- Tama (1/5): Horrible - Location No TV, No AC, rats all over. No toilet paper until asked, very dirty sheets. Door doesn’t have a dead bolt. The whole toilet and shower is a mess. You have to go down from the bed to switch on or off the lights. No fridge and of course no drinking water. Unless you buy it. The fan is loud so much you can’t sleep with it on Breakfast was a total disaster

Hotel provides passes to a beachfront hotel for beach visits, swimming and much more fun. Breakfast options limited to only one selection during the whole stay. Bed sizes were smaller compared to the last visit. Mosquito repellent not provided. Gym is under equipped Pool table can't be used No karaoke room was found at location despite being quoted as one of what's offered.

- Salma muhani (3/5): Horrible stay - I booked the place for 6nights , after I stayed there for 3days my 1year old became very sick vommit and having diarrhea because of the their tap water which the property manager did not inform us of their posinous tap water. When it's time for housekeeping the staff would clean the room without removing rugs in the room, they would mop only the floor without cleaning basin and toilet seat. We had to sleep on dirty smelly duvets for two nights until we request them to change duvets meaning they don't change duvets when guest check out. Their bathroom taps are rusty. Their breakfast it's same menue and not appetizing worst breakfast, and it's not a buffet breakfast they dish up breakfast for you. I wouldn't recommend anyone with a child to book here.

The hotel was so dirty, very old. The rooms are not close to pictures . No towel, no soap, the hairdryer is broken. In the hallway of the hotel yous ee lezart. The hotel room smells bad. I will never ever stay in this hotel again.

Nous avons pris cette hôtel car notre vol à Dar El salam a changée du coup nous sommes arrivés à 2h du matin départ à 10h du matin une courte nuit et heureusement !!!! La propreté laisse à désirer !!! Les draps sale ! Tache sur taie d’oreiller !!! L’état de la salle de bain une honte

- jacqueline (10/5): My stay at M Hotel was short but sweet. I love the customer service, friendly staff and food. My stay was safe and pleas - The property needed some love and care, in terms of interior, however despite the age of the hotel, it was clean, calming and safe. The staff were so professional and friendly. I had a short stay but kept coming to have lunch with my children. Our room was quadruple triple room, very spacious for the time that we needed. The food was great! The bed was so comfortable and clean. House cleaning came everyday to clean. I speak Swahili which made things a lot easier. I would recommend trying learn a few words to have a better communication with the staff. You must call 1 hour in advance for order food as everything is made fresh! We hardly got bitten by mosquitoes because the place was well secure. Every time I needed help the staff were attentive and made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast definitely needed upgrading. I love the fresh fruits but less oil in the fried food. I would have preferred options or a new menu in the breakfast. Need to make sure the phones are working.. I didn’t stay long enough to see more issues.. Need to upgrade the hotel in terms of interior and design.

Room is very old and toilet was damaged. No soap, shampoo, water supplied. Tap water is salted and undrinkable. Breakfast always lately and poor services. Very bad hotel with "FOUR STAR". The location was excellent as it was near to the function rooms of the events we had come to attend. Several of the items within the bathroom we in desperate need of rejuvenation and repair inline with the rest of the hotel which appears to have undergone some work since we last stayed there.

- Andrew (8/5): Short and sweet trip - Breakfast was good -fruit then eggs, bread plus juice and tea/ coffee with milk - served quickly. Warm welcome and a short walk to places to eat. Quiet at night so slept well (mainly). Lovely hot shower. TV an wif-fi not working when arrived but staff worked quickly to get both fixed. Air-con positioned by the one bed so that got a bit cold whereas the other one got a bit hot - but not a major problem as one put on the duvet and the other threw it off!! Bathroom door didn't fasten properly but again no problem with good friends.

Room has super A/C, beds so comfortable, room was clean and as a bonus got more than one towel. Manager super helpful and always around. Excellent value for money. Bathrooms need renovation which I have been told is imminent.. think this is the only downside at the moment

- gregory (8/5): Overall Good - The staff at the M Hotel was helpful and kind. Noise was a factor as it in on a busy road and there is no sound-proofing. A beach shuttle was advertised but there was no beach shuttle readily available during my stay. After some consternation, the manager did very kindly arrange for a tuk-tuk to take me. She was trying to remove the promise of the shuttle from the online posting. All the staff I met were helpful and friendly.
