• Monika (10/5): - It was the best hostel I stayed in in Slovenia. It is very good value for money and was the perfect stop for my hiking trip. If you are doing the Juliana trail or Alpe Adria Trail, I would recommend to stay here. The kitchen is good equipped, there is an amazing terrace (walk up the stairs) to rest after a full day of hiking. The dorms have big lockers, curtains a plug right next to your bed. If you are remote working like me, the kitchen was an ideal place to work. Bus stop and super market are close by.

• Bojan (9/5): Zelo spodobno bivališče za krajše postanke v Kobaridu. - Lokacija - najbolj mirna ulica v centru in Kobarid je čudovit, muzej v isti ulici je izjemen, gostinska ponudba je raznovrstna. Parkirišča ni pri hostlu, niti plačljivo, brezplačno je daleč.

• Franziska (10/5): 12/10 - Ich würde dieses Hostel als 5 Sterne Hostel bewerten. Es hat alles was man braucht. Kaffee und Tee sind gegen eine kleine Spende in der Küche zur freien Verfügung. Es gibt eine Spülmaschine, Gewürze stehen zur freien Verfügung. Die Duschen und Toiletten waren immer sauber. Es gibt oben eine Terrasse mit gemütlicher Sitzgelegenheit um den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Die Betten haben alle ein eigenes Schließfach und Vorhänge. Ich habe über das Hostel Paragliding gebucht und es war super! Absolut empfehlenswert.

• Benjamin (5/5): Lots of hassle and trouble for simple requests. - There was no in person check in and passport had to be uploaded or sent via messaging. Not the most secure way to transfer sensitive information. Reception was unstaffed the entire time. Had to message back and forth with the owner to turn on the air conditioner even when it was still hot in August. There was no control of the AC in the room, had to WhatsApp them. They said that it was “cool” in August so refused to turn on the AC and asked for the windows to be opened instead. Only after multiple people in the room asked did they relent. Would not say that this qualifies as “premium” as the name suggests. I think 5/10 is fair and not overly harsh.

• Orpaz (7/5): - Facilities and rooms are great. There are also amazing places above the hostel to walk up to, to have a coffee or eat a meal, which is on the property. Terrible staff. One bald man in particular. Really rude. Two hours before our check in we stopped by just to use the bathroom and he gave us a really hard time about it. On the day of checkout we were downstairs just finishing our coffee with all our bags with us and ready to go, he came in and it was 5 minutes past checkout time and he threatened to fine us if we didn’t get out. Really made us feel like we were homeless beggars from the street instead of paying customers. They also charge 5 euros to leave bags before check in. Great hostel but he ruined our stay.
• Marcel (9/5): - Die Mehrbettzimmer sind groß und bieten ausreichend Platz für Koffer und Gepäck. Eine kleine Sitzmöglichkeit finder darin auch Platz. Im Außenbereich kann man gemütlich verweilen. WC und Duschen sind ausreichend vorhanden, sowie für jeden Gast einen eigenen Locker unter dem Bett.
• Ingo (10/5): - Ich reise seit knapp 20 Jahren und das ist das beste Hostel, in dem ich je war. Ich schreibe sonst fast nie Beurteilungen, aber das Hostel hat wirklich eine verdient. Tägliche Reinigung, super Küche, mehrere gemütliche Außenbereiche, Vorhänge für jedes Bett für Privatsphäre, super Gastgeber... Was will man mehr. Die Gastgeber reisen selbst viel und wollten ein Hostel erschaffen, in dem sie selbst gerne bleiben würden und das merkt man auch. Absolute Empfehlung!

• Peter (9/5): - This place is gorgeous. The rooms, in which we sleept felt like a mountain hut. They have an outstanding garden in the backyard, where you could sit on terraces, having your own space and having a nice view over the town. The kitchen has all you want. For parking leave your car near the local supermarket, which is a 5 mins walk.

