Guest Reviews
- Kim (10/5): Very friendly - Very friendly and attentive staff upon arrival and checking our
- Chris (8/5): Clean and comfortable. - Stayed whilst on business in Mansfield, ended up in the Bridal Suite which was spacious and comfortable. Can't fault the staff in the hotel, welcoming on check in and resolved any issues I had straight away.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely old hotel, just as expected. Helpful, thoughtful staff. Beautiful location
- michael (4/5): - Frankly this should not be called a hotel, as it is no more than a pore BnB.
upon check in i was given a room key when i asked where is the room i was told its up stairs throuhg one of the doors.
upon going in to the room i found two very small beds, and very tired room thats hads day to say the least. the bathroom was un real for a hotel the shower looked like it was going to fall apart at any time, and the stagnet smell from the bath room was over powring.
i send around 3-4 night a week away, but this far the worest i have ever stayed inn, other than the my first encounter with staff however the other few was very plesent
- Ian (8/5): Yes would definitely stop again - Nice friendly hotel excellent breakfast
- Paul (10/5): Paul - The hotel is a little tired but the rooms were large and clean a 5 mind walk to town centre which makes it a great location

- Verified traveler (4/5): Bedroom needs upgrading - On arrival staff were very pleasant and helpful. This hotel is used for functions including weddings. We arrived on Sunday and there was a wedding reception and evening disco which was loud and unfortunately disturbed two tired travellers. The bedroom was minimalist and although designed for two there was only one chair. The paintwork and wall paper were peeling, The mattresses were comfortable but bed head rocked and the freestanding mirror tilted precariously. The bathroom was very shabby with a shower that alternated between hot and cold and a front piece that kept falling off. The radiator looked old and the lead had been painted over. Overall the room and facilities were shabby. The view from the window was nice but the room was disappointing.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel - Lovely place and would recommend to anyone. It has had lovely charm that you only find in small places
- John (6/5): Average - One of the bath taps came away in my hand and some of the power sockets in the bedroom didn’t work
- Verified traveler (6/5): - No food served at this hotel. Hotel needs a revamp as paint chipping and room of low standard for the price paid
- Denise (4/5): - Hotel was nothing like photos, although in a beautiful setting this hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. It is a terrible shame that such a beautiful building with excellent views and surroundings has gone into such disrepair. Plenty parking and pleasant staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Could be so much better. - Slow check-in, room tired and need of update. Plaster on ceiling badly cracked. shower screen seal green, furniture in room poor. breakfast very slow.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Ok for a budget hotel
- John (6/5): Nice park - Good enough
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Very tired hotel and poorly staffed. Chef issues mean't I couldn't get an evening meal
- Michael (10/5): Lovely - Its an 18th century listed building located in a beautiful and quiet park but minutes walk from Mansfield town centre. Really nice staff who care about their guests' experience.
I have stayed here lots of times and wouldnt dream of staying anywhere else in Mansfield.
