• Csaba (7/5): - A szállás jó helyen van, pár perc sétára a tengertől. A szoba nagyon kényelmes és jól felszerelt. A parkolás egyszerű és biztonságos, van lehetőség a hotel előtt parkolni és van több szintes fedett garázs is. A személyzet lekezelően viselkedett már érkezéskor is és ez csak rosszabbodott az ottlétünk alatt. Érkezéskor nem kaptunk infót a szállodai dolgokról (mikor van reggeli, merre van a stand stb). Kaptunk egy szobát, ami a tóra és a főútra nézett. A kilátás pazar volt, de elképesztően felhallatszott a forgalom zaja és egy alacsonyabban lévő, nyugisabb szobát kértünk. Az első nap a svédasztalos reggeli még megfelelő volt, de ahogy teltek a napok, úgy romlott a helyzet. Második nap már nem volt sütemény, utolsó napra már semmit nem tettek ki, a kenyér, a bucik és pár szalámin kívül. Míg az első nap volt sütemény, gyümölcsök, szalámik, sajtok, tojások, virsli, kolbászok, édességek, joghurtok, stb, az utolsón szinte semmi. Azt is kérni kellett a meglehetősen udvariatlan személyzettől, hogy tojást vagy gyümölcsöt szeretnénk. Kértünk görögdinnyét, kaptunk sárgadinnyét. A vajért is szólni kellett. Sütemény vagy édesség egyáltalán nem volt. A párom kért 3 tojást, tőlem meg sem kérdezték mit kérek. A koffeinmentes kávéért 23 lejt kellett pluszban fizetni. Szerencsére ez már az utolsó napunkon volt, nem szívesen maradtunk volna tovább. Saját stranddal nem rendelkezik a hotel, egy bárnak a partszakaszát lehet használni, napozóágyakkal együtt. Már az első nap probléma volt a strand törölközőkkel, mert senki nem volt a bárban. Később előkerült valaki, aki adott törölközőket, de visszafelé már küzdelmesebb volt a dolog, mire visszakaptuk a letét kártyákat. A második naptól már nem vártunk senkire. A strand apró kagylós, homokkal keveredve, papucs vagy tengeri cipő erősen ajánlott. A vízben már jobb a helyzet. Értem én, hogy szezon vége van és nincs sok vendég, de ez nem magyarázza meg ezt a stílust a személyzettől, egy 4 csillag helytől nem ezt várja az ember. Ezért az árért sok lehetőség van a környéken.

The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable but small. arrogant and unassuming reception staff, inconsistencies between the service paid for through booking and that offered at the location, unventilated rooms, poor cleanliness, clogged bathroom drain system. exaggerated quality/price ratio. The hotel's location, even though it overlooks the beach, still doesn't allow you to see the sunrise, at least from the apartment we had.

However, if you’ve never been to the area and are after a traditional beach/pool holiday, I’d urge you to consider alternatives. Mamaia beach may look like white sand in photos, but in reality, it’s rough and coarse—more like construction material. The sea is also not very clear. The area itself is a bit odd. There are many hotels under construction, but no real “flow” or charm to the layout. As a visitor, you’ll find yourself walking along a busy main road flanked by concrete buildings. There isn’t a central street lined with bars and restaurants; most dining options are directly on the beach, which might be fine during the day, but less appealing in the evening. Hotel: The hotel is modern, clean, and generally pleasant. The pool area is lovely, but if you want to spend time there, I recommend going early—by around 2 p.m. it starts to fall into shade, and by 3 p.m. it’s fully shaded (based on our stay in June). Rooms: The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable. I didn’t specify a preference for a lake or sea view and was given a lake view. Both sides offer nice views, but if you plan to spend time on your balcony, I’d recommend the sea-view side. The lake side overlooks a busy road, which detracts from the experience. That said, the sea view side backs onto clubs like Loft, so it can be extremely noisy, especially on Saturday nights. Breakfast: Breakfast was included and featured a good variety. Everything I tried was tasty, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. The only downside was the coffee machine—it’s slow, produces small cups of lukewarm coffee, and there’s only one machine for the entire restaurant. Service: Overall, service was good. Reception and pool bar staff were friendly and professional. We had lunch at the hotel once; I ordered a lamb kebab with bulgur wheat and roasted vegetables, but it arrived with rice and flatbread instead. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he simply shrugged and said, “The menu is wrong,” then walked off—not ideal, especially after a 30-minute wait. Disappointing service in that instance. Maya Beach: One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the advertised free access to Asylum Beach Club, including loungers and towels. In practice, you get access to Maya Beach, which is reached through Asylum and appears to be part of the same Loft Group. We used Maya Beach a few times. Aside from the coarse sand, the main issue was a particular staff member who was unprofessional—demanding tips, making rude remarks, and adding a larger tip to my card payment than I authorized. I reported the incident to The Loft and copied the hotel (Nyota) in, but haven’t received a response from either as of writing. This experience has significantly impacted my review score of the hotel. On a more positive note, the girls at the towel booth were consistently friendly and helpful. Summary: If I ever found myself needing to return to Mamaia, I’d likely choose this hotel again—it’s one of the best options in the area. However, I don’t see myself wanting to holiday in Mamaia again.

• Diana (10/5): - Amabilitatea de care a dat dovada personalul pe toata durata sederii, faptul ca desi eram in extra sezon totul a decurs minunat, surpriza de care am avut parte in camera cu ocazia zilei mele de nastere la care nu m-am asteptat deloc, iar lista poate continua Nu se poate vorbi de asa ceva, totul a fost la superlativ!

Я был в конце апреля, в отеле почти никого не было и как сказали работники ресторана что из за этого на завтрак шведский стол сейчас не сервируют, мол для каждого гостя завтрак готовят отдельно, от 4-ых звездочного отеля за такие деньги ожидаешь большего..☹️

• 382madalinac (10/5): Few days by the sea - Hello, guys! So this hotel had everything- pool (a bit too small), restaurant, shops for clothes, hair salon, free parking. The breakfast was with a lot of sortiments of food, even soup. The coffee was good also. The rooms were very very clean and the mini bar well stocked. The very good part was that they offered sun beds at the beach club nearby. Hope you like it also ❤️
