Guest Reviews
- The Oxley's (10/5): Unbelievable accommodation near Bath and short taxi ride from the Pig, 4 miles away - Welcome food, location, property layout and furnishings and cleanliness. Outdoor patio area a plus, and a true home from home.
Lots of small added bonuses with this property, where everything has been well thought through. Could have done with some face cloths/flannels, but a minor point.
- Carolyn (10/5): A very comfortable place to stay as a base. - The property was spacious and very clean. The provisions left were great - bread, crumpets, cereal, eggs and jam for breakfast plus crisps biscuits, fruit, a bottle of wine, juice, squash and milk and a great bowl of sweets. A great choice of tea and coffee as well.
Thank you to Fleur and James for making our stay so comfortable. Nothing
- Rajinder (10/5): Every box clicked properly accordingly consumer needs - Absolutely fantastic management
- Hope (10/5): -

- Claire (8/5): Great location for Bath and a cozy cottage. - We liked the warmth, the comfy beds, and the ease of communication with the hosts. The bedrooms were spacious and the showers were good - thanks for having us! Most of the cottage was spotless - so it was a shame that there were pieces of biscuit under the coffee table and loads of handprints on the TV. We also found Peppa Pig phone under the bed!
- Timothy (9/5): - Very well appointed with great facilities and provisions, clean, comfortable, excellent value for money. There is a little traffic noise from the road - not much, but it isn't perfectly quiet. Was the EV charger on the property available to guests? - that would be useful to know.
- Andreas (10/5): Sehr gemütlich, sehr komfortabel, super unkompliziert! Absolute Empfehlung! -
- Nikita (10/5): - Everything . Especially the eye to detail . The owners have thought about everything to make the stay perfect
- Emily (10/5): Excellent stay with brilliant facilities -
- Richard (10/5): - Very comfortable, well equipped cottage with everything you could need & more. Nice touch with full breakfast options, and a big bowl of sweets! Easy drive into Bath. Nothing.
- Dejan (10/5): We just loved it - It was beautiful cottage. Tidy and clean. Spacious and nice and quiet.
- Wayne (10/5): Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with or without a family! - Everything! Beautifully thought out with lovely fittings and facilities throughout! Lovely and clean and breakfast facilities were fabulous!
Great location too! Nothing!
- Maria (9/5): Excellent stay and would return - Cleanliness, supplies available size of bedrooms and comfort of beds This is a really minor thing but the remote control for the living room TV was very difficult to use.
- John (10/5): - Clean. Beautiful. Spacious. My wife and I love this place. So well decorated and everything works. These folks really care about their guests. Will stay again for sure. Stayed in Paris and London during trip, as well, but this was the highlight. Relaxing. Nothing.
- Brinda (9/5): Very comfortable and very clean accommodation with good breakfast items provided. - The property owners had left us sufficient and varied food and drink for breakfast. Everything was spotless and cleaned to a high standard. Fridge had cold water and ice. Bedrooms were decorated tastefully. Good place to stay to get away from a big city. The location was a bit far away from town and any shops. You needed a car to get to any of the shops.
There was no garden for kids to run around in. Sound of traffic could be heard from the bedroom.
But on the whole a good property to stay in.
- Welbourne (9/5): We had a brilliant 3-night stay here just after Christmas. The cottage was immaculately clean and very spacious. It was -
- Caroline (10/5): A beautiful, modern, luxurious cottage with absolutely everything we needed for a fabulous friends getaway. - A beautiful cottage with high quality fixtures and fittings, extremely comfortable beds, charming decor and a wonderful supply of fresh produce including bread, milk, butter, eggs, fresh orange, jams and cereals.
A 10 minute Uber into Bath city centre for the Christmas market was great value at £15. Nothing. The cottage was perfect. I’d definitely get an Uber rather than trying to figure out the bus journey into Bath which required a change and weren’t that frequent.
