- Mandy (7/5): - Friendly staff and a good location for us to visit nearby relatives. Staff were very caring when one of us felt unwell. Lovely ladies cleaning the rooms who gave us some extra teabags. There were a few maintenance issues in the room that needed addressing such as bedside light not working, the insecure wardrobe rail, the loose plug on the hairdryer and one of the entry keys was ineffective. Also some issues with the door lock. However, this did not stop us enjoying our stay and appreciating the good value for money and wonderful staff.
- Stéphane (8/5): - Le petit déjeuner Les portes que les autres occupants claquaient. Les jeunes sur le parking du supermarché près de notre fenêtre, qui faisaient ronfler leurs voitures et faisaient des dérapages jusqu'à tard. Beaucoup de luminosité dans la chambre malgré les double rideaux tirés.

- Martin (6/5): Hotel good, pub food average and pricey - Breakfast was okay, Continental was not consistent, some days items were there some days not e.g. fruit yoghurt seem to run out of things a lot on the dinner menu. Dinner quality was average, Thai curry was just above luke warm. Beef Chilli was mostly tortilla chips, very little chilli. Cheese onion sandwich poor for the money

Room temperature was very comfortable. Plenty of electrical sockets, so I was able to charge my phone overnight by the bed. The bed was a little hard.

Ate a couple Of times evening meal at restaurant and the Choice was poor - no supplies arrived so no steak , no chicken etc etc . And when gammon came …no peas . Noisy with boy racers one night . The lock on bedroom door didn’t work

- GEORGE (9/5): Great location for exploring north east Aberdeenshire. - Have used Harbour Springs quite a few times now and each time staff have been very courteous and helpful at checkin and when eating in the restaurant. Rooms are spacious, clean, comortable and well appointed. Good value. Nothing.

- Tim (9/5): Great service, value for money and great choice of food - The availability of a ground floor accessible room was excellent and rarely available in other accommodation. Good flexibility on times for meals was excellent. Also excellent car parking with ample disabled spaces both at the accommodation and at the restaurant was excellent Good range of breakfast and meals throughout the day and evening and good value. Breakfast bacon wasn't great and filter coffee would have been preferred to instant however these are minor issues.

- Colin (8/5): I have stayed there before and will again. Very helpful staff. - Plenty of free parking. Rooms well sound proofed from quite heavy traffic noise on nearby bypass road and adjacent industrial estate resulting in undisturbed nights sleep. Property is on the outskirts of Peterhead but no need to go into town for food and refreshments as the hotel has a restaurant, bar and pool table. There are also several fast food outlets and a large B&M superstore within walking distance from rooms. The duvets are a bit thin. I would have preferred there to have been an additional blanket rather than having to turn up the heating. Soap and shower gel dispensers need refreshed as spring mechanisms tired and ineffective. Manual door lock mechanism did not latch due to misalignment to doorpost plate. I reported it to the staff who got it repaired the next day, thank you. Once fixed I felt more secure. I don’t like having just an electronic locking system especially when asleep.

Food was poorly cooked and not good value for money plus there were always things not available. Ordered a chilli which was 20% chilli, 80% nachos, rice and sauces and was luke warm. The Scottish breakfast was overcooked bacon and undercooked watery eggs.

- Paul (1/5): The service was discusting - I never got the chance to stay as the night porter would not allow me access I didn’t like getting stranded out in the snow because the night porter said he wasn’t authorised to let me in even tho I had a booking and paid for the room. Iv been trying to contact them and booking.com to get refund and this is 72 hours without any reply!!

- Andrew (4/5): - Location - food was also nice and good value The heating was broken in my room, it was 1 degree and sideways rain outside. When I'd worked out it was broke (used AI to look up the make, model and error) it was too late to speak to anyone and I'd left the contact number with my colleague who was sleeping - so had to double up the duvet etc to stay warm. I did find out my colleague had an oil radiator so obviously a problem at this hotel that is on-going. I spoke to the staff in the am and said i would like a call to discuss a payment refund - part of full. No return call was made (and i've given 5 days till this review). The bathroom also had leftover hairs on the shower wall.
- Kirsty (4/5): Didnt meet usual standards - The location, the price and staff friendliness I stay here all.the time and never have issues but this time i feel standards have really slipped. The duvet cover had a whole in it, the curtains were covered in stains. I had to send my breakfast back as the eggs werent cooked properly, the time we waited for breakfast was ridiculous.
