- Juliette (9/5): -
- Ali (10/5): -

- Darcy (10/5): -
- Chris (8/5): -

- Cassandra (10/5): Loved ir in both rain and sunshine - Secluded elegant and well appointed inside the national park short walk to secret beach Address given by booking dot com did not explain Access from lane behind house
- Mario (10/5): Einzigartige Unterkunft -
- Grant (10/5): We went on a few walks to the lookout and down to the beach. Blessed with a beautiful sunny day. There are lots things t - A funky architectural house in a magic spot right within the National Park. What a privilege to be able to go on walks directly from the front door! Lots of light inside and really warm even if the weather outside is a bit rough. Would definitely stay here again.
- Ros (8/5): Gorgeous property, for someone who likes nature this property was perfect - Lay out and design , close to all the things we needed to do Bedding was light for time of year
- Sergio (9/5): - The style was interesting, very quiet, lots of wildlife, close to Wineglass Bay, everything you need to self cater your stay. Some parts of the house such as bedroom windows and coffee table shelf was dusty but overall it was very clean.
- Vicki (10/5): Exceptional - Hazards Rim is in a quiet location, close to the walks. The house was cosy, furnished comfortably. A great place to stay.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deane-freeman (10/5): Exceptional -
- Quynh (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully designed holiday house. Fully-equipped. I only talked with the staff over the phone to ask for the key box. They were kind, patient, and helpful.
- Georgia (5/5): Disappointed. - Location was great! Right in between the Wineglass bay tracks and Honeymoon Bay. We hiked the mountains, booked the Freycinet marine tour and the atv tour which were fantastic! As per previous feedback the driveway was not at the stated address so the neighbour had to lead us to the driveway. The first night we showered we had slugs appearing in the bathroom and dead bugs in the blinds which made it feel really uncomfortable to shower. The rug was stained and the material on the couches has disintegrated along with the springs which made it quite uncomfortable. Everything looked so beautiful in the photos however it just didn’t feel that way living there which was disappointing as we have stayed at some beautiful homes in Tassie.
- Lynne (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend - Location was great!
Very comfortable accomm Perhaps some basic stock such as a couple of butters etc.
Maybe some more information around getting bearings for walk and food recommendations etc
- Rachael (10/5): An amazing place to stay if you want a little luxury, surrounded by nature. - The location and privacy were incredible. The house had a really cozy feel to it. We were able to walk straight out of our door and into nature and the National park.
- Kathleen (5/5): Passable - Location, it was really quiet Things like a lack of utensils, the pans etc are worn out and gross and the mugs are small… it’s not homely, for the price it should have some personality
- Rochelle (8/5): Stunning location -
- Diane (10/5): Highly recommend - Great uncrowded place, beach to ourselves, excellent bushy view, comfy beds, spacious.
Please provide a knife sharpener and a new frypan.
- Beth (9/5): Great- loved the location right on doorstep of park and away from the town - Quiet location in nature. Spacious, well set out, all the amenities included.
Great design house - functional and interesting
Included some
Books, games, well equipped kitchen for cooking a good dinner, iron, heater, big tv, deck with table.
Near visitors centre and Freycinwt lookout and bay walk The lounge wasnt too comfy
Some of the furniture but dated- but was fine
Double bed not queen.
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): A great base for exploring Freycinet NP and Wineglass Bay. - Great location based right below the Wineglass Bay walking trail. The property is well laid out with a large kitchen, dining, lounge area for relaxing after a day’s walking. The host was very welcoming and responsive and were quick to respond when we identified a problem with the TV remote. Sitting on the deck on a summer evening can be a challenge, but only because of the insects. You should expect this in this location. The best answer is to sit beside someone they prefer to eat (like my wife!) or step inside. It’s still a great place.
- Michael (9/5): Great stay - Location to NP, had all what we needed. Check in was confusing - Google Map does not lead to main door entrance.
- Kelli (10/5): Exceptional -
- Clare (8/5): Great house, in a great location for Coles Bay but could be a bit creepy. - Lovely house with good facilities Slightly odd location in that this completely surrounded by trees right up to the windows so is quite dark.
- Hughes (8/5): Lovely house nestled in a bush setting close to a gorgeous beach - Lovely house - close to beach
- James (7/5): OK - No breakfast provided Control for TV doesn’t work properly. Cooking utensils and dishes could have been cleaner. Exit door is a deadlock nearly got locked out when wind shut door and we were outside so please post a note. Key lock box mechanism very difficult to open
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (10/5): Awesome location, - Great location, within the National park was quiet and felt private.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shannon (10/5): Perfect private getaway for easy access to the park beaches and sights - Cozy, private, easy access to town and park Several lights were burned out in the living area so it was not as well lit at night as I would have liked
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - Location is great! Walking distance to the walking tracks and a short drive to Coles bay. Well appointed kitchen. The access is on a narrow road that is not well maintained. We drove our EV to the property once but didn’t risk it again to avoid the massive potholes! Any 4WD/bigger cars would be fine.
- William (9/5): A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful house in a wonderful location. We would highly recommend. - Beautiful house, matches the photos well and a great location. Not much - maybe a better range of plates, bowls etc?
- Menzies (8/5): Hazards Rim is a nice place - nicely designed and is a good size. Also great walks nearby. - Location was good - close to Wineglass Bay walk We had all-night drunken neighbours on the first night - kept going loudly until about 7am, so that wasn't good, but that can happen anywhere and isn't a reflection of this property...just bad luck.
Coles Bay is a really scenic place, but Hazards Rim doesn't have access to a scenic view, just the bush, which is ok, but not quite as expected.
