• Niamh (10/5): Unreal hostel - GREAT hostel, best type of hostel beds with a long shelf and a safe, super comfy. Really nice pool upstairs and plenty of places to sit, great common area downstairs too
• Dani (10/5): Comfortable oasis - Loved the bedding it was elite and the aircon and the toilet are super cold and clean I just appreciated being on an island and having normal things. The pool bar was fine but they don’t come around and ask if you want more drinks you have to get off the bed and go to them and it takes ages so if they came around with beers on ice I reckon they would sell heaps.

• Georgina (8/5): Great location, perfect for a couple of nights in Koh Tao - Great location, we had a private room and it was great. Compact but well designed, pool was nice, and liked they gave you pool towels. There was a bit of a smell from the shower, but this was minor!

• Dominic (7/5): Great location - Nice pool, good location, private room had hairdryer and mini fridge! En suite smelt really bad of sewage.
• Inbal (5/5): - The location is perfect, the bed is comfortable There was bad smell in the room, we had to ask many times for cleaning, the room was small - even though they let us see the room before we paid, I don't think it's a good fit for two people. In addition, in the last night my friend was evacuated to the hospital in a different island so we had to check out at 6pm one night before we had to live, so I asked a refund for the last night and the answer was "you should have let us know before 2pm" - I'm so sorry I didn't know it 4 hours before... For my opinion, even if a full refund is no possible I would have expected a partial refund or at least a more sensitive answer.

• Ibrahim (1/5): - Nice location, room looked nice. The room smelt like garbage,me and two other people complained about the smell they didn’t do anything about it, the staff in the evening shift was very rude, no elevator, bathroom didn’t have a proper door.

• Elif (10/5): Will see you again soon!! - Best hostel in koh Tao, comfort and style. Staff are amazing, polite and friendly, happy to help with absolutely anything! Rooms are clean and comfy (comfiest hostel bed I’ve stayed in!!) nice touch to have you’re own safe in your bed pod. Location is amazing for sunset, and not to forget the rooftop pool ! Nothing !!!

• Jonathan (10/5): DEFINITELY worth staying - Such a great hostel, I was wanting to stay here for a while but was always booked up and I can see why! I managed to get lucky and get a few nights in and it was by far the BEST hostel I’ve stayed in. Dorms are well looked after with privacy, and facilities are always clean. Bonus of having a rooftop bar and pool. Solid food options too at the restaurant and great location! I cannot fault anything during my stay here!
• Christiane (8/5): Yes! I got a spot in savage - This hostel is legendary! So nice and feels more like a poshtel. The beds were incredible comfy. They even use toppers! Such a blessing for travellers backs… It is more of a party hostel as it’s located right next to sairee beach. They offer lots of activities and the staff is really really nice. The facilities are spotless. Due to it being located in a party area they designed the dorms to be inside / inner part of the building so that it’s really quiet during the night. Awesome hostel! As there are no windows in the rooms it might get smelly at times, depending on clothing/ wetness/ food brought into.

• Rebecca (8/5): Perfect for needing a cheaper option for accommodation as a couple. - Very good value for money in a nice clean modern hostel. The private rooms were very small. Although with the price and considering your staying in a hostel it’s not too bad. The shower situation again in the private rooms was tiny but also the hot water didn’t work all the time.

• David (8/5): Almost perfect - Pool. Staff. Massive SMART TV. Hot shower good pressure. Fantastic location. Room was very small. Yes, they say it’s compact but, it was a little too compact. This couple helped if they place shelving and more hooks on the wall to store stuff.

• David (8/5): Almost perfect. - Rooftop pool & bar. Snack bar below. Location is superb. 15 second walk to soft sand and warm sea. Sensational sunsets. Local eateries. Lovely welcome at reception. Room safe. Huge SMART TV in our room. We were expecting a small room and shower ‘cubicle’ but perhaps not quite this small. It’s not a major issue as we travel so light but, still it’s very compact. The shower area quickly fills with water in and around the toilet which is manageable to an extent. Having said that, I’d still go back to stay there.

For example pool party was supposed to have volleyball net set up but there was nothing out and burgers stopped being made by 5 pm when the poster said it went till 8pm

Le personnel nous a prêté un spray mais n’est pas intervenu directement, et n’avait pas l’air étonné. La piscine n’était pas très propre. La chambre privée était très petite, ce n’est pas pratique du tout ! Pour le prix on s’attend à de meilleures prestations

• Andrea (5/5): Savage Hostel - Great location, although the island allows you to stay almost anywhere and then get around easily by scooter. The staff is kind and the welcome kit is very well prepared. However, as mentioned in other reviews, the room is really, really small and above all poorly organized. There is no wardrobe, coat rack, or shelf placed in a useful and convenient way. The bathroom is tiny, with the shower above the sink, which forces anyone showering to flood the whole space. There is also an incredible smell coming from the bathroom drains, and since the room is so small it quickly fills with this unpleasant odor that lingers all the time. It’s a shame, because the place is nice, but it is really poorly designed and managed in this respect. We definitely won’t come back.

Beds super comfortable and good privacy also super good location and has a nice restaurant Some of the toilets kept getting clogged but staff were there fixing it, lights in room had motion sensor so turned on every time someone walked in and out.

• JIEUN (10/5): - 아름답다. 시원하다. 친절하다. 위치가 좋다. 쉴 공간이 많다. 수영장 예쁘다. 옥상 너무 좋다. 로비 쉬기 좋다. 완벽한 영어를 구사하는 스태프가 있었다. 금고도 좋다. 공용 화장실이나 욕실은 웨이팅이 있지만 괜찮았다. 깨끗했다. 좋은 숙소이다. 숙소 말고 손님이 문제. 비영어권 서양 여행자들이 밤에도 영상통화를 방안에서 했다. 친구들끼리도 수다를 계속 떨었다. 너무 매너가 없는 여성들이었다. 이 호스텔을 택시 드라이버들이 모른다. 스펠링을 알려주어도 모르더라. 항구에서 200밧이나 주고 택시를 탔는데 딴데 세워줘서 배낭을 메고 계속 걸어야 했다. 옥시즌 투어(이 투어 자체는 좋음. 강추)조차 이 호스텔을 몰라서 스노클링 투어 끝나고 딴 데 세워주었다. 또 걸어야 했다. (나는 스노클링 투어를 두 번 했는데 두 번 다 다른 곳에 세워줘서 걸어야 했다) 그래서 의문이다. 왜 현지인들이 이곳을 모르지? 그런 외부적인 문제 말고 아무 문제가 없다.

• Lisa (5/5): Emplacement super mais qualité des chambres à revoir ( places, sécurité, insonorisation) - Emplacement parfait Chambre trop petite pour 2 personnes, on ne peut même pas ouvrir les valises, les prises sont trop proches de la douches qui les éclabousse et les rends dangereuses, nous avons également eu un problème avec la climatisation, de plus les portes ne sont pas insonorisés et les salle de bain des chambres communes étaient juste en face ce qui était désagréable.
