Our room was in desperate need of an upgrade. Mold around the window. I have photos. Peeling ceiling. Only one socket in the whole room. TV so tiny. Bathroom in need of complete change. I appreciate a sign up to say work is ongoing but really shouldn't put people in rooms like this. It's a health issue. Hope all these issues are on the list. It didn't help being put in a room above a noisy bar.
- Elaine (8/5): Lerma is a lovely town and the Hotel Alisa is in a fabulous location to get to and to explore. - The room was a good size and had ensuite facilities. Clean and tidy. Dinner at the hotel was very good and well worth the money. Our shower head was broken and we did tell the receptionist but unfortunately they didn't send anyone to fix it or move us to another room.

- Debra (8/5): As usual, a very convenient stopover at an excellent price. - Have stayed here many times for an easily accessible overnight stop on our way from SE Spain to the ports of Santander or Bilbao which are a two and a half hour drive away. Good parking, comfortable rooms and pleasant staff. Dinner, bed and breakfast rate very competitive. Will stop again. Breakfast very very basic. Would have liked a fridge in our room.

- Olena (10/5): Muy buena calidad - El sitio ha superado mis expectativas, la habitación que tuvimos era muy grande y con muchas funcionalidades, muy buena calefacción, lo cual se aprecia en este tiempo. Nos ha gustado tener el servicio de bar en el hotel y poder tomar cosas cuando quisiéramos. El personal es muy amable y nos han facilitado muchas cosas. Volvería y lo recomiendo para unas noches si venís en coche para ver la zona tanto de Burgos como de Aranda de Duero, queda muy bien a medio camino de los dos.

- Laura (6/5): - El personal Las instalaciones. Había valdosas que se movían al entrar en el baño haciendo ruído. A la mañana, el personal de limpieza empezó (a las 9) hacer ruído sin respetar a los húspedes que aún estan descansando, arrastrando camas y abriendo las ventanas muy fuerte.

- Stephen (8/5): Good for a one night stay to break a long journey. - Rooms are basic but clean. Public rooms are spacious, and used by locals as well as guests. Dinner is usually good, and excellent value, although breakfast is somewhat minimal. Public areas not very warm in winter months, and decor has seen better days.

- hayley (7/5): - Very convenient location if travelling through Spain as just off the main road. Room was a good size. Bar and restuarant. Dogs were allowed in the bar, so you could take your breakfast in there with your pets. Some staff were lovely - but main lady behind the desk was a bit of a Karen. Hotel is a bit dated and tired - but that didn't make it uncomfortable. It may allow dogs but charged 16.95 euros per dog !!!!!

Grand choix et produits frais. Tables avec nappes en tissu et serveur au top. Petit-déjeuner bien diversifié et bon. Le rapport qualité/prix. les équipements de la salle de bain, la qualité de la literie et l'insonorisation (c'est ainsi que nous avons découvert nos voisins français! Et pourtant discrets!).

Algo ruidoso por las puertas tan finas. Por la mañana cuando la gente sale de sus habitaciones al pasillo, los portazos suenan mucho. Me choqué con el palo de la lampara de la cama. Fui a dejar una cosa en la mesilla y me di con la cabeza y me hice una herida. Es facil darse. Sería beno cortar el palo que sobresale hacia abajo.

- David (8/5): We have stayed in the hotel many times and it always meets our expectations. - The food is always good for us. The bar staff especially are always great. The location is excellent for travelling north or south and its a dog friendly hotel. The reception is so welcoming and the owner is always there to smooth the path. The beds are fine but the pillows are no good for sitting in bed to read. The hotel really needs new pillows.

- Janice (9/5): We are hoping to stay twice more this year and will cntinue to visit hotel Alisa. - The location was perfect and easy to get to on route to Santander.The best part of this accomodation was the friendliness to dogs.So few hotels accept them.Parking free on site is a big bonus.The fan in the room was very efficient and welcome.Enjoyed using the outside,undercover seating area to eat and drink. The breakfast was adequate but could have been better with an easier to use toaster.Some fruit slices would have been a good addition.Also fruit would have been pleasant at the bar.

The hotel is tired but clean and we haven't eating in restaurant as we have dog so stay in bar area and food ok .. but for the price for a night stay all we needed ..very dog friendly Not that we didn't lole ..as we have returned many times...but is tired in need of some work
