- Stephanie (8/5): Personnel au top - Personnel très gentil et à l'écoute. La planche apéro était très bonne ainsi que le petit déjeuner qui était parfait. Le seul petit bémol concerne le ménage de la chambre(pas mal de poussières) et le bruit dans le couloir la nuit. Nous reviendrons merci

Pas de climatisation dans la chambre, horrible en plein après midi, heureusement que la soirée a été plus fraîche. Bien dormi, bon matelas. Petit déjeuner correct.

La personne qui nous accueille opère le changement sans problème. Le lendemain,la chambre n a pas été faite. En plus odeur d égout dans la salle de bains. Par contre,la literie est bonne
- Verified traveler (4/5): A éviter - Volet cassé. Télévision en panne (aucune information à ce sujet). Pas de climatisation donc obligé d’ouvrir les fenêtres car chaleur insupportable. Environnement très bruyant toute la nuit (cris, circulation, néon publicitaire), quartier peu rassurant. Lits inconfortables. Salle de bain vétuste et exiguë (pas d’espace entre wc et lavabo, baignoire dont le fond n’est pas stable). Appliques non raccordées. Parking à régler en plus (5 euros). Deux séjours étaient prévus initialement mais nous n’avons pas renouvelé l’expérience alors que notre deuxième séjour était déjà réglé (et non remboursable). Un mail a été envoyé à ce sujet à Hotel.com mais aucune réponse ni dédommagement.

We tried via email and never got a response, so asked our French Airbnb hosts to call, hotel refused to do anything over the phone and said they would reply to our email. Never heard from them. Terrible customer service avoid like the plague

Le petit bémol serait d’avoir un rideau ou une porte pour la douche même si elle est dans un renforcement, car étant avec des enfants ou des amis cela pourrait être gênant. Je recommande cet hôtel.

- NICOLAS (2/5): - L’accueil se fait par l’entrée d’un restaurant qui me semble faire parti de l’hôtel. Je n’ai pas eu de chauffage de toute la nuit, ainsi que de l’eau chaude qui a mis au moins 5 minutes à arriver. Le personnel désagréable quand on leur soumet notre problématique. J’ai fait l’erreur de ne pas regarder les avis sur Google qui sont catastrophiques. Je pense qu’il serait bien d’enlever de votre liste cet hôtel qui se permet en plus d’afficher deux étoiles. J’avais réservé pour deux nuits et je n’ai pas honoré ma deuxième nuit, j’ai préféré rentrer de nuit chez moi. C’est inadmissible que ce type d’établissement soit proposer par vos services surtout quand on parle de déplacements professionnels.

Certaines personnes du personnel ne se soucient pas de nos commentaires, très décevant on ne le recommande pas, nous sommes partis sans excuse de leur part.

Oja: mijn hele verblijf (1 nacht) bleef er een alarm afgaan. Alsof er brand was. S ochtends nog steeds gepiep. Maar dat hoorde ik 4 hoog gelukkig niet.
- MetalWookiee (6/5): Not bad really - We were travelling North from Spain and our daughter found and booked this as we drove (she's 10, was quite proud and hoped she picked well), the hotel was nice enough for the price with a good view of the train station. Bit of a maze to get to it through the hotel but once there it was quiet and clean.

Bien sûr, ce n'est pas un hotel de luxe et il n'est pas là pour ça, mais l'hotel évidemment bien situé et la literie reste confortable. On voit que l'hotel a déjà eu une belle vie, quelques ajustements et petits bonus lui aurait permis de grappiller quelques autres bons points pour que rapport qualité/prix soit encore plus haut.

- eliane (4/5): Propreté et confort mais c'est tout - Séjour difficile car le parking n'était pas disponible (non réservé car ce n'était pas précisé et arrivée tardive prévue et signalée et confirmée). Problème d'eau polluée juste avant notre arrivée donc pas de possibilité de dîner ni d'hygiène buccal car pas d'eau en bouteille mis à disposition malgré la canicule... Pas de climatisation, pas précisé et pas de petit déjeuner avant 7h30... officiellement mais j'ai quitté l'établissement à 7h35 et après avoir appelé le numéro mis à disposition pour remettre ma "clé". J'ai du la posé sur le "bar" de la réception sans voir personne... alors que je n'étais pas sûre du règlement.