- Cheryl (9/5): Great location beautiful decor great breakfast choices and food produce included - Everything was lovely, location, beds, showers etc A little cold downstairs
- Meaghan (10/5): -
- Lindsey (10/5): Just brilliant - Everything you need, very comfortable and very spacious and stylish Nothing
- Lorraine (9/5): Fantastic cottahe
We're just - The cottage was fabulous. The owners went above & beyond to ensure we had a great stay. We loved the Christmas tree & decorations. There was food & juice in the cupboards & fridge for us. Even a bottle of wine & snacks.
The cottage was spotlessly clean. There was nothing to dislike
- Joanne (10/5): -
- Howells (10/5): It added to a very special occasion. Made getting ready for a wedding very easy and enjoyable - Clean, modern, spacious, well equipped with extra touches. Good parking. Quiet.
Excellent base to attend family wedding Nothing
- Lorejie (9/5): Overall, we had a great stay. We enjoyed and loved the place, the countryside, and the people. - The location is around 10-15 mins drive to Bath center. There is no served breakfast in general, but there are items in the refrigerator and pantry that would provide your needs for breakfast, such as a dozen of eggs, milk, juice, jam, cereals, bread, coffee and tea. There's also a bottle of wine, some cookies and chips, and loads of candies in a big bowl to enjoy! The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are big enough and equipped with nice towels and soap and shampoo. Overall, our stay was very nice and cozy warm. The hosts, Fleur and James were very quick to reply and accommodating. This cottage is fully equipped with all your needs. It was a home away from home. Do we recommend this place? Yes, it is highly recommended. Do we stay here again in the future visits? Yes, we will. Nothing in particular. The cottage is comfortable for a family. If you have elderly, the stairs might be a challenge as it is a little steep. There is no bathroom in the living area, so if you need to, you have to go to the second floor. Fortunately, It was not an issue for us.
- Katherine (10/5): -
- Lynn (9/5): A lovely cottage. - Very nicely furnished, good quality kitchen appliances. Spotlessly clean. Lovely bathrooms.
Great to have breakfast provided but lots of extra treats too, eg bottle of wine. Very well maintained. I found one of the beds a little hard but everyone else was fine. None of us were keen on the pillows. Duvets felt a bit lightweight.
- Charles (10/5): Great property. Would love to return for a longer stay - Fantastic facilities. Lots of little extras provided. Plenty of breakfast supplies. Nothing
- Irene (9/5): Will love to come back again. - The cottage was very neat and clean, everything in it was perfect. We enjoyed our lovely stay in the beautiful home. Nothing at all. We like everything in it.
- sharlene (10/5): - Place environment easy access to barh The cleaning could be higher
- Heather (10/5): Would definitely book again, everything was totally there. Odd Down Park and Ride just down the road so convenient for g - Everything, exceptional facilities throughout, hosts exceptional. Breakfast supplies above and beyond what we expected. Absolutely nothing.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great location to stay near Priston mill for wedding. - Great cottage with plenty of room for six people.
Beds, pillows,and sofas comfy.
Toiletries and supply of food an unexpected bonus.
Thank you for the wine.
Lovely private patio area with tables and chairs .
Plenty of parking.
Pubs and coop nearby.
- Nadav (10/5): - This was by far the best stay we had during our holiday to the UK. The house was very clean and quiet and we got all the essentials we need. The place has a very big and nice patio to seat at and a big parking place. Also, even on the side of the road, it had a great view and no sound from the passing cars. Nothing, all was good
- Gillian (10/5): - The accommodation was ideal for our party of 5 and superbly located just outside Bath but easy to access by car or park & ride. It is extremely well equipped and the sheltered courtyard was an excellent space to enjoy food and drink. When the weather is not so kind, the open plan living area is a great space.
Breakfast was provided & for our stay included bread, crumpets, cereals, milk, butter, jams, fruit juices, yoghurts, eggs, fruit, biscuits, etc.
