• Aleshia (10/5): Great price for the quality - The entire property was immaculate, the pool is small but cute and clean. The lobby is clean and inviting. The owner-operator is so kind and courteous. The breakfast was more than I expected (yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereal, juices, bottled water, coffee and many creamer options, bagels & cream cheese). I always travel with a white noise machine, but my friend did not have one and she was awoken by slamming doors (fault of fire doors and inconsiderate people and not sure how you fix that).

• Aleshia (10/5): Amazing quality for the price - The owner operator is so helpful, kind, keeps the property in immaculate condition, has a great breakfast spread of coffee, juices, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, bagels and cream cheese, toast... when people left their rooms, the doors slammed and it was very loud. Because they are fire doors, I am not sure what the owner could even do. I always travel with a white noise machine, and it didn't bother me so much, but my partner was in a different room and without a noise machine, it did affect him.

The details were really appreciated, for example, oat and soy milk options. Nothing. I was blown away by the cleanliness and service for this price.

• Samantha (10/5): Coachman Inn is an excellent budget location-clean, friendly, and helpful. - The manager and staff were gracious, communicative, welcoming, and endlessly helpful. We came as a group, but with two separate reservations, but without our even asking, they moved us to be closer to each other. When we wanted to gather in the evening to drink a bottle of wine, not only did they invite us to do this in the lobby, where there was more seating, but they brought us wine glasses! When I returned home and discovered I had left my phone charger, the manager was immediately responsive, even texting me pictures of two diferent chargers to make sure I got the right one back. They went above and beyond in every way.

• John (9/5): - The best part of staying at the Coachman is that it is owner operated. The family that owns it also runs it and it shows. They were meticulous in providing for the needs of the visitors. Nothing, really - a bit too close to the interstate, so traffic noise was a small issue.

He made us feel extremely welcomed, and the next day at breakfast, he was doing his best to meet everyone's needs. He went over and above! The motel was nice, and the rooms were comfortable. It fit our needs, so there wasn't anything to note.

Breakfast also had plenty of options. The staff was amazing, from offering water in the gym, to assisting with bringing a heavy oxygen machine to the room , as I was traveling with my elderly mother. They made recommendations of activities in the area and were very helpful in providing a map and suggestions for sites and things not to be missed in Bellingham. We added an extra day to our stay and thankfully they were able to accommodate us. I would highly recommend staying here.

Good location for getting on and off the freeway. It was a little difficult to operate the TV. I would suggest some instructions be placed in the room.

Sheets were very worn, heater was very noisy, there was a microwave in the hall outside our room for communal use.

The proper is spotless modern and a very smart approach to business! The owners clearly take pride in their business and actually put a lot of thought into smart business and customer satisfaction. Beyond a great price,it is very close to local attractions.close to the shopping restaurant and downtown, it's very convenient if you are visiting a Western university or watcom university student. I strongly believe this hotel!
• Beth (9/5): Very comfortable stay in Bellingham - As long as you realize that this isn't a 5 star hotel, you will be very happy with your stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful and a basic breakfast was provided. We decided to eat breakfast out so I can't comment on its quality. Our stay was very enjoyable and the location is very close to Western Washington University.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than expected with a good assortment of toaster items, fruit, dairy, cereals and fresh brewed coffee. None of that coffee from a box.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. Helped us with our bags. Responses to every question and request. Rooms had extra pillows. Just well done for a motor lodge. Everything was great except the water temperature in the shower nicer got really hot. It was never cold. The shower was comfortably warm but that was with only the hot water on. I like a steamy shower and that was not possible even leaving the hot water running for 15-20 minutes. I shared this feedback directly with the staff.

Very communicative staff as any messages I sent were responded to promptly. Breakfast was basic but good enough. I have nothing to share regarding improvements.
