- Isabel (10/5): Personal amable y buen desayuno - Muy buen sitio para quedarse a dormir. A destacar que el personal es muy amable y dispuesto. Nos trataron muy bien, y nos ayudaron con muchas cosas y recomendaciones. Las camas son cómodas, el baño y la habitación estaban limpios, y la terraza es muy bonita. Nos encantó el desayuno, muy rico y completo. Usamos el servicio de lavandería y todo bien. La ubicación es execelente, a tan solo 1 minuto de Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Si vuelvo a Bhaktapur, me alojaría aquí. No tengo nada malo que decir del alojamiento.

You are minutes walking from anything you could possibly want to explore, drink, eat or do. Plus the rooftop breakfast is fabulous!!! You’ll be so thankful you booked here, I promise!! And the staff is beyond top notch!! They were so understanding of my delayed flight (arriving at the hotel after midnight), accommodating with room amenities, breakfast and laundry. Everyone was incredibly kind, accommodating and genuine. I adored my stay at Hotel Vintage Home.

They have a fantastic breakfast (included in your stay) on the roof. It’s the best spot for your morning coffee, tea or book. The only thing better than breakfast and location is the staff!! - Muller (9/5): Je thuis voelen bij Vintage Home in Bhaktapur - Wij hebben twee weken in dit hotel verbleven en kijken met een heel positief gevoel terug op ons verblijf. Wat voor ons echt het verschil maakte, was de uitzonderlijke gastvrijheid van het team. De vriendelijkheid en betrokkenheid van het personeel waren oprecht en hartverwarmend. Ze dachten actief met ons mee — niet alleen in praktische zin, maar ook persoonlijk. Zo werd er samen met ons gekeken naar welke kamer het beste bij onze situatie paste, en kregen we de mogelijkheid om ons ontbijt op de begane grond te gebruiken in plaats van in het toproofrestaurant, wat voor ons prettiger was. Daarnaast gingen ze zelfs zo ver dat ze ons een taxirit aanboden toen die nodig hadden — een gebaar dat veel zegt over hun zorg en toewijding. Tegelijkertijd zien we ook nog kansen om het verblijf naar een nog hoger niveau te tillen. Met name in de sfeer en afwerking van de ruimtes zou wat meer aandacht mogen gaan. Een iets warmere, meer verfijnde (misschien wat “vrouwelijke”) touch zou het geheel nog aangenamer maken. 😊 Daarnaast zou het fijn zijn als er meer aandacht is voor de kwaliteit van bijvoorbeeld koffie/barista — een echt goede kop koffie kan veel bijdragen aan de totaalbeleving. Ook ligt er potentie in het beter benutten van de aanwezige ruimtes, zodat gasten zich nog meer welkom en op hun gemak voelen. Al met al een plek met een groot hart en een betrokken team, waar met enkele relatief kleine verbeteringen een nog sterkere totaalervaring kan ontstaan met een concurrerende prijs.

- Birgit (10/5): Tolles Guesthouse mit nettem Team - Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Der Inhaber ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es wurde z.B. ein Taxi perr Apo für uns gebucht, um einen guten Preis zu bekommen. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, gleich am Durbar Square und ist dabei doch sehr ruhig. Frühstück gibt es auf der Dachterrasse. Es gibt 2 Varianten im Wechsel. Und da wir einen längeren Aufenthalt als viele andere hatten, wurde besorgt gefragt, ob es so ok sei. Zimmer sind sauber, Zimmerservice gibt es nicht täglich sondern auf Nachfrage.

The road is quiet in the evening There is a restaurant nearby that has live music. The owner is there to please. We had a problem with hot water for the shower. It was a cloudy day so the rooftop solar hot water wasn’t helping. I think we should have asked for assistance. The doorway into the bathroom is low, so watch your head. It needs a bit of warning and cushion strip

- Rosanna (9/5): Great location for exploring Bhaktapur - The location and breakfast on the rooftop are the highlights. The room is simple but comfortable and the little balcony was very quaint. It’s only a one minute walk to the main Durbar Square and there are some great places to eat nearby. The room was a little small with not many plug sockets but it didn’t really impact our stay. With just few small touches, like a nicer door to the balcony and a few decorative bits, the room could look lovely.

- Benoit (8/5): Bonne adresse à Bhaktapur juste à coté de Durbar square - Idéalement situé à Bhaktapur il s’agit d’une maison traditionnelle aménagée en guest house. Les chambres sont simples et la salle de bain basique mais pour 2 nuits c’était parfait. L’accueil est excellent et j’ai particulièrement apprécié le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse ensoleillée. Possibilité de faire sa lessive sur place. Beaucoup de restaurants à proximité. Il s’agit d’une maison ancienne donc forcément il n’y a pas de double vitrage. Il peut faire un peu frais et surtout on entend le bruit de la rue. Pensez à prendre des bouchons d’oreille si vous avez le sommeil léger.

Le petit déjeuner est servi sur une terrasse sur le toit. Les deux népalais qui tiennent cet hôtel ont été très sympathique, attentionné et efficaces pendant tout notre séjour. Un balcon sur la rue permet de s’imprégner de l’ambiance de Bhaktapur. A quelques pas de l’hôtel on peut manger ce qui doit certainement être les meilleur pani puri de Bhaktapur à voir le nombre de locaux qui y viennent tous les jours. Un restaurant local situé aussi à quelques pas de l’hôtel sert de délicieux plats népalais

- Shanane (10/5): My Favourite Boutique Hotel in Bhaktapur - I have come and stayed 4 times now with Hotel Vintage Home, the staff always excellent and the owner Suresh is a absolute gem of a gentleman. He takes great pride in his hospitality and in his lovely intimate boutique hotel in the centre of the ancient Himalyan city of Bhaktapur. Breakfast on the roof top terrace garden, sweet rooms with a nostalgic atmosphere of being in a culture that cares for its guests. Rooms are simple, comfortable beds, lovely traditional windows with shutters to look out of and see the life of the local Khwopā (people of Bhaktapur). There are many guest houses and small hotels in Bhaktapur, some just operating as a business for tourists, Hotel Vintage Home is exactly that, a home away from home.

- Rige (10/5): Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - First and foremost, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, doing everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. We had a spacious room with a balcony, and the included breakfast was very good. The location is central in the historic part of town, with sights and great restaurants all within walking distance

- Liam (10/5): Friendly comfort in a magnificent city - Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Great location. A warm and friendly place to stay in a fantastic city. Our balcony room provided first-rate entertainment just by watching the street celebrations while in our room. We had a brilliant time.

- Lennard (9/5): Superb - Spend 3 nights here in February. The rooms are basic but have everything they need and fit the price. Location is perfect, right next to durbar square. What really stands out is the owner and staff, who do everything to make your stay perfect, and to help you with questions about the surroundings and things to do. And bonus for the breakfast! We definitely recommend!
