Ivan (1/5): - Location — central, convenient, and close to transport, shops, and attractions. Very poor check-in organization and unpleasant experience with the deposit The check-in process was extremely poorly organized. It was unclear who would meet us, when, and how. There were no clear instructions in advance, and communication before arrival was vague and unhelpful. After a long trip, this created unnecessary stress from the very beginning. The apartment comfort does not match the price: Very uncomfortable pillows, sleeping was difficult. Uncomfortable mattresses, making proper rest almost impossible. The toilet was constantly leaking, with running water noise all the time — an obvious technical issue. The biggest concern, however, is the deposit and penalties system. A 300 € deposit is required, and the contract includes excessive penalties, such as: not taking out the trash — 300 €, an unwashed plate — 300 €. Check-in is done in person mainly to make you sign this contract. When I specifically asked what I should pay attention to in the contract, I was told it was “standard” and just a formality confirming payment. In reality, this document contains all these penalties. Fortunately, I carefully reread the contract before check-out and made sure everything was cleaned and trash removed. Still, based on other guest reviews, there is a real concern about getting the 300 € deposit back without artificial reasons. Overall, this feels like a non-customer-oriented approach, where pressure around the deposit replaces proper service. For the same money in Barcelona, you can easily find much better apartments with clear rules, better communication, and no stress around deposits. Not recommended.
Stine (7/5): Nice appartment and great location, but need to raise the standard a few notches. - Great location, very nice situated for exploring the city, close to "everything". Very nice view from the balcony, looking straight towards Sagrada Familia and Torre Glòries. Spacious appartment. Considering the amount of money we paid, we would assume that a simple thing as the shower door would be in place. In the shower in second floor, it was broke and missing. This made it a hassle to shower when the whole bathroomfloor was floating with water each time we used the shower. And with only 2 towels per person in the flat, it was not so easy to wipe it up. We did call for more towels, which we got. We also expected that an appartment rented by 6 adults, would have enough glasses and cups for everyone for at least one meal, which it did not. Not to mention, it would be nice with more than 2 wineglasses in the appartment. A proper floor wash would also to good.
