Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The agent was excellent. Very helpful and attentive to our needs.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing it is garbage building full of mice and cockroach
- Deborah (8/5): Nice and Pleasant - Enjoyable, close to buses and shop. Nice quite area. Host very accommodating and welcoming.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place to setup for a longer term stay. It has everything you need. The staff was very helpful with items we needed, and the contact was always available.
- Mito (2/5): Très déçu - L'appartement ne correspondait pas aux photos, le propriétaire n'a pas été accommodant, l'appartement était très sale. Le lit n'avait pas de couverture.
- Monica (6/5): - First time in Toronto. Everything was ok. We were close to the public transportation and convenience stores.
- FrankelinAntoin (6/5): - Tache de sang sur le lit, coquerelles partout dans l'appartement donc nous n'avons pas été confortable.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The owner was not prepared for us when we arrived, so we had to wait outside for his arrival. The apartment itself was filthy, and little cleaning supplies were provided. The bathroom, a place meant for cleanliness, had to be cleaned before anyone could use it. There weren't enough beds, so for the first night one of us had to sleep on the leather couch with no blanket, sheets, or pillow, even though the owner was informed of the number of our party. After filing a complaint to the owner, I was told that my expectations are high and I should have checked in a 5 stars hotel as this is what I paid for. When I showed un-acceptance of the response, we were blamed for the uncleanliness of the apartment. The hospitality was a huge let down.
- martine (2/5): très décevant - ,loin du centre 1h30 de transport en commun , promesse de drap pour canapé lit en arrivant ilfaut payer 100 dollard scandaleux et je ne parle pas de l état de l appartement tres sale
- Pam (2/5): - We drove from NS. Two bedroom apartment was booked in March. Was notified on our way there that it wasn't available. Ended up putting us in 2 separate studio rooms which were not in the greatest area, food from previous people was left in cupboards and in dishes. Only 1 bowl for eating out of. No blankets or pillows initially supplied for pull out couches. Will not use again
- Elvir (2/5): - The microwave, water heater very dirty ,
did Not provide enough towels to guest, the TV is not working properly, the door locks is not safe for guest, overall the suite is not supposed to be rented . Renovation is not done, the oven light is on though it’s not in use.
the suite is very disappointing .
I DO NOT RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE
Looking a space to stay in Toronto Furnishiving
- Takuma (2/5): Never again. - Stayed at 896 Eglinton Room#210
This place needs much improvement.
First thing I noticed was the musty smell (sort of like an attic), dusty floor, then the broken fan, half melted lamp, and broken dining area lights.
As I spent more time, I noticed that TV didn't have any useful channels, towels were a bit stained, and the springs on the bed were shot, and roaches would visit occasionally.
Also, in the description, they fail to include the $15 parking fee per night if you decide to use their parking space.
Be prepared to bring the following if you plan to stay: shampoo & conditioner, body soap, hair dryer, cutting board & cooking knife (if you plan to use the kitchen)
The staying price looked relatively cheap, but with all the things I had to purchase, a local hotel would have ended up cheaper, and nicer.
To be fair, Wifi and heating system was great.