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location and house. It was quite cold in the winter and there was no central heating. The space heaters in the bedrooms worked well enough but the halls and the bathroom remained frigid at night.
- Kyla (8/5): Nice place but wouldn’t book again in winter - Good location, big space, beautiful bush Very cold house that hasn’t been purpose built for the cold, portable heating in rooms only just do the job. Also pre booked a portacot which wasn’t made up and just left on the floor.
- Margaret (8/5): Comfortable accommodation in a quiet bush location. - Comfortable bed & modern architecture. Well worn floor boards, track to beach was very rough and slippery after rain.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Kylie (9/5): Great location for a relaxing weekend or base for hiking - Great location, in the national park so perfect for setting off on hikes. The house has everything you need for a relaxing weekend. The bed was comfortable, kitchen has all the basics for cooking and the dining and lounge area is a great open space. The house heats up but when you open it up the mosquito’s swarm so some fly screens or mosquito repellent would be helpful.
- Leonie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Travis (10/5): Pure bliss and relaxation. - Beautiful location and beautiful home. Walking access to private beach and walks. Absolutely magical. Could have been a bit cleaner. Some areas very dusty and some utensil, plates and cups where not clean.
- Ross (8/5): Great location, comfortable modern home - Location with easy walking access to Wineglass Bay and Mt Amos walks.
Very modern, uncluttered and comfortable property.
- Hugh (8/5): For a bush holiday peaceful and private - Privacy No bath or hot tub
No electric blankets. And no. Bathrobes
- Kok (9/5): A well- kept, spacious property in a great location. - The location being close to the trails. The property is spacious with good layout; clean, including the utensils provided. The shower has good water pressure which is a great plus in a national park. The management keeps me posted in timely fashion. Nil.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Dale (9/5): If in your budget very highly recommended - great accommodation in the perfect location to explore the park. - loved the location (could not be better for anyone wanting to do Freycinet walks). Short walk to beach and departure point for Freycinet walks. Private and quiet. Well appointed and attractive accommodation. Pretty expensive, but in this case you are getting what you pay for. One issue with the water pump playing up leaving us without water on the first night, but fine the next morning and for the rest of the stay. Team supporting the accommodation were very responsive and had someone round to check within an hour of reporting. Other than that slight hiccup
- Hyunjung (8/5): Beautiful - Easy access Nil
- Colin (10/5): Had a ball. Great house. Amazing location. -
- Eamon (9/5): Beautfully designed, modern property right on the doorstep of Freycinet National Park. - Location is why you would absolutely choose this property! It is literally on the doorstep to the start of the Wineglass Bay trail and perfectly secluded right in the National Park. A beautifuly designed modern property with all amenities you need for a short stay at Freycinet. Very close to Freycinet Lodge for evening dinner plans and very peaceful for a romantic stay. Highly recommend for any couples or small groups looking for a beautiful stay near Wineglass Bay. Not a lot! This property has everything you need for a short stay and the location is perfect. My only dislike was the lack of fresh drinking water available at property and the fact you had to boil the water prior to refilling the tank for usage.
- Gastrogirl (6/5): Loved the location and space. Once kitchen inventory fixed, it will be awesome. - Spacious, quiet, private, lovely furniture etc, Comfortable beds and nice linen. Substandard kitchen inventory for a 2 br house with a "full kitchen"
Only 1 champagne flute and 3 wine glasses total (rectified after a phone call-thanks)
No steak knives (despite a great BBQ) Only one old frypan.
No casserole dish to bake in. No cake tine to bake in. Only 2 plastic cups. No screw top jar4s or plastic containers with lids to store things in the fridge once cooked. Kitchen cupboard contents need a major overhaul.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Rose (8/5): Had a lovely time exploring the region, particularly the Frecinyet National Park - The house had a cool architectural vibe located just below the walking track to Wineglass Bay. I suggest anyone staying here do a grocery shop before arriving at the house as there are no shops nearby, other than Coles Bay. Had a very nice dinner at Frecinyet Lodge down the road As other guests have mentioned, lack of privacy from the road above through to kitchen and living area.
Kitchen has limited utensils for cooking
- Lana (8/5): Very good - Mattress was too soft for us
- Rosmarie (7/5): It is a very nice house needing some more attention - Good location in the National Park, close to the trailhead for Winglass Bay Lookout. The heater kept the loungeroom nice and warm (no heaters in the bedrooms). After reading the other reviews, our expectations were high but were not met. Especially the cleanliness was not up to standard. Obviously there has been no supervision of the cleaning team and there was a general lack of tidyness. For example, when you first come into the house, the first thing you see is a chair with a broken seat. Most of the furniture seems tired and old. The cooktop has no numbers on it to indicate the heat you set and seems also very old. The toilet brush was disgusting.
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Absolutely loved staying here. Although close to neighbours it certainly didn’t feel like it. Location is close to the s - Everything! nothing
- Peter (8/5): Hazards - Very comfortable with plenty of space. Peaceful. It is a bit of an extra journey if driving to places.
- Navdeep (9/5): Superb -
- John (6/5): Looking Tired - Bedrooms very small and wardrobe space minimal. No room for suitcases in the bedrooms.
Mosquitoes were a problem and no insect repellent on site.
Carpets and floors looking very shabby.
Photos of this place need updating as it’s condition has deteriorated dramatically since these photos were taken.
But very convenient to hikes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, secluded setting. Walking distance to the Wineglass Bay walking track. Excellent amenities: modern kitchen and living areas.
- Bfc (10/5): - Memorable for all the right reasons.
A wonderful setting. Everything exceeded expectations
