• Kendyl (9/5): Location, location, location! Can't beat this one. Lovely place with incredible view. Stay here! - Must be the best location in the Sassi area! Loved the entry and stone vaulted ceilings. Unbelievable views. Good restaurants right there. Two lovely bathrooms. The living area was tight as we were 4 adults and sleeper couches were in the living room, but we actually spent most of our time out and about exploring the incredible Sassi surroundings and Matera itself. Our host was super helpful and friendly. He organised secure parking for us a quick walk away. We loved everything! We were 2 couples. As the electricity card is attached to the house keys, we'd request a second set of house keys next time so couples can come and go independently of each other and still have electricity access.

Enzo ha reso questo soggiorno indimenticabile, disponibilissimo, gentile , ha risolto anticipatamente delle problematiche che avremmo potuto incontrare con il parcheggio , una persona speciale davvero , come dovrebbe essere davvero un host , si vede che fa questo lavoro con il cuore ! • Antje (10/5): - Super freundliche Vermieter. Nachdem wir wider Erwarten mit dem Bus anreisen mussten, hat uns der Sohn von Enzo an der Haltestelle abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gefahren. Zur Begrüßung gab es Saft und Gebäck. Die Wohnung ist groß, sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt perfekt. Ich habe es geliebt, den Sonnenaufgang in Matera vom Balkon zu beobachten.

La possibilité d'avoir accès à une place dans un parking sécurisé est super avec quelqu'un pour vous amener à l'appartement. Des fournitures pour petit déjeuner fournies. Les oreillers sont très durs. Peut-être temps de redonner un petit coup de peinture ?

Roberto and Enzo were kind, helpful and generous with their time, even transporting us from the bus station to the property. Words cannot describe the view from the balcony, amazing, fantastic, out of this world, unbelievable. Absolutely nothing

Onestamente, potrei vivere solo sul balcone, è uno spettacolo ad ogni ora ❤️ Enzo è stato estremamente accogliente e molto gentile. Ci ha accompagnati a un parcheggio privato nelle vicinanze e ci ha portati all'appartamento con la sua auto privata, super conveniente! Vorrei ancora dei biscotti 😂

Desde el momento de mi llegada, Enzo y su esposa nos recibieron con una hospitalidad excepcional. No solo nos entregaron las llaves, sino que también nos acompañaron a un parking cercano y luego nos llevaron cómodamente en coche hasta el apartamento. Su amabilidad y atención nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos al instante. El apartamento en sí estaba impecable, era increíblemente cómodo y contaba con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta. Pero lo que realmente lo hizo inolvidable fue su ubicación inmejorable y, por supuesto, esa vista espectacular que te deja sin aliento. ¡Definitivamente lo recomendaría a cualquiera que busque una experiencia memorable en Matera! nada

• Paul (10/5): Amazing views. - Location is perfect. Less than 10 minute walk to car park which Roberto arranged. On arrival he met us and took us by car to the apartment. The apartment is excellent, but the standout thing is the view from the balcony - spectacular. Right on the edge of the historical city and a few minutes walk to the old city. Nothing.
• David (10/5): If I win the lottery I will be offering the owner anything he wants for this apartment - I have wanted to visit Matera for years. It was so much better than I hoped or expected. The apartment was beautiful. Enzo and his son were so helpful, picked us up from the station, and took us back to the next station as the railway line was closed. Beautiful views all around. The sight seeing tours all stop right outside the door, we even asked the tour operator to.pick us up there, which they did. Leaving
• Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Our hosts Enzo and Roberto were great. They pre-arranged parking for us, met us at the secure parking lot and took us to the apartment. The apartment was large with a fabulous view over Matera. Location gave easy access to both old and new Matera with easy walking to a range of restaurants. Highly recommend this property!

• Angel (10/5): Stay at this apartment. It’s perfect. - This is the best property. Located inside the Sassi, the Walled in area, you can walk everywhere. The view is spectacular. It’s better to be up high looking down then to be below, in my opinion. The place was perfect like brand new, and had two bathrooms and well-stocked kitchen. They even left some of his grandmothers biscuits with Nutella for us. Be prepared to walk in Matera no doubt, but we loved every minute of it. Plus, the host helped us with parking, which is very difficult in Matera . The host met us at a parking lot where we left our car and it was only €10 a day which is very reasonable and it was gated and safe . Then the walk to the condo was maybe five minutes. We never did start the car because there’s so much to do in the village, which is one of the oldest towns in the world. More about the apartment, the view, the view, the view. Also, the bed was really comfortable. Plus it is a nice size space This is the place to stay when visiting Matera . Loved everything

• Jeffrey (10/5): Exceptional - Firstly, the location was excellent. When you looked out the balcony doors, the whole old city was staring you in the face. Morning and evening was very dramatic. Secondly, the owner was very attentive. Anything we asked for, he and his son provided quickly. I have stayed in alot of places around the world, and I have to say, without exaggerating, this stay, and the service we received was in the top 3, maybe, top 2. Thirdly, the city is amazing. You have to walk uphill alot. In that vein, there are stairs to get to the apartment. Roberto arranged for the parking of our car, met us at the parking lot, loaded his car with our luggage, drive us, not very far, (but streets closed to traffic during certain hours and Roberto has a permit to drive on those streets during those hours) to the apartment, help carry our luggage upstairs. We did this in reverse when leaving, except Roberto's brother also helped. Quite superior service. Fourthly, the apartment had everything. It was a good size, and very comfortable. We really felt at home. OH yes, I forgot to mention that the owner delivered us fresh figs from his fig trees. I have to say, these were the best figs I ever ate, no exaggeration. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, with one right downstairs. Food was great, but hey this is Italy, where food preparation is an art form I cannot think of anything.
• Wadie (10/5): Romantic place to stay, amazing views of matera. Highly recommend it - Oh my god, the view is amazing, you would not believe how gorgeous is it when having a breakfast in the morning. The flat itself is cozy and super comfortable.

• Celine (10/5): The best view in Materra!!! - The owner was very kind and met us at our car when we arrived in Materra to show us where to park. he then walked with us to the property and showed us all the amenities. He even left biscotti that his mother made 😋 The apart is perfectly located if you are arriving by car, since you can drive right up to it with your luggage. Very convenient. There are restaurants close by. The view from the apartment with two balconies is absolutely breathtaking!!! It’s just stunning and I would totally recommend staying here 10/10 👍🏻 It would be nice to have 2 comfortable chairs in the main room facing that stunning view.
• Oramsnz (10/5): Just wonderful! - This place was pure perfection to experience magical Matera. The unbelievable view over the Sassi from both balconies took our breath away. The apartment was spotless, tasteful, spacious and comfortable with two bathrooms, great lighting and a comfortable bed. Parking was nearby and we were transported from there on arrival and departure. Thank you Enzo for all your help and letting us enjoy your fabulous home and city. The only thing I thought was missing, was an iron. Unless I couldn't find it😄
• Paul (9/5): A wonderful apartment in a beautiful location. - This is a beautiful property in an exceptional location. The coffee machine is so good, we bought the same one for home. We found the bed and pillows really hard which is a shame because everything else is perfect.
• N (10/5): Amazing! - SPECTACULAR! Amazing views from the two balconies. Parking about 200 meters away. Clean, fully stocked, spacious apartment. Hosts were responsive and allowed for baggage drop off while the room was being cleaned. We only wish we had stayed longer. Thank you Enzo and Cosimo! Nothing.
