass of wine topped it off. The property was very well maintained and comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for out needs. Short drive to local amenities and sight seeing. Everyone in the group was happy : )
- Melanie (8/5): Very good -
- Charles (9/5): Superb - Excelent location clean and comfortable good useable kitchen I have no complaints, it is not my house so things will be different. I understand this and am OK with it
- Bruce (10/5): A totally relaxing stay - The apartment was so spacious and the view just perfect.
- Nicola (10/5): Wonderful location. - The view.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Great view. Comfortable townhouse suitable for 4 guests. After booking for $450 for the 1 night, I changed the guest numbers from 2 pax. to 4 pax. It was a 2 bedroom townhouse. I was annoyed that there was an additional charge of $80 for that change.
- Marylyn (8/5): Great - Location and views spectacular. Proximity to bay was great. While the architectural upgrades made to the property were clever, the exposed skylights around the main bedroom meant very early morning wake ups! Bring an eye mask if you are sensitive to light!
- Natalia (10/5): Modern property with an amazing view and excellent location. - The view from the property was an absolute highlight of our trip. The has is fully furnished, has refurbished bathrooms, excellent heating and cooling. Lots of kitchen utensils and a pod coffee machine. We thought that 4 mugs for 4 people was OK, but 6 or 7 could be better (in case one accidentally falls, for example)
- Carole (9/5): A pleasant stay - Beautiful view. Comfortable beds and adequate kitchen facilities. We had to wait outside for a while before we got the entry code
- Bosco (10/5): Super clean, perfectly positioned, glorious 4 day stay with 2 kids. - Everything. Nothing. Only suggestion is an extra rack for clothes drying would help…
- Sunita (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - The most amazing place to stay in Coles Bay. The view was so beautiful and the apartment so comfortable with everything we needed.
- Wai (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Thng (9/5): Superb -
- Kmoulton (10/5): Wonderful location and view, extremely comfortable and well appointed accommodation. -
- Gopi (10/5): Exceptional - Location n views r excellent. House is spacious modern n very clean
- Lorena (9/5): A relaxing and picturesque stay. - Amazing view of Coles bay and good facilities. None.
- Robert (9/5): Relaxing, comfortable stay with excellent view and beach access - Fantastic view , comfortable beds , great heating and cooling option . Second bathroom needed a non slip mat in the shower .
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Great stay. - All was as expected and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location with private access to the beach, had everything we needed and we'd recommend this place...but...do always check the dishes before you use them, the previous occupier left what looked like egg or cheese all over several plates, a fork and pure grease on a knife which clearly hadn't been checked prior to handover to us. We ran it all thru the dishwasher and thankfully it was our only issue. The dirty cutlery and crockery left by previous occupier. We also had beer and olive oil along with a few other things we were happy to leave for the next occupiers or cleaner but we had to bin all food which was a shame.
- Annette (10/5): Exceptional -
- Caitlin (9/5): Sunset views! - We arrived and the heater was already on and music playing, was very welcoming! Views are incredible and watching the sunrise/sunset made the trip. Lots of board games available and everything you could need to cook. Loved this airbnb Location is about 5 minutes by car from Coles Bay which we didn’t realise. Still an easy drive.
- Grant (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wei (8/5): Great view, comfortable stay - Gorgeous sea view and sunset, comfortable and well appointed Had an ants issue but management was responsive, nearest food or grocery store is a short drive away
- Joanna (9/5): Superb -
- Kristy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Johanna (9/5): Location was fantastic with stunning sunsets - Stunning location
- Penne (10/5): great - lovely view, nicely furnished, lots of cooking facilities, close to beach
- Helena (9/5): Lovely modern house with superb view of the beach and bay. - The view was fantastic and the house was well furnished and well heated. The beds were super comfy There was no information about the house inside including wifi info. The check in time of 3pm was inconvenient when industry standard in Australia is 2pm.
- Peter (9/5): It is a must visit and stay, so close to the wonderful Wineglass Bay and National park. - The location, overlooking the inlet, so close to the beach. The property, so comfortable, offering the best in accomodation and all the essentials.
Importantly , freshly shucked oysters five minutes away. Could not fault the property, will book again.
- Peggy (8/5): Lovely stay - View of the sea Not enough lighting in common toilet
- Siluya (8/5): Very good - We left my sleeping pants in the room and when I was asking the staff online we don’t hear back any updates.
- Della (1/5): Other than the view, very disappointing. - Other than the awesome view, this was unfortunately an awful experience. My friend and I booked and confirmed at least three weeks prior to our holiday, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom location, to find out upon arrival, after office hours, that there was only one bedroom made up, with no spare linen available and no extra towels or bathmat for the second bathroom. Worse than this though, when I called the after-office number, the fellow said there was nothing that could be done as the office was closed, he promised someone would be around the next morning after 9 am to provide linen as long as we put the key in the lockbox.
So, we stripped the main bed that night to SHARE the sheets between the two beds and made up the other bed.
We came home from a whole day out sightseeing to discover a linen bag left out in the rain on the bench at the front door. The sheets were wet, and the other bed not made up, why bother asking for the keys to be left in the lockbox if the linen bag was going to be left outside in the elements.
There were ants all over the coffee table, dining room table and on the benchtop in the kitchenette, though there was Pea Beau (a pest control spray) under the sink. So, we carried out some housekeeping before our stay in the unit actually began.
The toilet seat in the ensuite was broken.
Access to Netflix went down around 7.15 pm and didn't resume until after 9 pm.
So all in all, I realise that over $400 a night is not a large amount to pay for accommodation, however, at the very least I would have expected both rooms to be made up and a degree of cleanliness and after office hours care to be provided.

- Eleanor (9/5): Tranquil, replenishing stay on the doorstep to Freycinet. - Stunning vista and easy access to the beach.
- Pablo (7/5): Nice and itchy - The location and the views are incredible. The kitchen was really well shorted. Excellent for the stay My kids were absolutely devoured by midgets and we were too by mosquitoes. I understand is something you can’t control but It would’ve been good if the owners could’ve warned us. It made the experience quite unpleasant and my daughters marks are still visible all over their faces/ bodies a week later
- Maithilee (8/5): Very good -
- Janine (10/5): Absolutely worth it - Beautiful view!!
Great location, close to Freycinet NP. Well equipped kitchen. A lot of space.