Ensuite, accueil abe e panton en bas des fesses pour une premiere chambre qui sentait l'urine (ou quelqke chose d'équivalent) dès les escaliers. Changemenr de chambre et là surprise! Pas chauffée et fenetre fermant a moitie! Linge de lit ni aux normes( couvertures)ni repassé (draps).Apres mise en route à fond du radiateur à 18h30, il etait a peine tiède le lendemain a 7h du matin!!! Nous avons dormi habillés et ne nous sommes pas servi de la douche à cause du froid !!!! Enfin petit déjeuner au prix de 9€ par personne, tres limité en choix et oh surprise!!! Les yaourts proposés sont depasses de 8 jours!!!! La TOTALE!

- Verified traveler (6/5): Ah c’est dommage - Mauvaise surprise en arrivant à 23h30… Il n’y avait plus de place dans le parking donc nous devions nous garer ailleurs avec une voiture remplie pour 2 semaines de vacances… Il fallait lire entre les lignes que le parking était disponible mais selon disponibilité! Donc si vous voulez vous arrêter à un horaire tardif, et ne pas passez la nuit à surveiller votre voiture, passez votre chemin. Sinon, rien a dire sur la chambre, il n’en faut pas plus juste pour dormir.

- 497cbr (6/5): For want of a plug! - This was our second visit to the hotel. It was not their fault that we were late in arriving - after both the Reception and the Restaurant had closed! - as this was due to some major hold-ups caused by the blockades arranged by "Les Gilets Jaunes"! To their credit, a quick 'phone-call had a Receptionist arrive, followed by another gentleman whom we took to be at managerial level. We were eventually registered (we did have a booking!) and took our baggage up to our room. We then decided to go out to find something to eat as, with the various hold-ups, we had not had a proper meal all day. Sadly, by 11.00 p.m. Chateauroux provides no eating establishments that we could find! The few that were still open were not accepting any new custom. We returned to our room - to discover that we could not enter. I went down to the Reception area, and discovered other guests with, apparently, the same problem. Our 'keycard' was dealt with in a machine; I went back up; and this time it worked. Before we shared the one apple that we had :-( ,my wife decided that a bath would help (she suffers from fibromyalgia). That was when we discovered that although there was a bath in the en suite, there was no way by which the water could be retained! My wife managed to hold a cloth over the drain hole, with her heel - but that was hardly satisfactory! It was, of course, now too late to go searching for staff. Later, there was excessive noise - one assumes from fellow guests - but I don't suppose that the hotel can be held fully responsible for that. All in all, a less pleasant experience than our previous one. It is now unlikely that we shall return.

- Isabel (10/5): Excellent hotel - Excellent hotel, fantastic location near several metro lines and the rer for cdg Airport. Room much bigger than most Paris hotel rooms, bed very comfy. Service was excellent, the person at reception could not have been more helpful. Will definitely go back.
- B3619ICcarolineb (2/5): Dirty! - We stayed one night in the double room, the shower had not been cleaned there was all sorts of hair left from the previous occupier, rubbish, sweats etc left in the shower tray, no toilet roll, one of the towels had a human nail attached to it and the table tops had not been cleaned. When mentioned to the receptionist he asked if the bed was ok, I said yes and he said there is no problem then! Didn't seem to bother him that a family of 4 couldn't use the bathroom!
- C6208TJjohna (8/5): Quality budget accommodation - I stayed here for a night when travelling from Bergerac to Dieppe. Some of the reviews on Trip Advisor weren't promising and I wondered if I'd made the right decision to stay here. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I was welcomed warmly by the manager and , on asking for a room well away from the main road, I was given a room at the back of the hotel. When I had problems opening the door of the room with a keycard, the manager was quick to offer help. The room was simply furnished and the bed was very comfortable - I had an excellent night's sleep. The en-suite was spotlessly clean, as was the rest of the room. Breakfast the next morning was good -baguette, jams, pastries, fruit, cheese, good quality orange juice, yoghurt and coffee. The hotel is easy to find . It's almost exactly opposite the SNCF station. Just keep following the signs to Gare. The hotel benefits from free parking behind the building. If you need an evening meal, there are lots of good restaurants nearby. I would have no hesitation in staying here again - very good value for money.
- slam73 (6/5): Cheap and ok-ish - At arriving the no one was behind reception desk. Waited for 20 minutes. Then directed to wrong room on wrong floor. Room was ok for this price. No airco. Bathroom was a bit run-down. Room was clean. But if noise from the road between the hotel and the train station. Lots of free parking space. Ok for the price of 47 dollars a night. Poor fish at the reception.
