Great location with easy access to the short cliff top walk into town and some great restaurants. Lovely breakfast at the Old Station Cafe which was included in the stay. Would highly recommend. Die normale familiäre Gästehaus-Konversation mit anderen Gästen bleibt vollständig aus. - Direkt an der Haupt Straße - Veraltete Ausstattung/ wird wohl im Mai/ Jun 2026 renoviert - Super Alte, laute Klimaanlagen

• Frank (8/5): Schönes kleines Anwesen - Der Blick aus dem Fenster auf das Meer war schon schön , obwohl doch einige Meter dazwischen lagen . Die Nähe zum Ortszentrum (10 Minuten vielleicht) . Zimmer jeden Tag top . Schöner kleiner Pool ( haben wir nicht genutzt ) Das Bad , ein paar unschöne Dinge , es war zwar alles funktionstüchtig . Aber der WC Deckel darf einem bei der Benutzung nicht ständig in den Rücken fallen . Die Duscharmatur könnte auch einmal getauscht werden , man muss viel Wasser laufen lassen um die richtige Temperatur zu finden .

Wir konnten unsere Wäsche waschen lassen, wir haben zahlreiche Tipps bekommen, Empfehlungen , die Aussicht war großartig. Das Haus liegt an der Straße was aber nicht stört, die Gegend ist sicher, man kann die Küste und Umgebung zu Fuß erkunden. Absolut empfehlenswert das Frühstück, finde ich okay in einem Café, uns hat das Angebot nicht gefallen, andere fanden es aber gut

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolut empfehlenswert! Die Gastgeberin Kirsten ist super herzlich und zuvorkommend. Die Lage ist ebenfalls top: In wenigen Gehminuten (einmal über die Straße) erreicht man den berühmten Cliff Walk von Hermanus.

She went out of her way to make our stay special – even organizing a vegan breakfast for me, although it wasn’t on the café menu. The rooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own charm, and the whole house smells amazing. We loved the spacious lounge upstairs with its view over the bay and the honesty bar – such a cozy place to relax. Kirsten also gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations, not only for the area but even for the next stop on our trip. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk to the Cliff Path and about 10–15 minutes to the town centre. We felt completely at home and would love to come back one day!

• Fenna (10/5): Super host, amazing view, near the beach! - Kirsten is the most lovely host you can meet! We got an amazing romantic welcome for our honeymoon but also had the most thoughtful care during our stay. If clothes are in need of a little ironing it’s handled super fast. It’s the best stay you could book! The rooms are decorated with care and the ocean view is lovely! The road next to home stay is quite loud so if you are sensitive to loud noises bring earplugs. Also breakfast is in a local place nearby but requires a little walk. The breakfast is amazing so it’s worth the little walk :)
• Sara (10/5): Cómodo y bien ubicado. - Kristine es una anfitriona fabulosa. Nos ayudó a buscar restaurantes y salida al mar. La habitación es muy cómoda y tranquila, con muchos detalles. La ubicación es muy buena y nos sorprendió también lo bueno que está el desayuno en The Station. Súper recomendable.
• A (10/5): Heerlijk luxe verblijf op mooie locatie. - Super mooie accommodatie vlak aan het pad langs het water om de walvissen te spotten. Kirsten de hoost is super vriendelijke, geeft goede adviezen en tips en regelt eventuele reserveringen super snel voor je! Hermanus is op 8 minuten lopen en als je in het licht de kunstroute neemt kan je nog een walvis spotten. Overal langs de route staan bankjes om van het uitzicht te genieten. De kamer die wij hadden op de begane grond was super goed geoutilleerd en van alle gemakken voorzien. De shampoo etc van Amanda Jane ruiken heerlijk en verzorgen de huid 👍. Het ontbijt wat op 5 min lopen verzorgd wordt door The Ststion was ook heerlijk. Tip neem de granola versie 😉. Al met al een super fijn verblijf.
• Marco (10/5): Lovely guesthouse at Hermanus - We had a wonderful stay at Kirsten’s guesthouse! She welcomed us so warmly and was always super friendly and helpful — we really appreciated the personal contact and the great communication via WhatsApp. The guesthouse and rooms are beautifully decorated with lots of attention to detail, and the location is perfect — just a short walk to the town center and the hiking trail. Highly recommended!

We even received a handwritten note welcoming us and sharing details about the weather and other useful information. Both the room and the bathroom were very spacious and spotless. The host was incredibly nice, and the bathroom products were of excellent quality. Only 2 long chairs at the shared swimming pool

• Nina (10/5): - Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Die Innenstadt ist ebenfalls super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Whale Whatching Touren kann man auch über die Unterkunft buchen. Gerne wieder! 10/10

• Mirella (10/5): Einfach Perfekt - Es war mehr als PERFEKT! Kirsten hat uns Herzlich aufgenommen. Das Zimmer, das Tolle Haus - die Lage das Frühstück TOP! Abends konnten wir entspannt im Badesalz Baden. Luxus Utensilien vorhanden. Netflix konnten wir abends schauen. EMPFEHLUNG: Wenn ihr zur WAHLSESION kommt SKYBAR! Wir haben an zwei Tagen viele Wale gesehen! Viel besser als von der Küste aus. Abends sind Wale vor unserer Nase gesprungen! Wir saßen 7stunden 😄 Es Lohnt sich!!! Vielen Dank Kirsten & das Team!

The location was great, and the breakfast outside in „Station“ was rich and delicious. We also received very helpful explanations about the surroundings, and the communication before and during our stay was very friendly, with lots of useful tips.
