• Anne (8/5): Lovely location, clean and tidy - The view from the balcony was amazing. Location peaceful and good kitchen facilities. Also having a washing machine was great. A shelf in the shower would be appreciated rather than products on the floor. Also a dryer would be useful.

• Peter (4/5): - View Property had multiple cobwebs and spiders on windows and over the smoke detector. Presence of small spiders and webs might explain the large huntsman spider that appeared on our last night. Very dusty and especially bad in the bedroom. A shame as the property has a great view.

Not allowing us to check in early even though the unit was ready when we got there an hour earlier. Had to call and “beg” to get in but to no avail….

The blind in the bedroom couldn't be closed , which: a. Reduced the privacy b. Allowed the street lights to be visible ie. Making g the room lighter. 2. BBQ was dirty 3. The dimpled skillet for frying eggs was useless
• Jenny (10/5): One of the best places we have stayed. Beautifully presented and very comfortable. - This property was beautifully presented. The lounge had a big veranda overlooking the sea. Fantastic view of the sunset. It had a full kitchen with everything you would need. The bathroom is huge and also has a washing machine. The bedroom was very comfortable. Some stronger lighting to read by in bed. (very minor)

The bed and bathroom were spacious and the whole apartment is is such a relaxing space. Nothing!

• Alan (4/5): Amazing but… - A delightful place to stay with a great view across the water. Terrific to watch sun, wind or even storms come across the bay. Comfortable bedding! There is a ledge on the walkway a few centimeters in height. We came home after dark and that area was completely black. I tripped on this ledge. Skinned both my knees and elbow. This included dropping my phone which smashed the screen. I was very disappointed with this oversight to safety. To remedy this situation it needs a railing along the length of the ledge or / and sensor light installed on that corner of the carport.

I would have liked a coffee machine and a selection of tea. The kitchen equipment could do with an upgrade and the pillows were poor quality and uncomfortable.

Be prepared for small town vibes - Spacious Beautiful view Close drive to the main walks and sites Cleaners arrived before we had properly checked out which was a bit uncomfortable. The deck is beautiful but with the wind and sun we could not actually utilise it.

We loved it having an open plan, cooking while watching tv. We always like having a bathroom seperate from the bedroom when staying away so this was a bonus. We would happily stay here again! The first night, there was a storm, there was some things outside knocking around. We stayed in winter so there wasn’t any people around. The drive to the closest servo/cafe/corner store was a 10 mins.

Owners a bit like the Gestapo where you couldn’t gain access to the property until 2.50pm exactly even though the property was ready well before then. They also offered a 50% discount should we take up their offer of an extra night - far too late for us to consider.

The accommodation was tastefully furnished and meticulously maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. The property boasted all the necessary amenities for a relaxing getaway, including a washing machine, sufficient kitchen amenities, and bathroom essentials. We appreciated the inclusion of kitchen cleaning agents and laundry supplies, which made it easy for us to maintain the space during our stay. One minor suggestion we have is to consider adding beach towels for guests who wish to visit the local beaches. While the property provided everything else we needed, having beach towels available would have been a convenient addition for those looking to explore the stunning coastline nearby. Overall, our experience at this tranquil haven in Coles Bay was truly memorable. The quiet location, coupled with the thoughtful touches throughout the property, made for a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the heart of Tasmania's natural beauty. We look forward to returning in the future. Nothing, everything was great

• Ellie (7/5): Great view, but disappointing overall - Incredible location and view over the water. Staff were extremely inflexible and difficult to deal with regarding check in times and processes. Unfortunately the whole experience had a very “commercial” feel - we were provided with the bare minimum that would be acceptable without providing anything comfortable, luxurious or special. For example, “provision of basic supplies” was one sachet of coffee, and the promise to leave boiled water was hardly enough for one day. There really does need to be more facilities for the kitchen and bbq, as well as a fan / air con for the bedroom (which for extremely hot). There was also a significant amount of mould on the bathroom ceiling.

• Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place to spend a few slow days exploring the Fraisonette area. Well appointed, light and airey. Be aware the property is ajoined to Whale Water 2, and can hear some noises through the wall.
• Judith (7/5): Great location but upgrades needed. - location very small TV that only received two channels & no music options. Fridge was a very small unit like one finds in a camper - no light, no freezer, only room for an ice tray - not practical for a stay with cooking facilities for multiple nights. Kitchen dishware was minimal - three plates, three saucers, four glasses, three teaspoons & no dish drainer to use for washing them, so this meant washing & drying after each use so there was some dishes to use for the next meal. Also, this is really a duplex situation, not a stand alone beach house so the quality of the stay is largely dependent on how considerate the guests in the other side of the wall are- we had both good neighbors & bad ones during our three nights, so this can really impact the overall comfort of the place. There is certainly room for improvement & upgrades as mentioned to justify the nightly cost which as is, is not a good value compared to other places we stayed and the amenities that were offered.
