Irina (8/5): - Хорошее расположение. В номере чисто, просторно. Гель для душа, мыло, шампунь, тапки. Фен очень короткий, длинные волосы нк удобно сушить. Завтрак приносят из соседнего кафе, каждый день одинаковый, в боксах . Звукоизоляция отсутствует , но улица достаточно тихая, спать ни кто не мешал. Вид из окна на Галатскую башню. Не понравилось что отель весь прокуренный, на ресепшене воняет, на этаже воняет. Слава богу в номере нормально (я брала аромо-саше для номера).

Un input costruttivo che ho da dare è fare più attenzione alla pulizia dei cuscini delle sedie esterne e magari i comodini e l’armadio si vede che era un po’ vecchiotti. Credo che varrebbe la pena fare dei piccoli ammodernamenti del mobilio al fine di rendere la camera molto più bella. (Ho alloggiato nella suit king size con balcone)

Simon (8/5): Ωραία εμπειρία, μικρό αλλά όμορφο δωμάτιο στην καλύτερη περιοχή της πόλης. - Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, καθαρό και ήσυχο κατάλυμα. Υπήρχαν ορισμένες αστοχίες όπως τρύπιο λάστιχο του ντουζ και το μερικώς βουλωμένο σιφόνι της ντουζιέρας, όπου γέμιζε νερό η ντουζιέρα και άδειαζε σιγά σιγά. Το τρίτο κρεβάτι ήταν ο καναπές, που για ένα ψηλό άτομο, όπως εμένα, δεν ήταν άνετος. Τέλος, για τρίκλινο δωμάτιο θα ήθελα να υπάρχουν τουλάχιστον δύο καρέκλες στον χώρο.

The location is quite good for getting around. The staff was polite. The bed was comfortable. The room we were assigned was in an evident state of neglect. We encountered various issues, such as a lack of hangers and bath mats, a clogged shower drain, and water leaking from the toilet. Also the lighting had some problems (flickering light bulbs) and the safe was useless. The breakfast is very hearty, but it arrives pre-packaged with no options to choose from. However, the coffee, cappuccino, tea, etc., are made to order and are very good. Being close to Galata tower also means that most restaurants around are tourist traps, to be avoided (overly expensive and with average food quality).

Claire (4/5): Localisation et literie bien, photos et descriptifs mensongers, hôtel non entretenu, services nul - Situation et literie Nous avions réservé un espace familial (2 chambres concomitantes), il s'est avérée qu'il y avait une grande chambre sans fenêtre et une plus petite avec deux petites fenêtres donnant sur cours (ce qui ne correspondait absolument pas au descriptif). Cette dernière présentait de multiples traces de dégâts des eaux (odeur de moisi) et une salle de bain qui dégageait une odeur pestilentielle d'égout, insoutenable, et un lit coincé entre deux murs. Après plusieurs demandes pour changer de chambre, la direction a finalement accepté - le lendemain soir de notre arrivée - en nous installant dans une chambre confortable à l'étage, ce qui était évident fort appréciable mais pas du tout pratique avec nos enfants. Pas de service de chambre pendant le séjour. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel propose un service de taxi pour l'aéroport, deux fois plus cher que le prix que nous avons payé en prenant un taxi à l'angle de la rue, ce qui ne me semble pas correct dans une ville déjà très chère.

La pulizia lasciava un po’ a desiderare. La camera era piena di polvere e il giorno dopo, quando ci hanno sistemato la stanza, non abbiamo trovato i cuscini e la coperta. Abbiamo poi scoperto che erano nell’armadio. Il rassetto delle camere era fatto in maniera frettolosa e poco precisa. Altra pecca, l’albergo non offre la colazione. É presente un bar, ma solo un cappuccino costa 4,50€. Avremmo gradito al nostro arrivo che il ragazzo alla reception ci avesse fornito più informazioni sulla zona e una cartina con i principali servizi del quartiere.

