• Prasanna (7/5): to Anuradhapura pilgrimage - So many flys in restarurat. Very difficult to consume food there. Can't control those flys.
• Margot (2/5): Je ne recommande pas - La vue Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude le premier jour. Le second jour, on nous a changé de chambre : il y a eu de l’eau chaude le matin, mais pas le soir. Enfin, le dernier jour, nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude le matin. Aucun geste commercial n’a été fait par l’hôtel.
• MARINDA (9/5): - Ns avons pris la suite magnifique avec piscine privée mais les buses ne fonctionnent pas avec une terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin avec un grand mur. Une belle décoration dans la suite et grande salle de bain. Nous sommes restés 1 nuit et 1 nuit supplémentaire dans la chambre avec vue sur les rizières 😃 Le petit déjeuner du 2 ème jour car c'est servi sous forme de buffet et plus de choix par rapport au 1er jour ou c'est le service à table

Same with a faulty kettle in one of the rooms - was not replaced
• Christian (9/5): Parfait à tous niveaux avec un personnel particulièrement attentif et très amical. - Son emplacement et sa taille ni trop grand ni trop petit et donc convivial 🤗 En ville mais en même temps devant les rizières, sous les arbres et avec le chant des oiseaux, la présence des écureuils, le parfum des fleurs,… Tout était parfait 👍

• Anais (9/5): Très bel établissement à proximité des lieux à visiter dans un environnement calme et soigné - La taille de l’établissement, peu de monde et donc très calme. Chambres très spacieuses, joliment décorées et balcons donnant sur rizière espace extérieur très agréable, piscine belle et propre et jolie vue depuis la terrasse Notre Clim ne marchait pas nous avons donc changé de chambre en cours de séjour. Il aurait fallu vérifier avant notre arrivée nous avons fait une nuit chaotique

• Jochen (5/5): OK - Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich Die Zustand der Anlage passt nicht zu dem Preisniveau. Die Badezimmer und A/C sollten besser gewartet werden. Ein Zimmer hatte extrem moderigen Geruch sowie Schimmel an der Decke, wurde jedoch bei Beschwerden gleich getauscht. Extrem viele Fliegen beim Frühstücksbuffet. Anlage liegt an zwei Hauptstrassen den Verkehr hört man ständig. Das Personal hat sich zu jedem Zeitpunkt sehr bemüht! Danke !

• Zoe (8/5): Great location, lovely people - Great location for getting to Wilpattu and seeing the ancient city. Lots of restaurants nearby. Lovely staff and comfortable rooms. The menu is not great for vegetarians but there are good restaurants nearby (e.g Golden Mango)

• nicolas (9/5): Séjour très reposant face aux rizières, le personnel est très gentil et attentionné, ils ont été très arrangeant par rap - La cuisine, le chef très professionnel, la literie de très bonne qualité, l’attention du personnel et la piscine dans laquelle on peut faire des longueurs :) On peut également aller à pied au lac (point de vue pour le sunset incroyable )

De service was goed, handdoeken, wc-papier en flesjes water werden aangevuld/vervangen. Ze kunnen hier rekening houden met glutenvrije dieetwensen. De lakens waren een beetje smoezelig.

• Caro (8/5): - Das Zimmer war toll, geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück kann man sich absolut sparen! Kaum Auswahl und leider sehr viele Fliegen am Essen obwohl es gut abgedeckt war. Kaffe leider nicht gut.

• Alex_G (8/5): - Nicely designed hotel, a bit of loving and repair needed, but still good deal. Spacious room, very comfy beds and pillows. Hotel is outside the main activities/city, but close by if you take tuk tuk or a taxi. Breakfast was an overkill, just too much food and I would recomend them checking in with guests if they want to eat everything they offer before brining/cooking it. For a short stay I would defo recomend, for something longer I would try to find something else tbh. Breakfast, even thou great and tasty was an overkill with just way too much food. Apart from that - lovely short stay location.

• TravelerLissa (2/5): - Kubura Resort liegt schön. Es ist nicht weit weg von allem, aber dennoch ruhig. Der Pool ist schön. Es war sehr unsauber. Die Zimmer waren okay, aber außen war es sehr unschön. Ausserdem haben wir uns Bettwanzenbisse eingefangen! Eine wirklich unschöne Erfahrung und in diesem Falle, wäre es besser gewesen erst einmal die Google Bewertungen anzusehen, denn dort war genau dies beschrieben. Es war keinerlei Komfort. Wir mussten Personal suchen, um etwas zu trinken zu bestellen. Am Morgen waren im heißen Wasser schwarze Stückchen drin. Hier wurde sich allerdings bemüht eine Lösung zu finden. Appetitlich war es dennoch nicht

Good breakfast, String Hoppers and Dahl followed by fresh fruit… Best of all though are the wonderful staff, Sri Lanka is a friendly country but these guys are a cut above 🙏

• Amy (7/5): Great for solo travellers. - Lovely & helpful staff. The rooms are very large with comfortable beds. The view isn't as great as in the pictures but the location is good and they provide tuk tuk tours of the sacred sites (ask for a driver that will be a guide and explain things too). Restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes including vegetarian. The pool was magnificent and clean and I had it all to myself for almost an entire day! There was a poor large fish in a concrete "pond" outside my room. It was alone and way too big for the pond. There were no reeds or plants, the water was very murky and unsure what it is fed 😞
• Stephen (9/5): A very relaxing environment to stay for a few days - Large bedrooms extremely well equipped and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. A small resort on the edge of rice-fields but close to the key attractions in the temple city. Pool water was clean, and staff maintained pool well. Menu was a little limited, and outside eating options not really convenient as resort outside the new town.

• Graeme (9/5): A great stay at an extremely friendly hotel. Anuradaphura is well worth a visit as it is less touristy than other cultu - The rooms were exceptional - we had a large bed, sofa and private plunge pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and were so helpful. Whilst a little way out of town, it is quieter than being in the centre of Anuradaphura. The breakfasts were not great compared to the other hotels that we have stayed in whilst in Sri Lanka.

• Alice (5/5): Not great. - The location is great, although you can hear the heavy traffic from the main road. So, if you are planning to book this place for the peace and quiet of the garden area and balcony view like I did, think again. The room was spacious but poorly cleaned. The pillows and bed sheet were dirty and smell like other people slept in it. There was a problem with the solar panel on the roof, which made loud sounds at night, so we barely sleep. The restaurant tables were very dirty. The food was not great. Probably the only place we didn’t enjoy on a two weeks trip in SL.

• Malin (9/5): Väldigt bra och fantastik mat - Väldigt fint och trevligt, vacker utsikt, svalkande pool, hjälpsam personal. Fick hjälp att hyra cyklar så vi cyklade överallt vilket fungerade jättebra. Fick även hjälp att boka safari i Willpattu. Maten i restaurangen var fantastisk så vi åt där alla kvällar. Skulle kunnat stanna längre. Kanske lite mer att välja på till frukost. Lite trafikstört när man satt på uteplatsen.

Worst place in Anuradhapurat - Location is convenient to go to Anuradhapura sacred temples Not clean. Staff is not attentive. They mostly entertain outside visitors to restaurant for alcohol drinks. There was vomit in restaurant. They did not bother to clean it up for more than an hour. They expect residents to eat at restaurant while vomit and bad smell was there in the restaurant. Staff is rude to locals. They try to please foreigners and alcoholic locals only. Not family friendly

Store flotte værelser, med et velfungerede badeværelse. Lækker kølende pool, smilende og venligt personale. De forsøgte på ingen måder at sælge os dyrt købte services, og det var bare helt perfekt. Alt var perfekt ☺️