Beds were very comfy and everywhere spotlessly clean.
- BOB (9/5): A lovely place to stay in a lovely part of England. - A good location in a lovely, thoughtfully renovated cottage. The interior was finished to a high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Welcoming and comfortable with a good homely feel. The road is quite noisy, especially at night. A little bit of a problem on warm nights when you need the bedroom window open. It's not a big problem but noticeable if you're used to the quiet.
- Clare (9/5): Lovely cosy cottage! - Cosy cottage, great high end appliances and everything you needed.
Some extra essentials, food, wine and toiletries included.
Fans in bedrooms, a welcome addition given the hot weather. Suggest a washing up bowl in kitchen sink for washing glasses etc as although a dish washer in kitchen some items like wine glasses need to be hand washed.
- Anju (6/5): It’s ok - Property is spacious and good for stay We came their to relax and enjoy with friends but the neighbours were rude to us and shouted on us, it can be dealt in a better way, parking space provided but can’t park the car in that space… that was really not good
- Christine (10/5): -
- Jodhi (9/5): Amazing! - The hosts have thought of everything you might need and more. The space is well thought out and we were wowed by the property. We were spoilt with how much was on offer for breakfast, snacks and to drink. The curtains and blinds do allow natural light so we were all awake early. Bring a black out blind and you'll be fine.
- Bimbola (8/5): This was the perfect get away spot for the family to celebrate my mum’s big birthday.she absolutely loved thecottahe and - The cottage is beautiful, very comfortable and well equipped. It had everything we needed from well stocked kitchen complete with relevant utensils, to TVs in all rooms, as well as the living room. I honestly can’t think of anything that we didn’t like.
- Kirsty (10/5): Everything you could possibly want and more. - The property was absolutely stunning with plenty of room. It was clean, comfortable and well stocked with food and drinks. Close to the wedding venue that we were attending. Would return and would highly recommend I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like.
- Michael (10/5): Excellent - Very high standards overall.
- Laura (10/5): Brilliant- highly recommend - Everything was catered for and thought of, hosts went above and beyond on an already exceptional house. It was all great!
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Excellent Property
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, couldn't believe how much items they provided for us to make our stay even better, definitely recommend to anyone who would stay there Nothing
- Mariann (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emma (10/5): A great place to spend time with family and friends. - Beautiful cottage and everything there you could wish for.
Breakfast food, wine, biscuits etc.. provided was great. Loved your toaster and Kettle.
Bedrooms were all of a good size and beds were comfortable.
Great base for exploring. Nothing it was a lovely property and would recommend to anyone.
Would have liked black out curtains but that is just my preference.
- Joni (10/5): Exceptional - Spotlessly clean. Equipped with everything you could need or want. Beautifully furnished with plenty of seating and lovely comfy beds.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Avril (10/5): Great Cottage - Beautiful cottage, lovely rooms, comfy bedrooms. Bathrooms were great.
Outside was a courtyard with table and chairs that in the summer you could sit, eat and enjoy the space.
The lounge and kitchen gave us everything we wanted.
Our hosts supplied a great choice for breakfast. It was an amazing stay. We look forward to coming back again. Nothing to dislike.
- Grace (10/5): Love it! - Property is beautiful and very clean, James and Fleur provided everything that we need. They are very generous with the continental breakfast. It’s very comfortable and we’ll be back if we go back to Bath. Beds are small
- J.p (9/5): Comfortable cottage great finish and welcome - Lovely warm comfortable cottage , some nice touches to make us feel welcome It was great , our stay was too short would have stayed longer and no hesitation to go back
- Beverly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashfaq (10/5): Stunning on all measures. An amazing property! - Wow! What a place and we must comment on the amazing hosts, James and Fleur. We broke down on the way to the cottage and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you both! Camerton Inn is a lovely property that is beautifully maintained and looked after. Whilst it’s a few minutes drive from Bath, we loved the location and space it afforded us. We previously stayed in the centre but this location was just perfect. We arrived to fresh fruit, biscuit’s, tea/coffee and fruit juices. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you wanted to eat for breakfast. The rooms are spacious, and again, beautifully decorated and maintained. The lounge is massive and open plan and great for all the family. We also couldn’t believe and fault the price. This is, by far, one of the best places we’ve stayed in. We will certainly be back.
