Guest Reviews
- Tina Marie (7/5): Beautiful location, bbq area was awesome accommodation was roomy and nice property needs some maintenance completed for - Staff where wonderful and the location was lovely however our bungalow was quiet run down and definitely needs some maintenance completed. We also had someone in another bungalow smoking and was blowing into our bungalow The person in front of our bungalow smoking.
Could have been nicer if handles were not falling of when trying to open bedside draws
- Kay (6/5): Clean and comfortable and staff friendly and helpful - Accessible to all the places I needed to be No problem at all
- Bianca (6/5): - Location was great Hot water didn't work properly, wasnt very clean, smelt old and musty,
- Matthew (9/5): Relaxing - RELAXING AND GREST FOR KIDS Bungalow needed more maintence
- Maree (7/5): - Nice quiet location
Clean and tidy
Friendly reception staff The glass entry door did not lock. Only the screen door lock worked.
- Awhina (10/5): - Location, amenities, comfortable and homey staff was very friendly
- Felix (10/5): -
- David (8/5): Lovely stay - It's location suited us very well
- Samantha (10/5): If you want a quiet relaxing short stay and don’t mind a small cabin, these bungalows are perfect - Very convenient to shops and attractions Lots of pot holes on the road into the bungalows. But it’s a small issue as it’s not a busy street and you can go around them
- Vicki (10/5): -
- Fiona (7/5): - Comfortable and great position Had trouble finding villa in the dark. More signage. Other people were parked in numbered spot so didn’t see where to park straight away.
- Yvonne (10/5): Superb - Convenient NA

- buer (7/5): reasonable price - quiet good location , we have stayed previously so no surprises. would stay again. drive needs fixing big potholes.
- Symmons (5/5): - The location The beds are to small and short not comfortable enough to sleep in
- Les (8/5): -
- Kayla (6/5): - Bathroom was modern and kitchen had all the needed appliances. The bed was comfy and the aircon was great. When we arrived we found quite a bit of dust on the kitchen bench and shelves as well as there was seeming to be dust hair and like dead insects in the bathroom on the floor of the shower and on the walls. Would have been nice for this to have been cleaned before arrival, but like due to the surface space not being too much it was quick and easy for us to clean ourselves. Still if you book an apartment or a place like this you shouldn't have to clean it yourselves upon arrival. It also would have been nice to have a range hood over the stove top as cooking on everyday was fine, but on the final day even with the windows and the doors open, the smoke from cooking wasn't exiting. The window like it usually was in the first few days and instead filled the room and caused caution over potential fire alarm.
- Leanne (4/5): disappointed as its old and run down, needs a good reno and then it would e lovely. - the ungalows were cute and the place was nice. However, the place needs a renovation. The pluming needs redoing as it smelt of sewerage and there was ants everywhere. Hot water not working in the kitchen so had to use kettle to wash up.
- Kelly (10/5): Location was absolutely amazing! Close enough to everything you want to be close to but also secluded. Great being able - Location was amazing right on the river and next to an amazing pub.
- Cameron (6/5): Nice area - Good location by the river, in a quiet area close enough to the city. There is a good pub nearby. Bungalow was a bit run down, dark and dated considering the price.
- suzy (9/5): Awesome will come again - Perfect place for relaxing and enjoying scenery

- Annaleise (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): Enjoyed the stay, willl be coming back - Location was good, central to everywhere we went. The water front
- Idoya (5/5): Needs a bit of love but nice and peaceful - Location Smelly and aircon didn’t work well
- Hannah (9/5): -
- Shameena (8/5): -
- Tori (2/5): Not worth the money, view was great but the entire bungalow is outdated and falling apart - loose tiles, mould in bathro - View of the water. Loose lifted tiles in the bathroom, louvres peeling and not shutting, mould in bathroom, hot water wasn’t “hot”, no toilet paper, generally dirty unkept and not worth the price.