Arnstein (8/5): God valuta, topp beliggenhet - Perfekt beliggenhet rett ved Galata-tårnet, sentralt, men likevel skjermet og rolig. Hyggelig liten kafe i første etasje med mulighet for te og kaffe, og mulighet for å få frokost servert fra en nærliggende kafe (prøvde ikke dette - flere fine frokoststeder i nærheten). Greit renhold, men det må bes om ved å henge ut lapp, fungerte greit mens vi var der. Hyggelig og behjelpelig ansatte i resepsjonen, påfyll av kaffe og vann underveis. Vårt rom i første etasje var mot en slags bakgård, og kun det ene av rommene (vi hadde to sammenslåtte rom), hadde vindu. Aircondition så ut til å være defekt/mangle vedlikehold på tidspunktet vi var der - heldigvis ikke et problem. Litt begrenset ventilasjon/avtrekk på bad. Noe slitt, og litt enkle/billige løsninger i oppbygning/oppussing av rommene. Lite kjøkkenutstyr på leilighetene, så ikke planlegg for noe større matlaging, men greit for litt enkel oppbevaring/frokost.

The location is excellent—just a 5–6 minute walk from Galata Tower, making it very convenient for exploring the area. The surroundings are lively, with plenty of shops and restaurants in every direction. By the afternoon, the whole neighborhood comes alive and creates a festive, vibrant atmosphere. Another highlight is that the famous Rooftop Galata photo spot is only about a 7–8 minute walk away, which made it easy to enjoy one of Istanbul’s must-do experiences. Overall, it was a pleasant and memorable stay. One thing I didn’t like about the location is that it is in a hilly area with very congested roads. This can make getting around a bit difficult. I noticed two main issues during my stay. First, tourist buses are often unwilling to come directly to the hotel for pick-up and drop-off, which can be inconvenient. Second, walking in this area can be challenging, especially for people who are sick or not physically fit, due to the steep and narrow streets. These factors may be something to consider before booking.

Sabrina (8/5): Gutes Hotel in Top Lage! - die Lage des Hotels ist der Hammer - die Seitenstraße ist ganz nah am Galataturm und auch nicht weit von der Istiklal Caddesi entfernt. schnelle Anbindung an Metro, Straßenbahn und Fähren - alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Perfekt, wenn man zentral, aber dennoch nicht mitten im Trubel sein möchte. Ansonsten war auch die Einrichtung (wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon) völlig in Ordnung und auch das Bett war angenehm. Auch das Cafe im Hotel war super für einen Kaffee vor dem Start in die Stadt, auch die Auswahl an Kaffee war groß. Die Mitarbeiter waren eher wortkarg und wirkten nicht so motiviert. Wenn man etwas wissen wollte, musste man einfach fragen, von den Mitarbeitern kam nichts an Infos zum Zimmer, zu Aktivitäten in der Nähe,... Für uns hat es gepasst, da es nicht unser erster Aufenthalt in Istanbul war.

The place is falling apart. It needs renovation. Rooms are ok, but depens what you select, bathroom can be ridiculously small you dont even have space to pee. Bed sheets were dirty, I had to ask for new ones the first night. We found blood on the floor outside our room (floor 1) in front of thr elevator probably coming from one of the cats. Assistance from reservation manager was terrible. I had to.pray to ask for changes, not even booking.com was able to assist. Terrible service, will never come back again.

There were fixed screws coming out of the floor next to the bed, already showing signs of rust, which is completely unacceptable. The bathroom was unusable, the toilet could not be used due to a broken flush. There was also an internal door inside the room with no sound insulation, and we could clearly hear other people, which completely destroyed any sense of privacy and safety. We still tried to spend one night there, but it was impossible to rest. The guests in that room had to leave and quickly find another hotel. The staff was arrogant and completely dismissed the situation, saying “I don’t see what the problem is, people stay in that room and don’t complain”. When we asked for a refund, the response was “we have nothing to do with that, you booked through Booking, deal with them”. The room does not match the photos shown on Booking at all. The whole experience gives the feeling of a misleading system where what is sold does not reflect reality. Avoid.

