L’emplacement proche de tout Juste quelques détails avec bienveillance parce que c’est franchement des détails qui ne remettent pas en cause le charme, le confort et la propreté de l’hôtel que nous avons vraiment apprécié Dans notre douche il y avait des scotchs antidérapant à remplacer (chambre 6), une petite étagère a côté du lavabo serait pratique (chambre 5 et 6). Dans la chambre 5, le frigo fait du bruit et la douche a tendance à mettre de l’eau un peu partout quand on l’utilise.

• Laura (10/5): Perfect for my short solo stay in Zabbar - There was great attention to detail. The owner and staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The bed was very comfortable too and it was in a quiet location but still walking distance to the centre of the town & 3 cities. Delicious breakfast and peaceful garden / pool area. I struggled to open the front door but I'm resident on the Maltese islands and it's common here, so I am used to that and it wasn't a problem.

• Jocelyn (8/5): Small and unique: A special place! - The size of Lemon Tree guest house was perfect- only 6 rooms. Traditional building with no high rise buildings in sight. It was within walking distance of the Three cities and 5 minute walk to the bus route to Valletta. Our room was 2nd floor and a good size with 2 windows (Room 5) and effective air-conditioning. The secluded pool and patio area was a perfect hide away in between busy touring days. Breakfasts were great, ranging from croissants and pancakes to Maltese options. Our hostess, Claire, was incredible throughout the week, answering queries, offering recommendations and resolving any hiccups we had quickly. e.g. a squeaky door, low water pressure. I got a sense the first floor bedrooms were much smaller so would recommend room 5 and 6 upstairs due to the size and light. It would have been an added bonus to have a mirror on the wall in the room, for easier access than having to squeeze between the bed and the wardrobe door.. The only big concern I had on arrival was the working pneumatic drill in the next door house. The building works were on going during our stay with a few pre 7am workforce and equipment noise. Thankfully this only impacted our plans on our first morning and very briefly again one other morning. Thereafter though, apart from the odd hammering we weren't impacted by it too much. However, it could have been continuous all week and so would have been good to have been aware of this at the time of booking, especially as we chose Lemon Tree because it had the secluded and quiet (stated by numerous reviewers) pool option, a pre requisit for the relaxing holiday we planned for.
• Marianne (10/5): Fabulous stay. - Everything was wonderful about the lemon tree. When we picked up our car rental, the guy was impressed, saying we were staying in the real Malta. Beautiful setting, lovely room, fabulous breakfast. I think it was Claire who we saw at breakfast gave us lots of information as to where to go, as we only had 2 days. Honesty bar fabulous and even given sandwiches as we were missing breakfast as early flight. Would definitely stay again. Thank you so much. Nothing at all, could not fault our stay. Maybe just dont expect to find a restaurant close by. We arrived late and had not eaten but found a great kebab house and had take away.

• Johanna (9/5): - A very pleasant stay at the Lemon Tree Relais! The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and friendly. The location is perfect, just a quarter of an hour from the center of Valletta. I highly recommend it! The only downside is that parking is not easy to find near the property.

Obsługa bardzo przyjazna i pomocna – zawsze chętnie doradzała w kwestii atrakcji czy drobniejszych spraw organizacyjnych. Pokoje klimatyzowane, z wygodnymi łóżkami i łazienką z prysznicem. Do dyspozycji gości prywatny basen i darmowe Wi-Fi. Codziennie rano serwowane były świeżo przygotowywane śniadania (8:00–9:30). Dodatkowym atutem był zestaw ręczników basenowych oraz firmowy żel pod prysznic z szamponem w łazience.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour . Tout était très bien mais quelques détails permettraient d’améliorer encore l’expérience (vrai jus de fruits, thé de qualité, pain d’artisan, …). Dommage que les jets du bain à remou ne fonctionnaient pas.

She was helpful, cooked a delicious breakfast and went above and beyond at all times. The hotel is situated in a location that makes everywhere on the island accessible. The facilities are great and the hotel is walking distance from vital amenities and bus stops. Nothing.

• Kay (10/5): Für uns auf Malta der absolute Favorit - Toller kleiner Pool der zum abkühlen einlädt. Jeden Morgen kann man sich das Frühstück für den Folgetag aussuchen. Die Auswahl ist zwar nicht groß aber absolut ausreichend und wirklich schön gemacht.

