• Carolyn (7/5): Cheap room, in a good location, with very helpful staff. Lovely meals at the hotel. - Very helpful, friendly staff. They were extremely helpful during our stay. They gave you alcohol drink discount vouchers, but we don’t drink!! Maybe a discount on meals for guests.

• Annette (9/5): We needed a better description of the premises. - The staff were brilliant and so helpful. The food was wonderful. The room was clean although the curtains and blinds could do with a wash. I requested no stairs/ground floor but they only had upstairs rooms. The bathroom was across the hall from our room. My sister and I are age pensioners and the stairs were a real problem. If someone had informed of these 2 things we may have changed our booking. One of the staff carried our bags up the stairs, so we were grateful for that.

Everything about my stay, I did not like I was told before I paid I could put my motorbike in a back room but after I paid another lady so no you can't, plus when I went to pay the price went up to $200.00 just to sleep in a bed ripe off never stay there ever again

• Thanh (5/5): Decent enough for an overnight stay only and no more. - The staff were the highlight of our stay at the Cally. The hotel is very old fashioned the rooms were old and run-down. Wifi and the television are the only signs of modernity. The run -down nature of the rooms with damaged cupboards, old carpet and an uncomfortable bed.

No tea kettle (which is stated on the listing) - the only options for coffee are downstairs for $4 or elsewhere. there was music downstairs, which ended at 11pm so it was not bothersome.

• Giuseppe (8/5): Meet my expectations. Good value for money, lovely build and room. - Location was perfect, really close to the center. Room was small, but cozy. Functioning ac and really comfy bed. Overall my stay was good! The shower could use a little upgrade, but nothing major. Just a heads up — there were a few items left under the bed from previous guests, so it might be worth checking and giving it a deeper vacuum now and then.

• Srikanth (9/5): - Great value accommodation for all inc families. It is located in the heart of Warrnambool and is close to everything. Has PUB, TAB, and Restaurant on the ground floor and Onsite parking. Accommodation is on the first floor and is not serviced by a lift.

• Walks96 (8/5): - Staff were polite in getting us in our rooms as well as at the bar. The room itself was nice with aircon, a fridge, a tv and a comfortable bed. Overall really great value. The pub downstairs also had a great atmosphere. The mens bathroom had a big sign up that said to use the provided bath mat, but I wasn't provided one and presumably other guests werent either, as in the morning the floor there was quite wet. It would be nice to have a couple of storage spots for clothes to place my clothes in so I coyld get changed after coming out the shower as the only place to leave them was the wet floor.
• Boris Rides (10/5): Had a great time there. Good Aussie country pub with a great vibe. Would definitely stay there aga - Simple Aussie hotel. Great staff, food and value. Had necessary amenities, aircon worked well, beds were comfortable and the price was unbeatable. Not a complaint but stairs could be an issues for some people, was fine for our group though.

• Brendan (7/5): Good pub room in central location. - This is a very basic pub room. Just bed tv, air conditioner and bar fridge in the room. The pub is in a good location. The toilets and shower are down the hall and shared but you get what you pay for.

Certain was filthy, walls where dirty, window was dirty, fridge was dirty and stunk, basically everything was dirty but for the price i can’t expect much

• Baulch (8/5): Cally Hotel room review 2025 - Close to everything in town live music downstairs was amazing Filthy carpets like I mean filthy, the bunk bed was squeaky needed maintenance the wifi was hard to hook up to and wouldn't connect to the tv no heater remote either and it's 2025 the open shared bathroom was very uncomfortable no privacy what so ever put stalls in with locked doors there was enough room to do that walkway outside was flooded got wet feet other than all that the staff were amazing it was cheap enough

• bland (3/5): Horrible should of paid extra and stayed elsewhere - Close to shops and the beach Could not get any more pillows kids felt unsafe lots drunk teens outside top bunk sheets were pee stained could barely move in the room only had tv and bar fridge no kettle no glasses no nothing bathroom was left with wet towels very loud place got charged at hotel after booking online when checking in staff not that friendly was terrible stay got barely any sleep my son just wanted to leave not worth price for family room no lamp in room just 3 beds bar fridge and TV will not stay there again