The property has very strict guidelines concerning the quiet hours, so at precisely 22:00 you could not hear a sound in the whole building, which I really appreciated. The beds in the dorms offer curtains for additional privacy, there's a well equipped kitchen and overall good facilities.

• Vivian (10/5): We highly recommend it! - We spent two nights. We stayed at the room with three other couples. We had a double bed and it was very comfortable. The space arrangement is really good, so you can feel a high level of privacy (there are some curtains if you want to use). The place was super clean during the whole day (toilets, bathroom, kitchen, beds). You can use the kitchen to prepare your meals -very organized and equipped. We loved the upper terraces, they had a beautiful view and they very relaxing. We enjoyed spending time there in the early evening. The hosts were very kind and helpful with everything. We asked for some tips and they gave us with pleasure some really good recommendations. We also went paragliding in the Kobarid valley with our host, who is a very experienced guide. It was a safe, unforgettable experience that we truly enjoyed. It’s really a nice location. Kobarid is a peaceful city. You can enjoy a lot of trails close to the area. It is very close to Bovec if you are interested to have some activities like rafting, canoeing etc and it is also very close to Italy if you want to go for a walk (20 minutes). R Nothing!
• Alasdair (7/5): Smart hostel in centre. - We stayed one night in Kobarid on the Juliana Trail. Hostel is centrally located so we walked right up to it, its close to the centre square with excellent restaurant Kotlar, and other choices. Walk of Peace centre and museum nearby. Very white and freshly appointed. Bunks good with lights, power, wifi and curtains, lockable drawers. Bathrooms clean, spacious, hot showers. Kitchen also large, well equipped. Rested well and good to go next morning. All good.
• Romina (9/5): - Ostello in centro, funzionale, pulito. Cucina con tutto il necessario. Letti a castello doppi. Zona esterna con diverse possibilità di aree relax. Possibilità di tenere le bici al sicuro. Qualche appoggio in più in bagno/docce renderebbe più funzionale il tutto.

• Liz (9/5): Petite bulle - On entre dans un petit cocoon, lumineux, bien décoré, propre. Les espaces et équipements communs sont bien pensé. Les dortoirs sont confortable, le système de lockers grand et pratique. Le rideau au niveau du lit permet de sentir dans sa bulle. Points bonus : le petit chat mignon et l'espace sur la terrasse extérieure Peux être que ça manque d'espace pour poser les affaires dans la salle de bain

Die Küche befand sich im Parterre, sodass man den Geräuschpegel nicht wahrnahm. Die Duschen waren modern und groß. Allerdings musste die Kleidung draußen bleiben und es war sehr eng, sich anzuziehen

• Ignatov (10/5): - As the name suggest, it is really a premium hostel. Located in the hart of the town, in a old house that was transformed into a modern hostel. Big rooms, comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms and toilets. Nice Ikea furniture. The staff, they just behave like a snobs.

• Dede (10/5): An excellent, central hostel in peaceful Kobarid - The staff are lovely and friendly. The hostel itself is brilliantly designed for travellers and has a very well-equipped, stylish kitchen. The 8-bed dorm room is very spacious and bright - each bunk bed has a curtain for privacy, a plug, reading light, and a locker beneath it which is so handy. And make sure to enjoy the beautiful, mossy terraces in the garden which look out over the valley and the church tower. I wish I had booked another night. Thank you :)

Absolutely amazing multi-level garden with chairs and tables. There is enough space to hang and dry clothes. In the dormitory, every bed has a curtain — it's very pleasant.

• Christiane (10/5): - Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen: tolle Küchen Ausstattung, spätere Anreise war kein Problem, alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, alles sehr sauber, Etagenbetten mit Vorhang für Privatsphäre.... Und ein traumhafter Garten in Form von mehreren Terrassen Ebenen mit lauschigen Plätzchen zum Zurückziehen und Aussicht über den Ort. Schmutzige Mountainbiks waren kein Probkem! Komme immer wieder gern!