- Davina (10/5): Truely a great stay. - This cottage is probably one of the best places I have stayed in. It is beautifully decorated, spacious and very well equiped. The beds are very comfortable. Fleur and James had left us with all sorts of goodies including coffee, teas, biscuits, fruit, bread, wine and a huge bowl of sweets that my kids couldn't keep their hands out of!
- Linda (9/5): Very enjoyable stay in the cottage, all needs met. - Welcoming and homely, facilities were excellent, good choice of food for breakfast and all good quality. All toiletries provided were good quality. Comfortable settee and beds. Quiet location within a 20 minutes of Bath park and ride. Steps down too cottage could do with a hand rail, poorly lit at night.
- Andy (10/5): Exceptional! - High-quality, beautifully and comfortably furnished, very clean throughout, very comfy beds, a spacious cottage. The welcome pack was amazing with a wide variety of choices, including provisions for breakfasts. The kitchen contained everything you need. Location was good for exploring the area by car. A beautiful cottage, virtually everything was perfect. Wished we'd had a longer booking and would definitely stay here again. We've stayed in many holiday property rentals in the UK, and this is by far the best we've ever stayed in. As international travellers doing online banking, it would have been beneficial to have secured wifi with a better signal. The stone steps leading to the cottage were extremely slippery (we had snow) and a handrail would have been useful.
- Jenny (10/5): Perfect for a weekend break! - What a lovely, well presented property, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! So many really thoughtful touches and in a great location to travel into Bath. We couldn’t fault it! Thank you Shower pipe is noisy, but that’s me being v v picky and didn’t detract from the high standards of the property!
- James (10/5): perfect - Very friendly hostel, beautiful property and everything thst is needed
- Richky1 (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was absolutely amazing, it was total quality in every respect. Perfect location. The amenities were great, they had thought of everything (shower caps, vanity kits etc).
Lovely bedding, amazing rain shower, perfect heating.
The best thing though was the cleanliness! It was an absolutely perfect stay in every way, thank you so much
- Carl (9/5): Superb - Even the most demanding of guests will struggle to find anything disagreeable with this most excellent cottage. Credit to the owners for there attention to detail, both in, interior comforts and hospitality with regards to an impressive offering of breakfast provisions. Nothing relating to the actual cottage but I did not enjoy exiting the car park; there were poor sight lines onto the main road (probably ok in a 4 x 4) due to the perimeter wall on the right hand side. Personally I think a metal railed fence would be a sensible alternative.
- Gail (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - One of the best rentals I’ve stayed in. Beautifully furnished. Exceptionally clean. Everything you could possibly want or need. A definite 10. Great location surrounded by gorgeous views. It was a short drive to the park and ride which took us directly into the heart of Bath. Excellent
- Honour (10/5): Such a lovely weekend away! - Beautiful, comfortable place to stay. This house is very well equipped, and the breakfast food was amazing too! We had such a lovely stay here. The place is around a 20 minute drive from the town centre and 10 minutes to the nearest park and ride. I would highly recommended! Having a car is very helpful if you are going to stay here as it is around 20 minutes drive from the town centre.
- Sophie (10/5): Perfect cosy cottage - A beautiful cottage in a lovely rural location just a short drive into Bath.
We found the cottage really comfortable and perfectly equipped for a weekend stay, with a huge selection for breakfast provided.
Comfy sofas with enough space for the whole group.
Excellent provisions in the bedrooms for each guest (vanity kit/shower cap/face cloths/toiletries in the showers/hairdryer). The owners have thought of everything.