• Julia (9/5): A peaceful gem to relax & unwind - The hotel is a true gem for anyone looking to relax in a quiet part of Malta. It's beautifully maintained, and you can really tell that a lot of care goes into the place. The owner, Birgit, was incredibly welcoming and gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to see around the island. Our room had everything we needed (the AC was a life saver) and the pool area was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. My friend and I felt right at home and would absolutely stay here again. While the location is wonderfully quiet, it’s worth noting that it’s about a 30-minute walk to the Three Cities. This is definitely doable, especially during the cooler parts of the day, but something to consider if you plan to explore on foot. There were a couple of small maintenance details: We noticed some plaster comes off the wall, and the shower screen wasn’t quite long enough to prevent water from splashing into the bathroom when using the rain shower. Also, while breakfast was generally nice and lovely prepared, a bit more variety in terms of balanced, nutritious options would have been great. That said, these were all very minor things and didn’t affect our enjoyment of the stay at all.

The breakfast was delicious and with 4 different options on the menu there is something for everyone. The property is clean and well decorated and the pool area is very relaxing. The area is in a very quiet area which makes it very relaxing but maybe a bit far away from some of the sights. Everything is close by in an uber so this doesn’t really take away from the property.

Brigit and her team are super helpful and considerate of your stay. They want you to get the most out of your stay in malta. Nothing is any trouble. I enjoyed their selection of breakfasts and tasting local breakfasts. It's a local and quiet area but easy to get around using the bolt taxi app and maltas excellent bus transport. Lots of stops a few minutes away so don't feel it's too out of valetta. You can get there in about 20 minutes via bus. 5 mins in a taxi. Perfect location for those wanting a chilled environment.

• Andreea (10/5): Gorgeous accommodation, perfect to feel and see the architecture of Malta - We made the best decision to stay here, we stayed within the first few days of arriving in Malta and certainly our experience would not have been as nice if we had chosen something else. The courtyard is brilliant, we admired the lemon tree in all its yellow splendor now in February. The pool is available even in off-season, so you can enjoy everything they offer. I liked that I could choose to eat a traditional Maltese breakfast, the host is very welcoming. I really appreciate that they waited for us even though we arrived in the evening to check in, this says a lot about their business, customers are important to them. Congratulations! The girl who served us breakfast was very sweet and made us feel comfortable. Sitting in that room made us feel like we were living in a medieval movie, one of the best feelings we have had on any vacation. It didn't affect our stay that much, that's why we didn't lower the review grade, it won't affect you that much if you come in season, but I'll leave it just to know. The air conditioning in the room was hardly heating the room and the water pressure was low.

I've never seen shower in the room that is fact there. crazy. take into account this place has not 24h staff in place, no soundproofed rooms and more.
• Judith (9/5): Relaxing, quiet and welcoming - We enjoyed the mornings and afternoons in the sun at the swimming pool. The super friendly staff made feel us welcome and at ease. The staff offered us a room change so we could have separate beds (friends). If we had a question, they always helped us and offered perfect solutions. The environment was quiet, with sounds of birds and the company of sweet cats. If you want some days away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, definitely come here! The breakfast was good, and Quality products were used. A little suggestion would be to offer a little more variety (in the buffet, eg. some cheese). The swimming pool was relaxing and of perfect temperature. A little suggestion would be to provide more than two sunbeds.

• Verity Helen Louise (10/5): - Lemon Tree is in a quiet part of Malta, which is just what we wanted, but it's easy to get to Three Cities and then the water taxi into Valetta. The staff were all very friendly, helpful, polite and full of local information. The pool is not big but a nice place to cool down and the area with the lemon trees in the garden is a perfect place to sit and relax. The room was big, very clean and full of character but with modern twists. Love the honesty jar idea when we used the mini bar. It was perfect for what we wanted on this holiday.

Small garden with lemon trees was my favorite place :) Room was clean and comfy, poll looked nice, but we were not able to use it because of the weather. The traditional option for breakfast was great! The room we had #6 - window was facing the road and it was very noisy if you try to sleep on open window, as we preferred. The breakfast was good, but it would be great if the orange juice was fresh instead of bought from the shop. If you want to have fruits for breakfast they are coming with muesli or cereals, which I do not consume.

• Emily (10/5): Perfect - Peaceful and relaxing. We stayed at the Lemon Tree for a week, it is out of the hustle and bustle of the main cities in a quiet neighbourhood. I was 30 weeks pregnant when staying here and still managed the 30 minute walk to the 3 cities. If you enjoy a stroll through the quaint streets it’s perfect. The staff are lovely and very helpful, they made our stay even better. The room was perfect for us, rustic with real character not the bog standard you get in other hotels. Nothing

Everyday was something new and prepared fresh - and the food was delicious. The staff were very curtious, kind and helpful as well! The room in general has basic amenities such as a tv, a stocked (and well priced) refrigerator, and a coffee machine. The property also sports a pool, albeit with only 2 deck chairs, which were always occupied during our stay. We felt the amenities were not value for money. For instance, there was no desk in the room. There was no kettle. Storage was also limited. The quality of slippers/towels could be improved. Given the lack of these basic ammenities that one would expect, and the fairly remote location, we felt the price paid was higher than warranted.

