The location is perfect, with a direct view of the Basilica of San Vitale just outside the window, which adds a unique charm to the stay. The room is elegant, refined, and thoughtfully designed, combining historical character with a strong sense of style. Everything was impeccably clean. The service was exceptional throughout. Michelle, Manuella, and Dainella were all warm, attentive, and highly professional. A generous welcome buffet was prepared, and as I had an early departure, Dainella kindly arranged breakfast in advance, which was greatly appreciated. It was a thoroughly pleasant and memorable stay. I would definitely return. No negative comments.

• ELSA (7/5): Plein de charme au cœur de Ravenne mais un peu bruyant - Chambre d’hôtes très très bien située en plein cœur de Ravenne juste à côté de la basilique San Vital. Parking payant 3€/jour à quelques minutes à pied. Très belle maison pleine de charme belle déco et jolis salons et espaces partagés. La chambre était spacieuse claire bien meublée avec goût. Tout était très propre et très charmant. Il est regrettable que l’isolation avec le restaurant d’en dessous soit si déplorable ce qui peut rendre les soirées et les débuts de nuits très désagréables. Le petit déjeuner était bon mais assez réduit en choix et servi dans une petite salle en hiver (l’été la cour doit être en revanche très agréable).
• Claire (9/5): Would recommend the hotel, but really appreciate the care and attention of the staff. - Location was great. Easy walking distance to the city center and major attractions. Helpful staff, especially the day manager Alessandra, assisted in making dinner reservations and booking a car and driver for an outing to San Marino. After my travel companion injured herself on our departure day, Alessandra called an ambulance for us, then arranged a taxi to get us back to the hotel from the hospital, and to drive us to Bologna that afternoon. Alessandra did a super job!

• Rene (10/5): - This B&B is conveniently located in the center of Ravenna. Unbelievable, but this B&B has a modern elevator reaching all the rooms ! Clean, and quiet this is the ideal location to visit Ravenna. We can highly recommend the Antica Trattoria Al Gallo 1909 (just 5 minutes walk).
• Lisa (10/5): Excellent choice for a stay in Ravenna. - Amazing location, 50 yards from the key UNESCO heritage sites and National Museum, in an ancient monastery guest house. Very stylish, good quality linens and toiletries, and fab breakfast in a little courtyard garden - excellent cappuccino, beautiful fresh fruit, eggs, cheese, meats, Greek yoghurt with homemade compote etc and wonderful fresh pastries. Emanuela is a great host - nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend. Nothing.

Wish we had more than two nights there. - We were upgraded to a suite which was huge, beautifully furnished, very large very comfortable bed, mosaic tiled shower room, couches, chairs, fab beams. The staff were lovely. Very friendly helpful girl on arrival and departure with perfect English. Drinks and nibbles put out early evening, little garden with tables and chairs. Great restaurant and coffee place, plus bar with food all just minutes from the hotel and recommended by her. Le Case is in a great location right by Basilica di San Vitale. Even able to walk to the station and back from there though both in late 70s and husband slow with stick after hip and knee replacements this year! Highly recommend! Nothing!

The coffee maker was at ground floor while the rooms were in the upper levels. There is no coffee machine in the room. The mattress was on the hard side, but this is a personal preference. What is good for me won't necessarily be good for someone else.

There’s an elevator which is extremely helpful with luggages for upper floor. We didn’t know we could have eaten breakfast on location but were given great breakfast option nearby.

If staying here the night before a cruise from Ravenna be aware taxi service is nonexistent on Sunday mornings. The only drawback was our inability to secure a taxi to Porto Corsini. We opted for the shuttle service which is twice the cost of a taxi.

• Glenn (10/5): Very relaxing stay in a beautifully restored Hotel. - Hotel was just beautiful...the hosts have carried out a very sympathetic and well-designed restoration/renovation. We had a fantastic central location and easy access to Ravenna City Centre restaurants. The Hotel was very comfortable, safe and secure. The Hotel receptionist fully explained all details in excellent English during check-in and so we had a smooth transition from a long drive to a very welcome restorative time-out. We had to negotiate through a Pedestrian Precinct to reach the hotel - possibly a large-scale map could help for access and parking.

• Douglas (9/5): Wonderful small hotel with friendly staff. - It was in the nicest part of Ravenna. The owner and the manager were incredibly personable. I had a car, and driving in this part of Ravenna is restricted. This is not a problem if you contact the hotel in advance. There is a parking lot about 250 meters from the hotel and the hotel can arrange permission to drive in the restricted area to drop off luggage.

The rooms are beautiful, with frescoes on the ceiling and lovely mosaic tiled bathrooms. There is a reading room with original ceilings and walls, and a very sweet garden with a soft fountain running …. you could sit there all day! We would highly recommend staying here.