Really cosy for a winter stay but would be lovely in summer with the patio seatings area! No complaints from our group 😊
- James (10/5): Very welcoming and a perfect layover between Stone Henge and Bath - It was well equipped, very comfortable and homely. One of the curtain poles fell down when I tried to draw it. Very minor but that was it.
- Sonia (10/5): Amazing comfortable and very welcoming - Housed 6 of us comfortably Nothing it was great
- Sue (9/5): great stay, lovely location and very well appointed property with first class attention to detail - All was perfect with the property and our stay, my only comment is that I was travelling with two elderly people and there were no hand rails going down the outside steps or in the shower cubical which could help if you have older visitors. my only other comment is that the key box was not very easy to find in the dark but overall the stay was great and the property superb handrail on the outside step would help older guests and possibly a hand hold in the shower
- Amy (10/5): A great place to stay, home from home! - Beautifully decorated and has a cosy feel, breakfast provisions were plenty and the kitchen was well equipped - we managed to cook Christmas dinner there! Location was good for accessing Bath (we used the local park and ride) and local pubs within walking distance.
- Ian (10/5): Snug, warm, welcoming - everything you could possibly want on a cold winter's night. - What a fantastic property. We arrived at around 8.30pm on a cold winter's night having spent the day outside at Longleat. The house was toasty, decked out in Christmas decorations and lights. It was like walking into a warm hug. The facilities were top notch - everything you could possibly think of needing was there, and all in very good condition. The 3 bedrooms were all big, and amply supplied with plump pillows and fresh towels. Both showers were powerful, and the toiletries were generous. Best of all was how well stocked the fridge and the cupboards were - we had everything from ice to biscuits. Not only was there plenty for breakfast, you could have rustled up dinner and tea with the food provided. A wonderful stay. Thank you. This is a really minor complaint: there were plenty of decaf choices when it came to teas, but we would have loved it if there'd been decaf coffee as well. But hey, that's really, really minor!
- Joy (10/5): Fantastic stay home from home . - Everything was perfect . Home from home . It’s our 3rd stay with our family from Australia . We could not want anymore . Comfortable , clean and loads of provisions left for us . There is nothing we didn’t like . The only thing I would say , can you put a hand rail on the outside steps . It would help me get down the steps with a hand rail .
- Amy (10/5): Gorgeous Christmas Stay - This property was amazing! We booked our stay as a festive catch up so that we could travel into Bath for the Christmas markets. It is ideally located 15 minutes taxi ride away from the centre and the facilities were gorgeous. The property was also decorated for Christmas which made our trip extra special and Christmasy
- Gillian (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage is beautiful! It is very comfortable, very well equipped and very clean. There were breakfast ingredients provided and extras!
There are nice places to eat nearby and easy to get into Bath. There was nothing not to like. We had a wonderful stay.
- Maria (10/5): Excellent top class accommodation. Couldn’t ask for anything else ! - What a fabulous property ! The photos looked amazing but when we got there the reality was so much better. A truly beautiful house with everything you need for a relaxing night away from home. The sofas were a bit too swidgey for me but everyone else in my group was comfortable but other than that no complaints at all x. Except leave a pen with your visitors book and then we can fill it in x a truly marvellous weekend. Wish we could have stayed longer x
- Amalina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reena (10/5): Gold star - Everything was fantastic and we were all happy! Everything worked and was good quality. The food and treats left for us exceeded our expectations. None of the doors or furniture creaked. Kitchen items were top spec and clean. Bedrooms were great and warm. Bathrooms were super clean. So many treats! Location was perfect. It's a really really good gold star cottage. Genuinely can't think of anything.
