- Verified traveler (8/5): - Clean and simple, away from the crowds and costs of St. Moritz. Memory foam mattresses were a plus! Hot water wasn't super consistent, but it's an old building and not near any of the villages, so that's not surprising. The room was quite hot when we entered, as the radiator had been set to the max. Level 1-2 is plenty for rooms of this size, and it will take quite some time to cool down unless the windows are opened.

- Robert (10/5): As good as it gets - This small hotel has all the earmarks of well-run Swiss hospitality: excellent dinners, friendly, helpful staff, courteous to a fault. The views of Lago Bianco and Lago Noir from our corner room were excellent. No TV in our room, which I consider a feature. The absence of an elevator was alleviated by immediate assistance by the staff to carry our luggage to our room on the top floor. Climbing four floors to our room was slightly difficult, due to our ages and the altitude at this continental divide. A revisit, especially during spring or summer, would be quite welcome.

Da der Weg von der Stazione zum Hospiz für unsere betagten Mitreisenden unmöglich zu bewältigen gewesen wäre, hat das Hotel uns jemanden aus dem Bekanntenkreis geschickt, um uns so ins Hospiz zu fahren. Ein Shuttle ist im Sommer grundsätzlich nicht vorgesehen. Dafür bedanken wir uns nochmals ganz ganz herzlich!

- Richard (10/5): Clean and comfortable place to stay - It is a good place to stay when doing the Bernina Express route, there are also multiple hiking trails nearby. The hostel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The sauna was an unexpected bonus as we arrived a bit wet and cold.

- Norbert (10/5): Discover this gem - The place is in a perfect location to experience the alps at 2,309 m. Ample space to park or in our case easy to get to from the railway station. They offer a pickup from the nearby station if one doesn’t want to walk 500 m uphill from the closest one. Friendly multi language service. Rooms were very cosy and quiet. Excellent food and drinks from local suppliers. We have travelled extensively in Switzerland, this place is one of a kind 😀

Servizio necessario specialmente in Svizzera visto che i piani tariffari non includono il roaming per questa nazione. Nel complesso voto positivo, 8.

- Verified traveler (10/5): Simple but perfect. - Ospizio Bernina is a nice welcoming place. The staff is friendly and even though the place has seen some winters, it's in a good state of repairs. After a comfortable sleep, I woke up to some fantastic views.

- thomas (8/5): Un voyage dans le passé - Hôtel impossible d’accès depuis la gare d’ospizio Bernina en hiver. Néanmoins le personnel de l’hôtel propose ses services pour déposer à la gare de diavolezza Le Matin et de nous récupérer le soir. La vue est incroyable et le personnel accueillant. Le seul bémol rencontre est le wifi désastreux mais compréhensible à une altitude aussi élevée. Nous y retournerons !

- Elizabeth (10/5): - This hotel is situated on the highest point on the railway at 2253 meters at the Bernina Pass. I’m really pleased that we stayed here! It is the most remote location on the train line and so it’s convenient for getting around (there are other more remote hotels that require taking a gondola from the train line). they will pick up/ drop off at a Bernina Diavolezza train stn (10 min drive from hotel). The bar- restaurant serves homemade Italian food, the staff is friendly, hard working & accommodating. They even packed a lunch for us. Nearby activities include snowshoeing (available for rent), complimentary tours on Saturday), kite skiing, snowboarding, downhill skiing, among other things. If you are looking for simple, affordable accommodation in a remote, breathtaking location, this is the place to stay.

- Mely (10/5): - Very good location! The staff are helpful & excellent service. Since it’s a little bit far from the train station, very hot time of the day on the way to the hotel, a friendly local guy offered to deliver our luggage’s at the hotel with his van & we were well taken care of.
- Abir (10/5): Amazing location, good value for spend! - The Albergo Ospizia Bernina is a hotel that is 10 minutes walk up the hill from the station Ospizia Bernina. The station is the highest station on the Rhaetian Railway Bernina Express line. The hotel is in a historic building and very well situated for anyone who wishes to sepnd a few days in the area. The hotel is under new management since November 2017. The current staff is very professional, friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and very well equipped with lots of storage as it caters to lots of hikers and winter tourists with snow gear. We were there in end May and we witnessed lots of large groups stopping by for breakfast or lunch as the hotel is located in a place that offers a great view of the Cambrena Glacier and Piz Masson and Lago Blanco. Clearly it is a stopping point for people headed to St Moritz, Davos, or Valposchiavo. The menu has a great selection of dishes and is a great value for the excellent food quality. The prices are reasonable and you can eat economically as well as have a nice meal with a bottle of good wine from the local valleys. Breakfast is included in the room price advertised on Hotels.com. We travelled as a family of five and we had two rooms each with a double bed and a bunk bed for two. Our three sons were in one room and my husband and I were in the other room. Beds are comfortable and linens were clean. We had attached bathroome that were squeaky clean. Wifi is included. We highly recommend it for 2-3 day stay.
- Brandice (10/5): Swiss Alps Winter Wonderland - Albergo Ospizio Bernina is a lovely winter wonderland retreat in the Swiss Alps! The snowy mountain scenery was breathtaking and the staff were extra kind. It is located along the famous Bernina Express route. If traveling in the winter, it can be difficult to get to the immediate train station (Ospizio Bernina) because it can be snowed in, but the staff can help you get to the next closest train station.
