- makdat2025 (10/5): Best experience so far. - I always stay at Somerset and the reason I always choose for them is because of the service, the location and the staff. This time my stay has been even better than I expected. Gamze went above and beyond to give me the best experience. She was so sweet and gave me an upgrade. During my check-out Talha was so accommodating, he made sure I had nothing to worry about and made sure my luggage’s got from my room to my car. If you call the reception they attend to your need immediately. I definitely recommend this hotel. The location is also 10 out of 10.

I also encourage all my company colleagues to choose Somerset Maslak Hotel. - All rooms have very large balcony so that you can rest there with friends and also see half of Istanbul :) - very clean room, toilet, bathroom and bedclothes and bed linings. -- you can add some more and usefull kitchen junk. Like different size pans, toaster etc.. -- breaksfast foods are delicious but i would be happier if you offer much more alternatives. Lastly, The breakfast area is narrow. we sometimes cannot find a table to sit.

I had a confirmation code but unfortunately it took more than 20 minute wait to sort out along with some minor issue regarding booking and paying more for an apartment with a view which was resolved after checking again with the supervisor. The Hotel location and quality are great and I’ll continue to book for my guests in the future.

- Bader (8/5): - I had to book this additional night just to be able to check out at 4 pm because the front desk employee said they are fully booked and can not give me a late checkout so infront of him I booked an additional night and told him apparently you are not fully booked and informed the manager of what happened and she said oh you just booked the last room.

- Gary (10/5): - The hotel was beautiful, everything about it was first class! The people who worked there did everything they could to make me happy to stay there. The only thing they didn't have, and said they couldn't legally sell was Rollaids, I forgot mine. That was my fault.
- Sara (4/5): Bad stay - There was a huge change in hotel condition comparing to my las stay in December 2021. The bed was not comfortable at all were it like there is a hole where when you lie down you sink in the bed. The cleanness is not good at all where when I checked in I saw a small piece of biscuit under TV table I said let me check tomorrow if they will clean it but till the day of check out the piece is there and the dust everywhere I don’t know how they were cleaning ; also the fridge when I open it was not clean; I know all hotels the water is complementary so I asked for water they told me it will be chargeable!!! .. requested to extra blanket the was no available blankets .. it was really horrible .. I selected the hotel because I stayed twice in December 2021 and it was amazing .. in 8 months only the hotel completely changed and became bad so sorry for that because the location is amazing but i won’t come back again till it improve

- FARAZ (2/5): The absolute WORST stay of my life - Where do I start? The management is utterly rude & dishonest! Surely seemed like the only qualification for the gig is a marginal command of English with no human decency to speak of whatsoever. On the first day of our stay, their awful terrace furniture broke & could've easily paralized a family member. She weighs no more than 65Kg, mind you with a history of spinal issues. Don't expect a gesture or an apology if you find yourself there. Not at sommerset! Secondly, if you use the garage, you must phone the front the desk to open the door upon entry and exit. They might buzz you in/out or at times you have to wait for an actual human to come let you OUT or IN. Without a phone? You're screwed. When asked why they wouldn't provide an entry card, 2 of the staff retorted that they "can only issue you one if your stay is 30 days or longer." Subsequently, the manager called both staff memebrs "liars" & even threatedned to "fire" them. So prepare to be treated like a second-class citizen if your stay is less than a month. If you have a modicum of self-respect, and value your spinal and mental health even remotely, stay clear of this place.

- Ali (2/5): - The hotel is not at a level of hygiene. The towels are sometimes dirty. There is no machine for making coffee. If you ask, you must pay an extra amount. Chairs on the balcony are broken. If you do not notice them, the chair fell. I do not recommend this hostel.