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tenzin (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Camerton excellence - the generous food supplied, the welcome, the cleanliness, the situation, the ease of it all nothing to advise
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wonill (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (10/5): Excellent cottage for a family get together. - Lovely cottage in an ideal situation for attending a wedding at Priston Mill. Spacious, beautifully clean and very well appointed. More mugs and perhaps some tea cups. Also a sink plug that stays in!
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - What a fabulous place, attention to detail was outstanding, and everything was thought of. Would most certainly recommend this beautiful place. Absolutely nothing.
- Lucilla (8/5): Very comfortable and excellent value for money - The property was excellent and we were really grateful for the breakfast and snacks provided, which were very generous. There were a couple of good places to eat out nearby. Unfortunately the smoke alarms started bleeping
3 or 4 times during the first night, but this was rectified the following day and it didn’t happen again.
- Jackie (9/5): Fabulous property, loved our stay here - This property is absolutely beautiful, really well thought out and with a host of thoughtful touches which all contributed to making our stay really lovely Not a dislike but it would have been great if there had been a downstairs toilet
- Sam (8/5): Cosy cottage feel. - Very clean, cosy, lots of mod cons.Everthing there you could need, especially food in the fridge.close to bath city, but away from the hustle and bustle. Pillows for all of us way too soft unfortunately. And really needed a blind in one of the rooms as it let's in alot of light.
- Terri (10/5): Great stay in a wonderful cottage. Perfect location for out weekend away. - The house was really modern, comfortable, luxurious and extremely clean, with nice touches all around. The room sizes were spacious, immaculate quality linen and extremely comfortable beds, along with plush carpets on the stairs and in the bedrooms. The breakfast and snacks left were a lovely touch, and meant we didn’t have to immediately rush to the shops for provisions. Nothing to not like.
- Susan (9/5): Weekend stay to attend wedding: house is beautifully presented and we had a very comfortable stay. - Very well furnished and comfortable. Lots of yummy provisions supplied and the bottle of wine was very much appreciated Nothing
- Lisa (10/5): Perfect, homely and far better than a hotel stay, this should be the first choice when visiting Bath . - The property is perfect , the cosy luxurious feel as soon as you walk in was just the start. The bedrooms were as lovely as the rest of the property. The beds were really comfortable, bed linen was exceptional and cosy and the furniture throughout made the whole house feel cosy , warm and homely.
The little touches ,that the owner leaves ready as you arrive ,of eggs, bread, milk , wine and biscuits and sweets etc were really appreciated and were above expectation .
We will definitely stay here again when we visit Bath. Bath was just a 10 minute Uber ride away , and being slightly out of the hustle and bustle of the town it was lovely and peaceful. There is nothing to dislike.
- Carol (10/5): A beautifully presented cottage in a gorgeous location. You won’t want to leave! - Wow what a beautifully renovated cottage. The decor, the facilities and the equipment provided were all of the highest quality. Our hosts were incredibly thoughtful and we felt so well cared for - from leaving lights on for us, as we were arriving very late, to the delicious goodies left for breakfast. We wished we could have stayed longer. We will be back!
- Liberty (10/5): Absolutely wonderful- can not recommend enough!! - Could not rate this property enough- absolutely beautiful very well organised, the appliances in the property were fantastic and the attention to detail ie the food and drink provided was lovely I loved it all however my only watch out ( which is by no means down to the host ) is the stairs are a little steep so if your a tad unsteady on your feet - be careful!
- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - Provisions left were outstanding nothing
- Nadeem (10/5): Lovely clean modern property, ideal for a family break. -
- Louise (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Loved everything about the property couldn’t of asked for more I didn’t dislike anything about the property
- Sally (10/5): Best cottage we have rented - highly recommend - Absolutely fantastic stay...visiting the area for a family wedding at Priston Mill.
Could not fault a thing....and Fleur was very helpful.
Beautiful Cottage which none of us wanted to leave.
Will certainly return ☺. Nothing

It’s exceptional, clean comfortable and the detail and thought given to making your stay effortless is remarkable
We are definitely going back p
