We've stayed at other Moxy hotels and know that we enjoy the vibe, pool table etc. Staff were friendly and good location for exploring Bandung. There was a private event on the rooftop bar on the second night of our stay, music was extremely loud and bass-heavy until midnight. Felt we should have been advised of this during check in and maybe offered a room on a lower floor. At around 10:30pm we asked staff at reception if anything could be done, they said they'd send ear plugs up to the room but they never came.

Some of the parts we liked: + Reasonable prices - both for room and F&B. + Comfortable room - spacious, comfortable, clean + Friendly and helpful staff + Some play amenities that kept the children happy + Accessible location, with some F&B outlets and also a supermarket within walking distance + Good view from the rooftop bar/restaurant where we had dinner on 2 nights A few minor drawbacks though: - Thin walls - we were able to clearly hear our neighbour's relatively loud conversations on successive nights - Not a fan of translucent glass panels for bathrooms in family rooms - Lots of smoking going on at the rooftop bar/restaurant that made our dinners less enjoyable

Location is next to a mall (probably? Did not get to explore it). The little things like free Americano and snacks available at the lobby were very much appreciated. Breakfast could be a bit better - all forgiven due to the excellent waiting staff and the very affordable rate. The odour of the room left a lot to be desired - I, however, thought it was probably due to my sensitivity to smell. Other people may or may not experience it the same way.

But it has obviously gone down a bit. - Strategic location, good breakfast and helpful staff One of the staff didn’t really help my family when the hot water didn’t come out. Rather than helping out, the stuff blamed the problem to the ”people who wrongly put the hot water label”. The only ones who did that we’re obviously hotel staff. Very unprofessional!

- RomanD1604 (10/5): 3-star hotel, 5-star staff - Stayed with my wife and 5 y.o daughter for 3 nights. The room was a bit small even for a 3 star, no actual cupboard, just hangers on the wall. The shower is nice with good pressure and hot water. Now the good part, the staff are the biggest asset of this hotel, they went above and beyond. My daughter asked for papers to draw on and they actually brought coloring sheet and pencils, when we came back in the evening, we found the biggest pink teddy bear I've ever seen waiting in our room. My daughter and her cousin were ecstatic, she actually planned to sleep on the bear's belly 🤣. And they messaged me to ask when they see my laundry bag instead of just decide to send it to the laundy service, which 2 separate 5 star hotels did to me a while back, and charged an arm for it. The breakfast variations are very good, you can order indomie at the egg station, freshly cooked nasi goreng from a hole in the wall. One morning we didn't get a chair and eating while standing at the long table, the staff brought us chairs without being asked, so kind of them. Location of the hotel is very convenient, a walking distance from a very popular souvenir shop and many coffee shop around it, not that you need it because the hotel provide free coffee and popcorn all day 🥳

- ssnizam (10/5): Fun hotel with a lots of games to play - One of the best hotel crew ever. Thank you to all staff especially Mr Gerry, he let me check in early. As Platinum Elite Member, he gives me all the three welcome gifts, no need to choose. The room was bigger than the normal one. Great hot water and great aircond. The Moxy Bar was fun, great view of Bandung town. This hotel has a lot of fun games. The food was great, western mix with Indonesian cuisine. The hotel location nearby Bandung favourite bar and restaurant. I will come again here next time i visit Bandung city.

- Resty (8/5): comfy beds and good breakfast - very good location in Dago area, near a lot of shops, resto and minimarkets. really enjoyed the breakfast buffet too, which varies from day to day. staff were friendly and the wifi was fast. bed was comfy too, good view from the rooftop noise from the street could be heard from my room in the 9th floor.

From the gate crew to the receptionists and everyone else, the team is always so friendly. Just recently, I even got a free room upgrade for being a regular guest at Moxy. They gave me a corner room with a great view — such a nice surprise! Thanks to the crew member who did the upgrade — sorry I forgot to ask your name! Moxy may not be a brand-new hotel, but compared to other hotels with the same star rating and age, it’s definitely one of the best! The rooms and cleanliness are still top-notch. Keep up the good work! .

