• Platz (3/5): - The hostel was well situated and the rooms were clean. When arriving we couldn't get in as we didn't have a code emailed to us. We called the number but it took her a long time to help us with the door code. The rooms were clean but very basic and small. The temperature in there was very high - reaching 35 degrees during the night with the sun on and not possible to cool it down. The other guests living there seemed to have stayed there for a long time. It was as if the kitchen was their own, they left for the day without cleaning up. There were pots with food everywhere, both on the stove, in the fridge and outside. They had breakfast in their underwear. We didn't feel like using the facilities.
• Niles (6/5): - The location was good with ample parking. The room was clean, bunk beds with a sink and desk. The shared area which included the kitchen and living space was very messy and dirty. There was old food left out and the place smelt. There was a group of builders who were staying at the property and although the men were nice, I think that was why it was so messy.

• Livio (7/5): Guter Pitstop für die Durchreise - War in Ordnung. Sehr bescheiden und unpersönlich. Aber gut für die Durchreise. WC waren nicht 100% sauber. Eher eng.

Genügend, und saubere Badezimmer (auf dem Flur, jeweils abschließbar). Kein Personal vor Ort, Anweisungen auf dem Smartphone, alles sehr herunterreduziert, ohne Menschen (außer andere Gäste).

La habitación parece un camarote, 2 literas y poco mas, demasiado justo aunque acorde a lo que costó.No hay baños para tanta gente si está lleno, te toca esperar.

• Kajal (4/5): Spend the money somewhere else. - Rooms are decent size for a hostel The hostel is basically container building so it’s not soundproof and even someone walking outside is very loud. A large group was staying there and they made a lot of noise. The few shared washrooms were not cleaned and maintained. When I reached out to the hostel staff on the contact number provided, I got no response. The mattresses are worn out, beds make a lot of noise. Overall not worth at all! Spend the money somewhere else !

• Stefania (6/5): L'alloggio piu' caotico della mia vacanza - Posizione comoda. Tanti bagni. Angolo con divanetto. Lenzuola pulite. Lampadari non funzionanri in sala da pranzo. Gruppi di vacanzieri molto numerosi che hanno monopolizzato tutto lo spazio comune. Area cucina sottodimensionata rispetto al numero delle camere. Mancanza di congelatore e lavastoviglie. Odore di plastica sciolta nelle camere.

• Petra (7/5): Kratek postanek. - Zelo lep hostel, praktično nov. Sobe zelo lepe z udobnimi posteljami in opremo. Veliko stranišč in WC-jev tako da nikoli nisi čakal, da prideš na vrsto. Velik plus sta bila pralni in sušilni stroj. Kuhinja je bila dobro založena z veliko kuhalnimi površinami, posodo in priborom ter velikim hladilnikom. Žal sta bili v času mojega bivanja kuhinja in jedilnica premajhni. Za cel hostel je eno pomivalno korito premajhno, še posebno če ga okupirata dve italijanski družini, ki nimata obzira, da v hostlu niso sami. Prav tako se praktično nisi mogel niti vsesti, ker jih je bilo toliko in to cele večer. Bili so tudi precej glasni.

• Jana Michlova (8/5): nice hostel for a night to stay - The hostel is easy to find, there is enough parking space for everyone. The rooms are quite small and the bathrooms are very basic but everything is clean. The common spaces are fine. The kitchen / dining space could be organized better - there is not enough sinks and stoves for the amount of people staying here, and the tables are too close to the kitchen working space.

• deborah (8/5): Pratique pour une ou deux nuits - Très bonne isolation phonique des ailes de nuit par rapport à l'espace commun. Parking juste devant l'entrée. Très bonne situation géographique. Excellent tarif ! Lits superposés dans toutes les chambres assez étroites. Salle commune assez petite surtout en présence d'un groupe (une douzaine d'Italiens bruyants) et seulement 3 sanitaires (WC et douche dans la même pièce !) pour l'ensemble de l'auberge. Beaucoup de vaisselle disponible mais un seul frigo à partager

• Melanie (8/5): - Very good price for Iceland. Great facilities, lots of bathrooms which were a good size and had good pressure and hot water. Great area to lounge and great kitchen facilities. Easy check in. Not much in Hvammstaggi, but a good spot for a nights stop over when travelling around the ring road. Our room smlled a bit, like someone had smoked there in the past, but otherwise good room size and comfortable beds.

• Dieter (6/5): Einfach aber sauber, für eine Nacht ausreichend, Fliegenplage im Juli - Sehr einfaches Hostel mit Bundeswehr flair. Metall-Stockbetten und Zimmertüren als Stahltüren. Positiv war allerdings das eigene Waschbecken im Doppelzimmer. Die Unterkunft mit Gemeinschaftsbad und Gemeinschaftsküche waren sauber. An den Fenstern wären Fliegengitter notwendig, ab 5Uhr morgens haben uns die Fliegen "aufgefressen", es waren wohl mehrere hundert Fliegen im Zimmer und wir sind schnellstmöglich abgereist.

• Xiana (8/5): - Gute Lage, genug Parkplätze. Die Zimmer verfügen zwar nicht über ein eigenes Badzimmer, jedoch bietet die Unterkunft viele Duschen, sodass jedes Zimmer praktisch ihr eigenes Badzimmer hat. Das Wasser roch etwas nach Schwefel, aber das ist wohl nichts Ungewöhnliches in Island.

• Ksenia Balakina (10/5): - Very warm and cozy guesthouse. The kitchen is well-equipped. There's a washing machine and a dryer at your disposal! We saw a whale in the fjord right from our window!!!
• Jennifer (8/5): Ostello fronte mare - L'ostello è fronte mare. La camera ha due letti a castello e un piccolo lavandino molto comodo per lavarsi i denti prima di coricarsi. I bagni erano proprio di fronte alla nostra camera (è stato un caso però,in quanto c'è un altro corridoio pieno di stanze che non sono altrettanto vicine ai servizi) ed erano puliti e dotati di doccia. La cucina è abbastanza fornita,con diversi fornelli e stoviglie. A fianco c'è un angolo relax per gli ospiti con divanetto e diversi libri a disposizione. I bagni non sono molti, è stata una fortuna per noi che la sera in cui abbiamo soggiornato gli ospiti erano davvero pochi.