Bertan (8/5): Alles in Allem ist es eigentlich ein gutes Hotel, aber es ist einfach nur vom Personal her sehr mangelhaft. Ich war, da - Lage: Super zentrale Lage, vom Fenster seitlich ist der Galata-Turm zu sehen, Fußweg unter einer Minute zum Galata-Tower. Sehr steile Straßen, Taxis fahren nicht immer hoch, also definitiv nichts für faule Leute. Mich persönlich hat das überhaupt nicht gestört. Viele Cafes, Restaurants alles mögliche unter 10 Minuten (Karaköy, Galata, Cihangir, Taksim). Zimmer/Ausstattung/Sauberkeit: Ich hatte das XX-Zimmer. Die Größe war für bis zu zwei Personen mehr als ausreichend. Bett war bequem. Optik der Einrichtung ist schön. WLAN funktioniert super. Die haben einen Fahrstuhl/Lift. Also alles in Allem müsste man ein paar neue Möbel bzw. Ausstattungsteile mal wieder wechseln. Aber für den Preis erwarte ich auch kein neues und perfektes Mobiliar. Ich gehe stark davon aus, dass das Mobiliar seitdem es vor 6/7 Jahren eröffnet wurde, dasselbe ist. Sauberkeit grundlegend in Ordnung, aber nicht super sauber. Zimmer/Ausstattung/Sauberkeit: Föhn war kaputt, dafür gab es ein Ersatzföhn. Einige Ecken und Kanten waren nicht mehr auf dem Neuesten Stand und etwas heruntergekommen. Waschbecken hatte ganz viele Risse, Spiegel, Möbel waren hier und da etwas beschädigt. Wände bzw. Tür sind eher dünn und etwas hellhörig. Wenn jemand im Flur ist hört man ALLES. Wenn jemand Wasser nutzt hört man es nachts. Ich hatte Glück und hatte leise Nachbarn. Sauberkeit war eher durchschnittlich. Es waren einige Haare auf dem Bett, hier und da etwas staubig, aber die groben Oberflächen wurden tagtäglich gereinigt. Handtücher wurden auch täglich gewechselt. Damit das geschieht, muss man aber den TürAufhänger aufhängen, sonst wird nicht geputzt. Das Reinigungspersonal ist immer bis 16:00 Uhr vor Ort. Also für jemanden, der es sehr sauber möchte, ist das Hotel definitiv nichts. Ich konnte damit leben, es war nicht dramatisch. Es ist grundlegend sauber und wirklich in Ordnung. PERSONAL: Das Personal ist leider wirklich sehr zurückhaltend und nicht sympathisch. Man wird nicht begrüßt, nicht verabschiedet oder Ähnliches. Das Personal ist die ganze Zeit über Stunden hinweg nur am Handy. Habe es selbst beobachtet, als ich unten im Cafe saß. Es wird nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war, man wird nie begrüßt oder verabschiedet, auch nicht beim Check-Out. Außer man begrüßt Sie zuerst als Gast, dann gibt’s netterweise eine kurze Antwort. Bei Fragen geht das Personal wenigstens drauf ein, aber immer sehr widerwillig. Die Koffer kann man nach dem Check-Out gegenüber der Rezeption stehen lassen, wo das Gepäck dann öffentlich im Gang steht. Late Check-Out wurde prinzipiell verneint. Auf Nachfrage, ob ich ab 14:30 Uhr kurz meine Koffer irgendwo im privaten umpacken kann, wurde es abgelehnt, da Sie angeblich keine Räumlichkeiten haben. Es waren aber mehrere Hotelzimmer noch frei, was ich selbst vorher kontrolliert hatte. Ich finde es einfach sehr schade, wenn man als Gast angelogen und verarscht wird.

Recommended. - Comfortable bed, beautiful wooden floor tiles, rustic exposed brick wall, excellent location in a tourist-friendly area, convenient hangers for clothes, great heating system (especially during cold weather), reliable hot water shower, a hair dryer provided, and useful toiletries. Power sockets were inconvenient as my adapter didn't fit well, next time I will be better prepared for this. The AC remote didn't work even though it was on, but the room temperature was manageable.

Il secondo giorno si è rotto lo scarico del water. La televisione non ha mai funzionato. La stanza si trovava in un locale vicino lo sgabuzzino ed era poco funzionale. La prima colazione va chiesta in largo anticipo e non è a buffet. È solo con piatti del luogo senza possibilità di scelta. Il personale scortese, indifferente e per nulla accogliente. Esperienza da non ripetere.