Super comfy bed and great breakfast with various option which you select each day before. We really enjoyed our stay. Once we skipped breakfast to leave early for a day trip and got sandwiches to go instead. Claire is wonderful and is super easy to speak to via text messages when you need something. Warm water in the shower was rather inconsistent but I mean it's warm outside so not really an issue. :)

• Hana (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed our stay very much! Our twin room Nr.3 was nicely decorated, clean and quite spacious, beds comfortable. The shower was great too, however the water was getting everywhere - the floor could be done better, or at least provide a shower wiper. We liked the breakfast style - make a choice out of 3 or 4 options which is much more sustainable, extra wishes were also no problem :) and of course Marcela was an amazing host - thank you so much! The location is good as well, it's very quiet and peaceful. You can walk to the Three Cities, otherwise brace yourself with lots of patience and take a bus :)) taking Bolt to and from the airport is the easiest option, ca €10. -

• Rose (8/5): Review experience at Lemon Tree - loved the choice and generous serve of breakfasts, very comfy bed and size and style of the shower. Having a honesty fridge with a variety of cold drinks. And more importantly, breakfast staff were ever so courteous, helpful and friendly. Bus to Valletta from 2 directions was only a 5 min walk. Breakfast tables were too small to accommodate all the breakfast utensils and food. There was no shelving above bathroom sink to sit your toiletries.

Or in the garden area. Its a fab little pool but when you relaxed by the pool at the end of the day and others turned up- you felt obliged to only have half hour and allow them to use the beds. It didnt take anything away from a fabulous break - but would mean others could also just chill there.

As people have previously stated the breakfast was delicious and there was a nice variety to choose from. The room was very comfortable and well kept. • Stephanie (6/5): Beautiful B&B but not in a good location. - Beautiful, clean and spacious room. Great facilities: outdoor space and pool were beautiful, clean and in a quiet environment. Good breakfast with enough choice and freshly brewed coffee. Kind staff. The soap in the shower wasn't good. I didn't bring mine because it said 'high quality soap' in the information, but I didn't feel clean at all. No power plug in the bathroom, where is one supposed to shave their face? The water from the shower never went towards the drain and instead, flooded the entire bathroom and the room as well if you didn't pay attention. So taking a shower was quite a hassle. The towels provided for the shower leave lint on the skin and everywhere you go. The room has no windows that can be opened so the only way to get fresh air is by using the AC. Drinking water wasn't included in the price, for an accommodation of this price level I expect to have bottled water included. The location of the place is terrible, in a small town far away from everything, we spent a fortune on Uber in 4 days on Malta. The staff do not seem to be too well informed on where to go and what to do on the island.
• Jelic (8/5): In general it was good but small little things can make a big difference - Its very clean and stuff is beyond helpful There is no cold water so you have to shower with hotish water even though it was 45+ C outside. Internet connection is very bad so we couldnt even open google maps
• Nikolaos (8/5): Delightful Stay - Our stay was enjoyable. The staff were kind and always ready to help. We found the check-in process smooth, and our room was tidy and well-prepared. The room service was prompt and commendable. The atmosphere of the hotel was truly relaxing, with the beautifully maintained garden, blooming flowers, lemon trees, and the inviting garden swing adding to our tranquility. The pool was mostly clean, enhancing our relaxation further. As for the breakfast, it was good and certainly filling. A brief note: the hotel's location is in a predominantly non-touristic area. Some might see this as an advantage for its tranquility, but it does limit local dining and sightseeing options. We're grateful for the hospitality and hope our insights might be of help in refining the experience for future guests We genuinely enjoyed our stay and felt that with a more competitive rate, our experience could easily have been rated higher. However, given the 135 euros per night, a few aspects came to our notice: The towels shed lint, which suggests they might be new, and a little pre-use might resolve this. The pool area was inviting, but the sunbeds could benefit from more regular cleaning. While we understand the protocol of using pool towels atop sunbeds, a cleaner base would enhance the experience. At times, adjusting the shower to the right temperature was a bit of a task. We appreciated the innovation behind the self check-in, but a backup front door key would have offered peace of mind, especially during unexpected situations like power outages.
