Guest Reviews
- rachael (9/5): Peaceful, tranquil and comfortable. - Amazing location and property! Very clean and had everything you could need! Loved it and would love to come back in the future Nothing major just would have been nice to have some blankets for when it gets chillier on an evening.
- Katie (10/5): Absolutely fantastic, beautiful property, great hosts ♥️ - Easy to find, beautiful location, secluded, cosy, loved the log burner, added bonus of a hit tub outside. Everything you could possibly want for a romantic retreat away.
We would definitely love to stay here again. Lovely little village, lots of trails, Country pubs and great places to visit for food.
- Ben (10/5): Lovely cottage, very comfortable, great location. - A lovely cottage with excellent facilities, situated in close proximity to many local attractions as well as shops, restaurants and pubs.
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Fred (6/5): Nice location but let down by poor cleanliness throughout the property. - Nice location amongst the trees. Good welcome box. Good shower pressure. The holiday home wasn’t cleaned to a good standard. Kitchen especially. Dirty plate left inside microwave. Cutlery, plates and glasses were greasy and needed cleaning before use. Bed sheets smelt bad.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect getaway with everything you need already at the property
- Carrie (10/5): PERFECT GETAWAY - This cottage is the perfect gem, hidden in the hills, cosy, romantic and is a gorgeous getaway. Will be returning for sure and recommending to friends & family. N/A
- Wim (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (10/5): Beili Glas - The secluded setting, lots of helpful local info, especially about walks and cycling.
Also it was very nicely designed and comfortable Everything very good
- Karen (8/5): Enjoyable relaxing stay in lovely, quiet secluded cottage. - Lovely secluded cottage in a great location for exploring South Wales.
Welcome pack was an added bonus and excellent info on Explore South Wales website provided by the host. Carrying shopping bags to the cottage 😆. Couldn’t park outside the cottage and the hill was very steep to and from the car park.
- Stephen (10/5): Cycling around Pontardawe - Location is beautiful
Cottage is charming
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely cottage, beautifully views. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, close to shops, motorway.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Parvathi (9/5): Beautiful home in a lovely location! - lovely ambiance. well located and lots of walking pathways around. easy to get to a superstore and everything is thoughtfully arranged for you to be able to cook a meal for yourselves if necessary. very cosy home and definitely recommend! nothing really.
- Amie (9/5): Lovely stay in a hidden getaway - The whole cabin was excellent, great layout, lovely bedroom and hot shower. Welcome biscuits, tea and coffee provided. Really enjoyed the outlook from the bedroom in the mornings. We were able to walk into town quite easily without using our car. There were some lovely touches in the cabin. Was quite chilly, definitely worth using the log burner if you can. There's a radiator in the lounge and bedroom but if it's chilly it doesn't really warm up very well. There's a steep walk to the cabin (we left our car in the car park above the cabin for most of our stay) so walked up and down the hill when we were there. Fine for us but you do need to be able to cope with a steep hill.
- Ian (10/5): excellent all round - fantastic accommodation nothing
- Aurélie (10/5): Wonderful experience, would stay there again in a heartbeat ! - I liked everything ! The property was even more charming then in pictures ! Maybe a little bit more lights in the living room, but otherwise it was more than perfect !
- Xo (10/5): we had An amazing stay not far away from beaches shopping centres there was always something to do. - it was lovely and clean really felt like your own home. we really liked the map that helped figure out what to do and where to go the location access isn’t easy being on a steep hill.
- Jones (9/5): Superb -
- Hayley (10/5): A gorgeous cottage in quiet natural surroundings - Location was beautiful, far enough away from noise but close enough to everything we needed. Steep hill to get to, but this was not an issue for us.
- Olivia (10/5): lovely hosts, lovely place -
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was lovely clean and cosy with plenty of space for the 3 of us. The location was very quiet and felt secluded while being close to the town. Nothing!
- Becca (9/5): A lovely little cottage - The cottage is lovely and in a great location. We enjoyed exploring the local area on the bikes that you can hire from the hosts, and we also went kayaking and paddle boarding on a local lake. The facilities at the cottage are great and the welcome package with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/biscuits was a nice touch. We loved the house plants and the cottage beams and exposed brick work. We were unable to figure out how to put together the sofa bed but we made it work - some instructions for this in the welcome book would be great. There is also no blocking out the sun from the living room which affects your sleep on the sofa bed, especially in summer when the sun sets late and rises early.
- andrew (10/5): Great cottage. - Secluded but close enough to everything you need. A nice hidden gem of a place that we are delighted to have found.
- Nina Iren (10/5): - Veldig idyllisk sted. Greit utstyrt kjøkken og god standard generelt. Flott beliggenhet og kort vei til nasjonalparken og fine turområder.
- Mrs Ruth Davies (10/5): Relaxed short break - Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location,
Everything you could wish for in the property, recommend the Butchers arms for food, thank you
- Vicki (10/5): Amazing!! - Beili Glas Cottages is just perfect. It's hidden in beautiful surroundings, the views are beautiful.
We stayed for 3 nights and it was just perfect for the 2 of us. We wanted a relaxing get away and boy was it!! The fire Place is just to die for and heats up really well the bed is by far the most comfy bed I've ever slept in.
There are some beautiful walks and cycle paths right on the door step which we tried and loved. There are some really beautiful hidden paths leading to waterfalls, streams and meadows. It really is a beautiful place that we will for sure be returning to.
The host was lovely, checked on us once and then left us to it but was always on the end of the phone if needed. I would highly recommend this place. STUNNING!!
