Excellent day trip to the islands, would highly recommend. Only thing I’d say is the hallway into apartment is not very nice but once you get in it’s perfect,

• Ian (9/5): - Great location for exploring. Spacious and clean Responsive communication from host/ company Great value Images/ photos show two single beds in one room. These were not present only three double beds. Initial key collection out of hours was allowed but this was not straightforward. Keys were collected from a lock box, which was not at the entrance to the apartment. There are two or three uneven sections of the wooden floor in one bedroom creating a small hazard.

Vi ankom lidt før det aftalte tidspunkt og blev bedt om at aflevere vores bagage et andet sted, ca. fem minutters gang fra lejligheden. Det fremgik dog ikke tydeligt af korrespondancen, at bagagen skulle afleveres på en anden adresse. På grund af mængden af bagage, børn mv. blev vi derfor nødt til at bestille en ny taxa. Da vi ankom til bagagedepotet, fik vi besked om, at lejligheden allerede var klar, og vi måtte derfor tage hele turen tilbage. Desuden var der ikke aircondition i lejligheden, som vi ellers havde forventet – kun loftsventilatorer.

Comme le logement n'a pas de climatisation, des ventilateurs efficaces sont essentiels. Il aurait été préférable d'avoir des ventilateurs plus puissants.

• Gail Bischke (8/5): We would recommend this apartment for future stays. - Great rear patio off kitchen, spacious apartment to accommodate our group, great location. Ran out of hand soap in bathroom and no dishwasher detergent but contacted the owner and was responded quickly.

• Caroline (10/5): Appartement très bien situé et confortable - L’appartement est très bien situé, au calme mais très proche du centre de Faro. Il est aussi tres confortable, propre et spacieux. La personne qui nous a accueilli nous a aussi donné de supers conseils pour notre séjour.
• Gary (9/5): Great apartment, excellent location, would certainly book again. - The property was great for our 2 night booking. Well appointed property. Great courtyard too. Unfortunately our flight on Friday was cancelled so we lost a full day of planned activities in Faro as we had to get a Saturday afternoon flight from another airport. I had stayed in Faro 2 weeks before arriving and located the property in advance of our stay. We picked up the keys from one property and our property was a few doors along. Unfortunately we had real difficulties unlocking the front door. Not sure if it was the key or lock but all 4 of us tried and eventually it opened. As it was late we were getting frustrated and concerned there was a mix up. All good in the end but worth checking.

• Carlos (10/5): Wonderful stay - Super spacious apartment, super clean and all amenities included. It is simply amazing. Rachel was a wonderful host, who gave us recommendations and showed us how to operate everything in the apartment. The beds were super comfy and the ceiling fans were perfect to not be too hot during the night. The location of the apartment is also ideal, walking distance from everything and you can easily explore the beautiful city of Faro ☺️ We wanna return for longer next time! Nothing, everything was perfect!!

• Sarah (8/5): Great location and price but main - Size of the apartment was great, as was the very large outside courtyard. Really, really difficult to get in to the apartment block. Lock needs oil, or replaced. Put us off going there again. Did meet the hosts who gave us another key which was equally difficult to use. Ended up leaving one of our group in the apartment when we went out for dinner as we were worried that we’d not be able to get in again.
• Kate (8/5): Perfect stop over - We stayed here for a short stopover before flying home. The location was very central, with just a couple of minutes walk to shops and restaurants. We found everything we needed at the apartment and the rear terrace was a real bonus. We called when we arrived and they came to meet us at the apartment within 10 minutes to let us in. We were also provided with a handy map with recommendations for places to eat and drink. It was very hot when we were staying, and whilst the ceiling fans helped, air con would have been much more effective. We also had an issue with ants invading the kitchen, so make sure food is away and covered. We didn't have a car, but the streets around the apartment are narrow and busy, and I should imagine that parking would be difficult. However, the apartment is quite close to transport links and was only a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport.

• Nicholas (10/5): Fabulous stay in Faro, which feels like a real town, not a holiday resort! We loved it! - The spacious apartment was perfect for our trip, my wife and I in one room, and daughter (23) and my son (21) had a room of their own in this light spacious and well appointed apartment! 2 bathrooms also made things much easier and the balconies were a welcome feature, we absolutely loved this place! The lock on the door of the building is a little tempremental, but once you work out how to juggle the key, it is not a problem!

• Procházková (9/5): Superb - We enjoyed our stay to the maximum - perfect and fast communication with the host. When needed, everything was solved immediately. The appartement is spacious, clean, kitchen equipped with everything you need, comfotable beds, private patio. Everything is round the corner - city centre, Marina, free parking lot, Drive4Miles car rent company (highly recommend). Minimarket right below the appartment. As a family of 5, we were fully satisfied.

• Jossy (8/5): Very good - Good Location, Good Rooms, Good Kitchen with dishwasher, owen, utensils etc, Spacious living room. The keys of the main building and our apt. door were not working well. We had to struggle each time we came back to the apartment. Just on the day we were about to checkout one staff member came with a new set of keys. There were 2 toilets but only one had a shower for all the guests! So the guests had to wait a long time to have a bath. None of the english television channels like BBC, SKY News etc were working.

Really helpful, appreciated assistance with phone calls to taxi company arranging pick up of 6 people and 6 bikes. Storage of bikes & bags in the afternoon a brilliant service for us. Fab garden we enjoyed using. We used the apartment but the B&B looked great even though we only enjoyed the courtyard and coffee. Thank you.