- Ashley (10/5): -
- Tasha (8/5): Great Location, Cozy Relaxing Spot - Great location, really peaceful and easy to relax. The bungalow was cute and cozy, and I loved that it had a fully equipped kitchen. Having access to a TV and DVD player was a nice touch, and the bathroom was lovely as well. Overall had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There were quite a few ants around during my stay, and the potholes on the property made driving in and out a bit tricky.
- Sandra (8/5): -
- Noela (8/5): Good for a few days - Position Grew old while water got hot.
- Lance (7/5): -

- David and Reyna (5/5): - Very clean, close to the town and river Double bed was small and my feet hung over the end. Single bed mattress was uncomfortable and felt like the wires coming out.
- Leigh (8/5): - Nice and close to everything
- Amiria (7/5): -
- Adrian (7/5): -
- Hannah (10/5): - top top top!!
- Adam (9/5): - Very clean and friendly staff No pool
- Joanne (6/5): It was ok pub is great walking distance - Fridge was cold good view The couch no battery flat in remote control no pressure in the shower
- Geoff (7/5): Great value in a peaceful and scenic location. - Quiet and peaceful - the bungalows well equipped, neighborly but private and secure. The grounds are well kept and the location is scenic. All in all it was perfect for me, great value for Maroochydore and I enjoyed my stay… Don’t forget to bring the Aerogard.

- evandro (10/5): Amazing - Our stay was simply fantastic, we enjoyed everything, great service and super attentive staff. I want to highlight that we arrived on the same day as a group of at least 50 teenagers and we thought, wrong time to travel, but it was excellent, we didn't hear anything and enjoyed great days, we will return. Perhaps I should mention the absence of a wardrobe, but given the space constraints, it's perfectly understandable.
- Neville (10/5): - Great place fanastic Great weekend thank yo
- Rachel (9/5): Fabulous riverside getaway! - Perfect location. Basic but comfortable cabins with everything you need. Proximity to the local dragon boat club.
- Terina (9/5): -
- Sandra (7/5): - Staff were great, bungalow was waterfront and a short walk the the tavern . Bungalows do need to be updated
- Casidhe (1/5): Bungalows more like junkalows - The only redeeming thing about this place is the river Everything else. The bungalow was smelly we where placed next to a school camp which ment my baby couldn't sleep because of the noise. So much for my post partem holiday.
Everything was out of its time.
My partner got shocked by the stupid outlet.near the kitchen sink
No vacuum supplied so you have to either deal with the sandy carpet or try sweap it the TV didn't work at all. The internet didn't work
4 minute time limit due to water restrictions but it takes 2 and a half minutes for the hot water to work.
No pool it was completely empty
All this for 540. Is absolutely rubbish. Should have never have come here
- Handley (8/5): -
- Diane Shelley (4/5): Ho hum - Not much. We expected a river cabin. Our view was the back of another cabin. I asked to change cabins yet was told they were all booked. They were for that night yet the following 2 nights the good ones were empty.
- David (4/5): - I liked the location. The linen smelt really bad like someone had rubbed their sweaty arm pits all over them, and it wasn't me...
- Craig (8/5): - Location Old and tired
- Guiney (7/5): I would definitely stay there again, but needs some TLC - Location was excellent. Access to the lake was perfect. Tavern in walking distance Facilities need upgrading. New coat of paint inside. Bathroom renovated. New sofas. Outside paths are uneven and dangerous.
- Sunny Traveller (8/5): Na - Na Na
- Nina (8/5): -
- Greg (9/5): -
- Stjepan (10/5): -
- Vern Hardie (8/5): -
- Elyse (7/5): - The air con didn’t work too well and it was really hot. Only one fan worked.
- jarrod (6/5): -
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Tracey (8/5): -
- Robert (8/5): -
- Mark & Charli (10/5): Beautiful and serene stay will be back - The peaceful and calmness of the water being so close There wasn't anything we didn't like
- Judith (3/5): Totally Overpriced. - The Bungalow was not upgraded. Bedroom fan not working. Toilet constantly leaking. Louvre Windows would not close. Very Disappointing. I believe booking with a third party we were given this Bungalow. I have booked with Booking. Com for many years. Never have I given a negative review
Totally Overpriced.
