• Duncan (10/5): The best condo on n PV Romantic Zone for us. - Great location. Beautiful large size 1 bedroom and 2 full bathrooms with shower. Kitchen is well stocked. King bed is very comfy. Nice large screen TV and all cable subscriptions. Easy walking distance to the beach and many great restaurants. Many nice features in the large condo building, including great rooftop pool and open lounging and dining areas. Also Great sunset viewing. No private parking. But there is usually open street parking available.

• Veronica McNelis (10/5): - I love how quiet this place is at night. You don't hear a single bit of nightclub noise and very few cars or anything else. Location is fabulous and just tucked away enough to be peaceful, just around the corner from Basilio Badillo. It's a great restaurants nearby and OXXO just around the corner. The bed is comfortable. The pool is in the hot tub is hot. Very little, just 2 small points.There could be extra betting. There's a pullout couch, but you cannot use it because there are no sheets and blankets for it. Also, the condo needs new coffee mugs.Two out of three have chips on the lip.

Faucets sprayed everywhere, shelving was loose. Very low on cutlery. Some of the bowls were not cleaned well. It was old and tired.

• Richard (10/5): Super comfortable with ideal location and amenities. - V399 is in a perfect location within Zona Romantica. Everything is walkable. No hills or stairs to deal with. Close to all the most popular bars and restaurants, but not noisy at night. Uriel and his team are great communicators and promptly respond to any needs or inquiries. Sadly, the pool is currently under construction but the large jacuzzi worked just fine to cool off on the hot days.
• Peter (9/5): This was an unexpected getaway and I was happy to be in this beautiful apartment and appreciate the friendly staff. - The location is near lots of shopping, restaurants, and bars. The apt is clean and spacious. The king sized bed was very confortable. The views from the patio and rooftop are great. The pool was closed for renovation but the jacuzzi is big enough to float in. ;) The doors into the building are very heavy and I kept bumping into them.

Large comfortable rooms on 4th floor, decently appointed kitchen, good storage available, nice view of sea and gorgeous sunsets from nice size balcony. Good restaurants close, several small mini marts, and couple of blocks to beach and malecon. Housekeeping available, check in 1/2 block nearby, simple and quick. Fabulous pool, bbq, lounge areas on roof were our favourite place after our balcony. Hot water would have been nice for showers and washing dishes although more inconvenience than dislike. Would suggest a handbook of instructions in English for appliances, washing machine/dryer, TV and anything else of interest to travellers.

The location was superb and the amenities (pool, hot tub) on the rooftop were incredible. It was quiet, clean, and comfortable, and within walking distance to lots of main sights and attractions. • Veronica (7/5): It's gone downhill a little. - Great location. Beautiful pool. Quiet at night Stayed there 6 months ago and it's not as good. The ac in the bedroom isn't working. It was great last time. We also found cockroaches on the kitchen and both bathrooms. I killed at least 5 during our 3 night stay. 3 of them were in the bathroom that is completely open to the bedroom so I would check the bed before going to sleep. Also, 6 months later and the hot tub still isn't working. I'm guessing it never does. They should take those pictures off the listing.

• Henry (8/5): Will stay there again! - Property has a great location. It is quiet although in the heart of everything. Roof top pool is great. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The thing that bugged us was they only had one set of keys available at arrival at the desk in Posada del Roger. We had to leave a cash, 500 peso deposit for which you are given a receipt. The next day, we were able to get a 2nd set of keys, again another 500 peso deposit. BE SURE TO HANG ON TO THE RECEIPTS! We had to provide the keys along with the receipts at checkout to receive our cash deposits.

• Orlando (1/5): would have liked to be in the unit we originally reserved, v177 was a smaller unit further away from the area we wanted - was not the property we originally reserved, was put into a studio with only one bathroom in a different building. the pool was nice the location was close to the beach but we wanted to be closer to all the nightlife for the last few days bed was extremely uncomfortable, didn’t have running water for almost a whole day, elevator went out for the day, shower didn’t work that well. bathroom was extremely dark, had a burnt out light, v177 was further away from the area we wanted to be in

• Michael (6/5): Staying in this room was a total comedy of errors! In the 30 + years I have been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta you wil - We liked the location and the greeters at the desk at V399. Also the pool was very nice. From there it was all downhill. We had booked room 307 but were placed in room 403. So our review is based solely on the room we stayed in NOT room 307! The kicker is we had to pay our money in cash at a motel type facility and then walk the last couple of blocks to V399! The lighting in both bathroom was horrible! The entire place was not cleaned very well. The refrigerator froze all the food that was placed into it even at the warmest setting. The water spout on the freezer door did not work. The washing machine did not work properly during our entire stay. The “shag” carpeting in the living room was in a word NASTY! Ants were in and around the carpet constantly.

• Veronica (10/5): Best place we've ever stayed in Vallarta! - Super quiet at night. Very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Beautiful and secure building with an elevator and private security. We loved having a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, and a washer and dryer in the unit. Responsive staff at Hotel Posada de Roger. Very easy to get housekeeping services whenever you want them. The rooftop pool was nice, never crowded, and always clean. Great coffee shop and awesome taco stand right across the street (try the machaca at Tia Peras)! 5 minute walk to the beach. Perfect location in the romantic zone. We will definitely be staying here, again. Our only complaint was that the hot tub was not working during our stay.

• Matthias (8/5): Very good - A nice spacious and clean apartment. The bed took a couple of nights getting used to, then it was fine. It wouldn't hurt to replace the mattress at some point. Overall a great place to stay. Would choose it again. Loved the spacious balcony. The 2 bathrooms. I'm a light sleeper, and I was glad to have earplugs with me. Without them my nights would have been quite disturbed. The location is very central. And while that is great and what we wanted, there is also a fair amount or a lot of noise from the streets.
• Jose (5/5): The condo is great and has great views of the city and a partial (distant) view of the ocean. - The location is ideal right in the heart of the Zona Romatica! The egg foam topper needs to be removed from the bed or, if the host feels some kind of mattress protection is necessary, then it needs to be replace with a quality mattress topper. The egg foam is really uncomfortable.