• Laurie (10/5): It was a lovely apartment - The lady was very helpful when we met her The postcode takes you to the property, but you then have to walk to get the keys from a collection point and then back again. With lots of cases, this wasn't ideal, especially in the heat, although it wasn't too long a walk. It would have been better to have the postcode to the collection place initially, where you were able to leave the bags if you arrive before check in time :)
• Jerry (2/5): Pretty shitty, thank god it was short. - We told them the exact time of arrival, as the info says they are 5m away. they arrived 20 minutes late. the keys are very poor copies, we spent 15m outside the front door at night trying to get into the building. We made our selection including air-conditioning as a must, as we knew it would be hot. There was no air-conditioning, and the ceiling fans didnt work, so we cooked. The booking said 5 beds, there were only 3 double beds, so the other beds were probably floor matresses, but that was not clear anywhere in the text we saw.

• Hila (8/5): An sich super Apartment nur Check befriedigend - Ein sehr gut gelegenes und sauberes Apartment. Wir hatten zwei Toiletten im Apartment und konnten aber nur eins benutzen weil das Waschbecken in dem anderen WC undicht war und die ganze Zeit Wasser rausgetropft ist und den Boden und den Föhn nass gemacht hat. Nachdem ich in der Unterkunft am ersten Tag angerufen habe, hat man mir gesagt, dass man sich darum kümmern wird und jemand am nächsten Tag es reparieren wird. Dies ist nicht geschehen, was ich sehr schade fand. Das Apartment ist für 6 oder 7 Leute ausgelegt. Wir waren nur zu dritt, wären wir aber mehr gewesen, wäre es mit nur einem Bad wirklich schwer geworden. Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind super nett. Ich hätte mir lediglich gewünscht, dass man besser kommuniziert hätte, dass der Check in nicht im Apartment erfolgt, sondern in einem Hotel, was so ähnlich heißt und 5 min entfernt ist. In einer Mail hieß es, wir müssten zu Lemon Tree Stay fahren und dort könnten wir die Koffer ablegen, weil wir früher als zum Check in Zeitpunkt da waren. Da sich Lemon Tree Stay und Lemon Tree Apartments sehr ähnlich anhört, kommt man erst gar nicht auf die Idee, dass es zwei unterschiedliche Orte sind. Deswegen war ich sehr verwirrt, als ich vor dem Apartment stand und niemand da war um aufzumachen. Erst nachdem ich angerufen habe, hat man mir gesagt, dass ich zu Lemon Tree Stay müsste und dass es nicht das gleiche wie das Apartment ist. Ich habe nach der Adresse gefragt und da hieß es, ja Googlen sie, dann finden sie es schon.

The outside patio was good to keep the kids running around Our check in was delayed because the keys were lost. We were only aware of this after we arrived at our agreed upon checkin time. The owner offered us a bottle of wine and gelatos for the kids to make it up. Good business practice but not the nicest surprise
• James (9/5): Good option for a central stay. Nothing more than a 5-10 minute walk. - Central location. Spacious. Generous terrace. Mini-market literally underneath. Some street noise, but that's nothing to do with the apartment. You are in a central location.

I thought I had a room in the Inn but they were sold out and put us in a 3 bedroom apartment a few blocks away at a much higher price. I was disappointed. Much more than I needed but since I needed a room what else was I to do. I wish the commutation at booking time had been better. The apartment would work well for a family though. Very clean and well located in the center of the fun part of town

• Lyndsey (8/5): Great weather, easy walking distance to harbour very relaxing and well equipped apartment. - Great size rooms, good space, very clean, lovely size terrace. Could have done with more comfy seating in the sitting room rather than just the sofa and two bean bags for 6 adults. Also a couple of sun loungers for the terrace would have been great. The main entrance door lock to the building was tricky to use and took several attempts to unlock to get in.

And there’s construction going on right outside so not much of a view. The electricity also kept turning off and on.

• Michele (9/5): Great stay and would definitely recommend and return. - The apartment was super well located but at the same time on a quiet street so no noise at night. Plus, there was a little shop right next door which was very convenient for getting groceries. Prices were very good in the shop. The apartment was very charming and had a nice little terrace. The beds were surprisingly comfortable. Overall, best stay in the Algarve for us. Lighting could have been a bit better and it was a bit difficult to unlock entrance door.

• Brieuc (9/5): So so perfect! - Very spacious, very comfortable and I am normally quite picky with bed etc. This flat was so good. We had a rainy day and very lucky to have many many English channels with movies and tv shows! There is very little not to like. Maybe the fact one lock on the bathroom door was not working? But that’s not even a complaint. Just trying to find something to write here !

When there was a lack of communication from booking.com regarding the bed situation the straff were very helpful to solve the problem. A little worn, but three bed roms for the price.

• Dawn (6/5): We enjoyed our stay, the apartment was spacious and well located for the centre of Faro. - Good location, although as the apartment was in a residential location and had a supermarket and Tapas Bar next door, it was a little noisy some nights. The apartment was spacious and well-equipped. All the staff at Lemon Tree Apartments were very helpful and gave us a map and advice on some very good restaurants. We booked a room with twin beds and 2 double beds, however, we were given 3 rooms with double beds - not ideal for 5 ladies who did not want to share a bed. To be fair we were given the opportunity to change apartments the next day, but we had unpacked etc. so decided to stay. There were no spare sheets for the sofa bed - just loads of pillowcases we found under the sofa. We could have asked, but again, spare bedding should have been provided without the hassle of asking and we were only there for 4 nights. There were some maintenance problems. The parquet flooring was beautiful but was loose all over the apartment which was a trip hazard and not very comfortable with bare feet. The sink tap in the bathroom was very loose. The outdoor space was appreciated but disappointing as it got no sun and was quite windy, although it was good for breakfast.