- emirhartato (8/5): Good stay but things can be improved - When it comes to Marriott Bonvoy brands, Moxy is normally at the bottom of my list. I just don't get the concept of mid-range, minimalistic, industrial-design, infused with hipster-vibes would work for my introvert travel style. However, I'm still curious about it and tried it for a whooping 7-nights stays. Turns out it's kind of cool experience. 1. Location: Moxy Bandung located in Juanda area, right at the major intersection. While this location offers plenty of dining options and coffee shops, this can be also a drwaback. The Juanda intersections is notoriously famous because it's always busy with traffic even at late night. Noise is a big deal, more on that later on. 2. Lobby/Reception: The lobby area is one of the highlights of Moxy. They really make it like it's an epicenter of different kind of activities. There is no front-desk, but you check-in at the bar. There are some board games, pool table, photo booth, claw-machine, a human-size teddy bear, and so on. The mezzanine level itself is more functioning as a co-working space which I used it more often. The crews are filled with young people yet ready to take care of all of the guests. No fancy uniforms, just a cool black T-shirt. I do wish they wear some name tags so we can address them in case we need anything or just to send them compliments. Overall, I'm impressed and start getting the vibe. 3. Room: This is a mid-range hotel so I don't expect any upgrades for every mid-range hotel as the number of premium rooms pretty much limited, however, I'm surprised that they still trying to compensate me because they cannot upgrade me by offrering a second welcome gift (free breakfast, points, or welcome amenities) which I appreciate (most hotels they just say "sorry"). The standard queen-bed size room is small at 20 sqm, but I'm a lone traveler so not a big deal for me. The room design especially the furniture has some IKEA vibes, but not a big deal. Even after I unfold the luggage rack, table, and chair, I still got enough space. However, I'm not a fan of the bean bag, it's so difficult to adjust and getting the comfort that I want. It's also blocking the light switch for the standing light. Lucikly the bed is comfortable! The bathroom has decent size. Shower has a good water pressure but unfortunately both rain and hand shower head are full of dirts. They provide 2 water bottles but if you need more water, you can go to ironing room and fill up the water jug on your own - clever idea. Mind you there is no fridge and no electric water kettle. You have to asked for the electric water kettle and availability is limited. The view from the 8th (if I remember correctly) is good, I can see greenery and mountains, but my room is facing exactly at the intersection. The wall and windows can't block much noise from the outside. Sometimes they also have some events on the rooftop bar and I definitely can hear the noise. So, if you're a light sleeper then I definitely recommend ask for some earplugs. 4. Lobby Restaurant: The breakfast served at the lobby restaurant, I stayed during ramadan and they do have suhoor service. I think the food option is decent, not too overwhelming, and they do have eggs and instant noodle corner. My feedback is the coffee machine, they only have one and it's very slow. Also the pull-cap glass bottle for the juice is not really my favorite, too much hassle just to open and close the cap. Food taste is not amazing but decent. The crew are friendly as usual. 5. Moxy Sky: While the Moxy Sky offers good view and good vibe, I'm disappointed that they only offer dinner buffet service during Ramadan usually targeted for group dining for break fasting. I think this is pretty much the same problem for many hotels in Indonesia. I normally avoid buffet, especially during break fasting time as it's too noisy, hectic, as well chaotic. I also always having proper dinner sometimes after 7pm where the crowds starts leaving. However, it is sad that the restaurant don't have ala carte service, not until 10pm which is dissapointing. They do offer in-room dining but I prefer to sit-in and enjoy the evening view. My final verdict, I'm enjoying my 7-nights stays despite of some issues that I have mentioned here. I do appreciate all the crew from the lobby, housekeeping, and so on, they are young but they really working hard to make all kind of guests (hipster or not) comfortable. They pretty much can't do much on the noise issue, but I do wish they can improve on other things. All the best Moxy Bandung!

Location is very good, walking distance to supermarket and pharmacy. Doesn't have refrigerator though. And in water dispenser, the cold water is not cold at all.
- AristoDZ (8/5): Moxy Bandung - stay here on the first weekend of 2025, as a bonvoy loyalist of course I want to try all the hotels in this network and one of the strategically located hotels in the city of Bandung is the three-star Moxy hotel located on Jalan Dago, only one km from Gedung Sate, Gasibu and the location of culinary cafes and coffee shops around Jalan Riau. The Industrial concept are very interesting, with colourfull loby area. The benefits that I get besides late check out until 16:00 specifically for platinum elite members are getting an upgrade for bigger room. Gym are available but ther’s no swimming pool facilities. The most iconic for this hotel ini the amazing view from the rooftop area.

- Greg (9/5): great choice for hotel in central bandung, thumbs up! - really liked this hotel. decor and fittings personally really liked. staff were all really great! breakfast is awesome....stayed 4 nights and every day different options for breakfast with good coffee. good views and nice rooftop bar. good central location plenty of restos/cafes close by. bandung very spread out but easily got gocars to get around when wanted to go further than walking distance. only little thing was the showers needed to be cleaned more thoroughly. but no big deal ...i would highly recommend this hotel and i would stay again if i returned to bandung.

Many coffee shop nearby and a good place to do morning Run. On Weekend you will find many photographer taking pictures of runner & selling it through the social media. ( instagram ). It's not compulsory to buy. For room, not too small . Just nice for 2 people. Breakfast is great ( so many choices )& gymnasium is up to date. Lastly, the staff are very friendly, attentive & helpful. Nothing

- Mashita (10/5): Cozy, comfortable stay in an exceptionally designed hotel! - Room was clean, exceptionally convenient and cozy. The use of the limited space was very effective and yet still designed aesthetically pleasing. Especially loved that they provided a non-slip mat, that the shower faucet was placed opposite of the shower head (much more convenient to adjust the water temp!), and the toiletries smelled amazing! All the staff were extremely, from the staff that handled the parking, to the receptionist, to even staff we passed in the hotel lobby. We had booked a room last minute and didn't manage to secure a double bed for a non-smoking room, but the receptionist was able to compensate our room with twin beds with a gorgeous mountain and city view on the top floor! Hotel was strategically located, parking is plenty, breakfast had many varieties and everything was good. Overall a very comfortable stay! Nothing at all! Everything was perfect! Kudos!
