Gregers (8/5): Best location in Rome - Spacious quiet apartment in a perfect location on first floor in a very small alley between Campo di Fiori and Vittorio Emanuelle II. You can't ask for a better location in Rome. The apartment is not particularly fancy in an old building and with two bedrooms up the stairs and the third bedroom behind the kitchen, the two AC appliances by the windows can't cool it down on a hot day. There are plenty of movable fans to help you cool down though. The kitchen is very functional, the internet is excellent, there are two bathrooms with showers and there is a small well-equipped Supermarket just around the corner. All in all we had a fantastic extended weekend in this apartment where you are close to everything but the nights are warm. I would not hesitate to go again, but would hope it isn't during at heat wave. Both restaurants in the square below are excellent. The local bureau messed up the pre-booked transport from the airport, but with 5 people and not too much luggage the fixed price taxi (48€) was cheaper anyway.
