- Verified traveler (10/5): Longefoy - Clean and comfortable hotel with super pleasant hosts. Nice restaurant with local food - large open fire, local free ski shuttle right outside the door (daily operating - except saturday - with hourly up and down trips) I rented a locker at Montalbert Intersport where I hired skis - Longefoy (pron.“Longshfoi”) is a steep but short walk 35 mins up 25 down to Montalbert base so you dint necessarily need to rely on the bus. There is one other cafe / restaurant in this small village - and plenty of options in Montalbert.

Emilie est aux petits soins pour vous faciliter votre séjour. Elle est très attentive et attentionnée. C'est très appréciable. Merci encore à elle.

We got picked up and when we arrived we had a vegan menu of the day! The waitress said they didn’t get many vegans, so we knew it was just for us. Considering they don’t get many vegans - the food was so good. Big portions and loads of flavours. A very friendly family run restaurant who went the extra mile to cater for us and make us feel so welcome. Merci!

La chambre très bien équipée, très propre et la literie impeccable. Les repas c'est le top : au petit déjeuner tout est fait maison et très complet, fruits, confitures délicieuses, crêpes, fromage et beaucoup d'autres propositions ... Le contact avec les propriétaires de l'hôtel et le personnel super : ambiance très familiale tout en bénéficiant d'un service de qualité. Le repas du soir fait avec des produits régionaux achetés le jour même par le patron qui nous propose des plats très raffinés, sans compter les desserts faits par son épouse qui aime mettre sa touche personnelle. La terrasse merveilleusement agencée et le coin jardin pour la détente. Situé dans une région magnifique qui propose de nombreuses randonnées en été et le ski l'hiver. Nous espérons avoir occasion d'y retourner. Nous recommandons cet établissement à tous.
- Rob769 (10/5): Such a friendly restaurant ! - We were recommended this small hotel restaurant by our friends and went for dinner on our last night in Montalbert. We were collected by Frederic in the hotel minibus outside our apartment and taken straight to the restaurant where we were greeted by the owners. The restaurant is decorated with incredible detail and it really felt as though we’d been invited for dinner at a friends house. We had the 3 course fixed menu with lots of choice , it was incredible value with great quality, reasonably priced wines and a lovely ambience . After dinner, Frederic dropped us straight back to our apartment , incredible ! We’ll certainly return !

The restaurant is an added bonus, it is decorated beautifully with a personal touch to each table. The food is just amazing, a little more expensive than other places we ate but worth it. Also they serve some lovely wine in the very comfortable bar area. There are fabulous walks straight out of the door or there is a free shuttle from the hotel up to Mount Albert which is beautiful.A wonderful stay and would certainly recommend you stay if you are in the area.

- neilsV4925JQ (10/5): Pre ski stop off b4 Tignes - Small hotel in quiet little village, used for stop off en-route to Tignes for a ski week. Room was cosy but clean, you need no more. We had an evening meal, owner is chef and proud, no condiments on table, perfect let the chef prepare the food the way it should be and it was delicious, in fact the best meal we had on holidays. small menu too which for me is always a good sign, it tends to mean they do what they offer very well and this chap certainly does. We spoke to other guests who had been coming back for a number years and if the food is that good i can see why.
- robsX8947VL (10/5): SUPERB LUNCH IN MERIBEL - Another super lunch in L'adray telebar at Rond Point Meribel. Escalope du veal in a delicious wild mushroom sauce. (30e). Giant portion with really tasty chips. With a half bottle of local red the bill was 45 euros. Great value in a quality restaurant. Why pay a bit less and get average food I say.
- lemmyw (10/5): Wonderfull stay at L'Adray - I've visited this place in the first week of march 2017 and what a great experience that was. I was already looking forward to going, as a seasonair i've heard a lot of great stuff about this place over the years. Now it was our time to see things first hand. I was pleased to see the positive comments were not exaggerated. I can go tell you guys all about how dinner was excellent not only by the way the food was presented or tasted or how warm and homy they decorated the place or how kind the people serving there were but i would rather not. I believe anyone who wants to visit the area should concider staying in this hotel / restaurant and see for yourself. The rooms were cosy and neat, i'll add some pictures. Enjoy french hospitality at it's best with a very strong authentic touch to the region and mountains!
- Sserby (10/5): Great for a holiday with kids - We went there with our 3 kids to spend a week at the mountains: it was great. We had the family room which was clean, big enough to fit all 5 of us and had everything we needed. The sky slopes and sky school are 5 minutes away and the sleigh slopes are just next to the hotel. The food was also great and the hospitality at its best. There is a free private parking. I am sure there are lits of things to do in summer as in winter. Thank you for your reception, we'll try and come back!
- 999Mark (10/5): A great Boutique Hotel - We had a family room and it was perfect. Could easily stay for a week in summer or winter. We are a family of 4 ( 2 teenagers) . Free wifi. Food in restaurant fab. The actual room has all facilities you need included cooker, fridge bedding towels.
- T4109KAmariaa (10/5): Superior Customer Service - We stayed at the week this hotel opened (December 2013) for a week covering New Year. We expected teething troubles but there were none. On the contrary, the self catered accommodation was well appointed, tastefully decorated and a joy to return to at the end of a days skiing. Our hosts were charming and the food superb. We tried to go back (a first for us to want to return somewhere) but their reputation has spiralled and they were full.