- Malav (10/5): -
- Mikaella (8/5): - The staff were lovely. Location was great. Place is tired but remarkably clean. The main bed was a double, pretty small for us.
- Alison (10/5): -
- Tricia (8/5): Quiet location lovely view close to attractions - Great location
Comfortable and quiet bungalows
- Cheryl (8/5): - Great to receive old fashioned customer service when checking in. Not contactless check in. The lady at the reception was lovely. Great location and a great little unit. Happily stay again.
- Janelle (9/5): Nice quiet location - Didn't have breakfast. Used the tavern next door.
- Evan (6/5): - it was well located and clean and beds were nice, cabins are compact but well fitted out, some attention was needed to the flyscreens but overall clean and tidy. we saw a pool on the website but it was fenced off and not available when we were there, also parking could have been better sorted although it looked like that was being fixed.
- Theresa (6/5): Nice location and peaceful - Location
- Laura (8/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): - Had everything we needed. Plenty of beds and bedding for children. Bungalow was spotless and amazing shower. Nothing close by. Have to drive everywhere. Big temp fence on grass area made it feel like a construction site. Would be nice to be able to use the lawn area.
- Peter (7/5): Ok for a night but would not consider a longer stay - location overlooking the river proximity to the major road
- Glen (6/5): - Location Bungalows are very old and lots of internal patch ups could do with a freshen up, our vehicle was broken into in the carpark and $7000 worth of tools stolen from the vehicle, some additional lighting and cameras in the carpark would be a great addition.
- Rodney (5/5): Satisfactory but "lounge room" should have the TV opposite a lounge (not 2 fold out type beds). - Location and staff. Roof was very noisy and fire alarm false alarmed twice (in the middle of the night).
- Nathan (8/5): - Great value for money and very conveniently located. Also much quieter compared to most places we stay. Hot water took a while to get cranking. Pillows a bit soft for my liking but the kids had no issues.
- Parker (10/5): - Everything it was awesome!!
- Jamie (9/5): -
- James (7/5): -
- Joy (9/5): We enjoyed our short stay too bad. We could not stay longer. Our children would’ve loved it. Probably need two cabins to - My wife and I absolutely enjoyed ourselves lovely and quiet easy access to the northern grounds bar and Grill. Excellent location for what we needed for as attending a funeral at Coolum.
- Michael (8/5): -
- Livia (8/5): -
- Karen (5/5): It was quite great customer service wish there was at pool - It was right on the river It felt like there was holes in the floor the tv was in the wrong place and you couldn’t lock the sliding door from the outside only could lock the screen door
- Donna (7/5): -
- Angie (7/5): Beautiful location, room was a bit tired and the aircon didn’t work but we enjoyed our stay all the same - We loved the location waking up to the waterfront was amazing The aircon didn’t work very well we had it running all day and it was cooler outside. The single beds were very uncomfortable we ended up sleeping on the couch. The double bed was nice though
- Scott (8/5): -
- Paivi (7/5): Maroochydore bungalows - Location is great for fishing . Next door great restaurant, good quality meals. Short drive to Maroochydore central and cotton tree beach. Bungalows have mini fridge not big enough for family .Also tv is mini size and old not all channels available. Airconditioning didn't work well.
- Nadine (5/5): -
- Shane (8/5): - Small.tv
- Tony (10/5): Fabulous, relaxing and revitalising stay. - Location was fabulous, the views were marvellous. The bungalow was well equipped for our xmas holiday and my husband thought the bbq was a great treat. We did struggle to find our bungalow in the dark. A map with the key may have shortened our wandering around.
- Lopes (6/5): It was ok - Location is amazing The bungalows need some renovation, specially the toilet. It is ok and not uncomfortable, but aesthetically is not beautiful and a bit expensive for what offers.
- Richard (9/5): Great spot, great staff and great accommodation! - Excellent location with a friendly staff and clean, perfectly sized room for a single visitor like myself. Very relaxed atmosphere which is easy to find. Had a great stay. Happy with everything provided!
